This is book three in the series and should not be read as a standalone.

Olive has secrets—horrible ones. She’s run from a man that has scarred her in mind, body, and spirit. Safe in the comforts of new-found friends, Olive attempts to live a normal life—free of her past. Things are going great until she meets Brayden Greene and forbidden sparks fly. Bray threatens the safe world she’s come to know.

Bray’s lived with the punishment of his past for six long months. He’s ready to move on with his life. Upon meeting the gorgeous Olive Redding, Bray will stop at nothing to have her. Problem is—Olive is untouchable and the worst possible woman he could go after.

One night, lines are crossed and the two start down a path that others will and do hate. Can this rocky relationship survive despite the disapproval of all those around them or will it just add another wound in their already scarred pasts?

Once again K. Webster pulled me into the lives of this group of friends. I have been anxiously awaiting Olive’s story since book one of the Breaking The Rules series, Broken, and when I found out that Olive was pairing up with Brayden I was shocked and unsure of how this would work.

I started this with a preconceived notion of Bray and I can honestly say that I should have known better than to judge a character before I read them. I went into reading this book hating him and came out of it loving him. For me that is the sign of a great book and author!

Olive and Bray’s story is one of trust. In book 1 of the series we find out that Bray cheated on Andi (now Olive’s best friend) ending their engagement. This almost broke Andi and took her to some dark places. Andi has worked on healing herself and with the help of a good therapist and the love of Jackson she is working on forgiving Bray.

Deciding to put the past behind her, Andi invites Bray to her birthday party and it is there that he meets and is captivated by Olive. Olive is unlike anyone he has ever met. She is beautiful and kind but she is timid, weak, and skittish. Olive has a past that haunts her and has her keeping everyone, especially men, at arms length.

Even though Olive feels the connection to Brayden right away her brain tells her to back off. She knows what he did to Andi, plus with her past trust is already difficult. The majority of this book is all about learning that trust can be earned and that everyone makes mistakes.

I really enjoyed this book and found Olive and Bray to be an endearing couple that I was pulling for even with the baggage they both brought. Bray’s constant determination to prove himself worthy of Olive made me really fall in love with him more and more. On top of this being a really sweet romance this book had drama, action, and a ton of steamy scenes. There is something here for everyone.

Although this is part of a series I definitely believe it could be read as a standalone since much of the back story is explained in the book. That being said, I do think it is even more enjoyable if you have read the whole series and since they are all fun and fast reads why wouldn’t you?

Well you know how the other friends end up... Now its Olives story. Olive has every reason to be as timid and scared as she is. Scarred is the perfect title for this book. Even though she may be gorgeous, she doesnt flaunt it. She never expects anyone to take interest... Shes a homebody. Her only friends are Andi and Pepper... and now of course Jackson and Jordan.. well if you remember in Andis story.. She dated Bray, he almost destroyed Andi. Literally. Damn him! Yes we all hate him! Well Andis therapist thinks it might be good for Andi to heal if she can at least be friends with Bray, so hes invited to her house for her birthday party, yes the house all three girls share... What does that mean for Olive... knowing the girls wont be able to keep their paws off their men... Will Olive be stuck to play hostess to a man that she hates, even if she doesnt know him. How could she even pretend to be friendly after all Andi went through...? Well, Olive fels indebted to the girls for saving her so she trys for civil but not friendly... Bray is struck stupid by Olives beauty. Is this pull Olive is feeling.. is it attraction or disgust... She has no clue... She knows she can never like Bray as anything more than a friend IF that so she opts for hate, she tries her hardest too... Shes never felt this way with any man EVER. Is it just because its been so long since shes seen such a handsome man that hes having this effect on her? Being friends might be too hard for her. Especially fearing the monster lurking in every corner. What happens if the monster has the only person shes ever loved... Will she go to the girls and their men for help... Or is she strong enough to face her fears alone...? Meeting Bray definitely gave her a piece of the girl she used to be back. Will love be enough to save the people she loves? Find out NOW! ITS RELEASE DAY!!!! (4/28/14)

Another fantastic edition to the Breaking the a Rules series!!!

I was gifted this book, and have read the first two in the series. I fell in love with Jordan in Wrong, as well as Jackson in Broken, and was unsure how Kristi was going to make me love Bray as much as I loved them. I am so happy to say that Kristi Webster did it again!!! I not only loved Bray and Olive as much as I did Andi and Jackson in Broken and Pepper and Jordan in Wrong, I love them more!!! Kristi made me fall for Bray and I was so happy to see his relationship with Olive progress. Olive's story brought tears to my eyes, she has gone through so much in her life and it was amazing to get her backstory and see how it tied into how she acted in the first two books. There is a little drama in this book but it fits the story amazingly! We not only get Bray and Olives story but Andi, Pepper, Jackson, and Jordan all play a role in this book, although it is only told from Bray and Olive's POV. We are also introduced to a new character who will make an appearance in the series as well. I can not give enough praise for this book and author!! I am officially Team Bray!!! If you have read the first two books in the series what are you waiting for?! If you have yet to start this series why not?!?! You will NOT be disappointed! All the characters are phenomenal and the story lines are so unique!

