It was good getting to know Jason and Karen better as they are finally starting to date. He has been helping his grandmother out on her farm on the weekends and she pushes him to start dating Karen. Since they are both a little nervous, their first date ends up being a double date with Daisy and Mike. Just as they are going on a few dates, her ex shows up deciding he wants her back, despite him dumping her 4 years ago. That part seemed really weird to me, as he dumped her and it takes him 4 years to decide he wants her? And after putting her through a lot of bad things, he suddenly does a 180 and is over her and wanting to date someone else-that part seemed unrealistic to me that someone would be stalking a woman, get caught, and instantly stops being a stalker and dating another woman? I enjoyed the story, lots of twists and turns, along with a coworker of Karen's starting to go after her, despite her telling him she isn't interested. Some suspense and danger along with the romance. Very nice ending. This is a clean, Christian story.
Jason loved his job as a deputy sheriff and his boss Floyd. Spending his 3 days off over the weekends helping his grandmother on the farm. Granny asking him what he was doing about the woman he had his eye on at church. He did ask her, and she said no she wasn’t dating .Granny advice keep asking till she says yes. Mike and Daisy wondered when Karen was going to go out with Jason, it’s been a year since he ask her. She had been thinking about it, nervous and afraid. Solution double date with her and Mike. The nervousness and blushes on both, showed that the year wait was definitely over.
