I had a knack for attracting chaos... and Alphas.

My boyfriend dumps me, kicks me out of his car, and leaves me stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I thought nothing more could go wrong in one night.

But it does.

I’m attacked by wolves, and one of them is my mate — the Alpha of Moonstar.

He takes one look at me and rejects me. Then he simply walks away, leaving me to die, knowing that a rejected mate doesn’t survive without another claim within twenty-four hours.

I should have died that night.

But then he comes.

Kol. The Alpha of Moonclaw.

To save my life, he claims me as his mate, pulling me into his world and his pack. But not into his life.

He doesn’t want me, and I don’t want him either. We both make that perfectly clear.

To him, I’m merely an obligation. To me, he’s my safety net. So the lines are drawn.

But the mate-bond doesn’t understand the rules, and neither do our hearts. When I go into heat, our worlds collide, and all lines are crossed.

As I’m pulled deeper into his world, I realize I’m falling for him — the handsome, brooding, emotionally unavailable Alpha I swore to stay away from.

But his heart is already taken by somebody else — his late mate, whom he still loves dearly.

He could never love me back.

To add to the chaos, I find out I’m pregnant with the Alpha’s baby.

Then a war shakes our ground, forcing Kol and me to confront our past, our enemies, and our feelings.

There’s no time left to lose now. If we lose the war, we’ll lose each other forever.

Usually I don't like second choices of heroine but this h is a selfish and ungrateful bitch, and I hate the word bitch that they always called the h, I know that she suffered, but she wasn't the only one, comparing her past suffering and what happened to the pack in the past, her suffering is very mild. She should be grateful to be saved, she is not worth of being saved, the H should let she die, ungrateful twit.
The H miss more his sister than his first mate and I'm seeing that his first love will be second choice to the ungrateful heroine. I think this is the first time that I wouldn't care if the would is the second best but luck her it won't be here.
And how didn't the wolves never know that the h was pregnant. With they instincts and highly senses they should know. Hell even some of the Hs and other people from normal romances books sometimes knew before the hs. It makes no sense. Why make them wolves or other creatures if they weren't capable of sensing this.

Midnight Flames (Reluctant Mates Book 5)

Midnight Flames (Reluctant Mates Book 5) ~~ Chaos, heartbreak, and alpha energy ~ this book starts messy and stays that way. The FMC is thrown into the deep end, and the alpha is exactly the kind of trouble she doesn’t need… but can’t resist.

This one felt faster paced and a bit more fiery than the others. I enjoyed the unpredictability and the emotional whiplash. Audible really shines here during the confrontations.

If you like drama mixed with heat, this is a solid entry.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it

Midnight flames…

Okay, she was rejected. And the rejection totally destroyed her body and she would have died within 24 hours. The Alpha to another pack claims her, thereby saving her life.

This was an average read for me. The one who rejected her was a horrible person and he had killed most of the mate’s family. The Alpha was one of those guys who lost a previous mate and so he wouldn’t let himself have any feelings.

Nothing really new, hence it’s an average read.

Midnight Flames

I was sad for Ria and Kol. One selfish Alpha and his heinous acts brought them together. That's only plus side of knowing Liam.