BUY THIS BOOK!!!!

In this third book we get to know Olive and Brayden. As much as I didn't like him before for what happened, he redeems himself and you get to see how he really felt about his prior actions. As usual lots of steamy scenes as well as some kick butt action that happens. This book also let's us in the other characters we've grown to love from the first 2 books.

Once again this author leaves us wanting more and I can't wait for the next book so I can devour it just as quickly as I did all her others.

I loved this series. #2 was by far my favourite. I can't help but hate both Jackson and Bray. I really wanted to like this book but I couldn't connect with Olive and Bray. Had it been Olive and someone else, I might of liked it more. Jackson in #1 and his moods and douchebag behaviour... It wasnt attractive. Jordan in #2 though, sweet gentle kind caring and damn sexy... Now that is a male to be interested in. Read all 3 books in 24 hours.

Bravo, K Webster. To keep a reader interested three books into a series is no easy feat, but you have succeeded with this reader. I love how each story is different Braying Braying Braying but intertwines. Bray is never going to be let forget his betrayal of Andi by her friends, but he has to work for and with them all, so he tries to grin and bear it. One drunken night he breaks down the walls Olive has built around herself and they fall into bed with one another. Brayden wants to see where things might go with Olive but she sees what they have done as a betrayal of the friendship and kindness Andi offered when Olive ran from an abusive relationship that not only scarred her on the inside but did the same on the outside. Brayden tries to honor Olive's wishes but they cannot deny their attraction to each other. When Olive's psycho ex assaults her sister secrets come out threatening to destroy friendships. No longer able to hide their feelings for one another Olive and Brayden come clean to Andi about their situation. Pepper however still doesn't back down on her stance until Jackson's drunken idea of a joke goes viral and almost ruins what Brayden had tried to build with Olive. When her ex appears from nowhere he almost kills Olive and her unborn baby.

It was okay...

This wasn’t my favorite book by this author, but I still liked it a little bit. It had some tough stuff mixed in with some surprises, and a lot of warm and gushy romantic moments. I love this author, and I look forward to reading every single thing she ever writes. This was just not the story for me, but that’s okay! It felt a little rushed at times, and I’m a HFN over HEA kind of girl, and angst is what really drives me, so this story was not something I’m used to reading. But that is just my own personal baggage—

Here is the IMPORTANT take away:

If you like really sweet stories about undeniable love, Insta-love, and a lot of sweaty naked moments, then this is the book for you. Bray is hot, olive is sweet, and this story gives you a whole lot of things to digest. I didn’t hate it, and I am excited to see what happens next.

Scarred...Olive and Brayden 's story

This story was so well written. It told the story of sexual and physical abuse in the world 🌎🌍 of modeling. Brayden is an architect for Jackson and Jordan Compton. These brothers had to rebuild the company their father had ruined with his bad business dealings. Brayden Greene and Olive met when they had a birthday celebration for Andi. And I was Brayden's ex fiance and now is Jackson's girlfriend. They were definitely attracted to one another but they went through a lot with so many outside influences trying to keep them apart. I loved that despite Olive's ex-boyfriend and photographer and Pepper's attitude and even Brayden's mother's ugliness at first because of their loyalty to Andi that Olive and "almost" called it quits. Their love survived it all. It was a good read.

Meh!…this whole thing was just too sweet for me. I’ve also had issues with Bray from the beginning. It simply makes no sense that he’s so much further along in his career than Andi. These books are also supposed to take place in NYC and none of the living conditions reflect that especially Bray’s apartment. Also the attempt to make Bray a good guy who just made one mistake doesn’t ring true to me he just happened to fall into the ow’s pussy while his fiancé was supposed to be at work 😒 Honestly I wouldn’t have picked this up bought I bought the compilation of books 1-4.5 and it’s just so easy to read the next book rather than find something new it also would feel like a DNF and a book has to be horrifically bad for me to do that.

I enjoyed this dark book about Olive a woman scarred by her ex-boyfriend, Drake. He wrote on her stomach with a knife. She has fought to stay away from him ever since she escaped his clutches. She made it to a hospital and saved her live although she couldn't save the life of her unborn child, that she didn't even know she had.

Brayden is Andi's ex, and he has a reputation because of it. He's still trying to make it at Compton Enterprises, and he is doing it. He's cocky and handsome so when he meets Olive at Andi's house, he knows he wants her for his own.

Olive is afraid to get involved with another man, but she finds that his is trustworthy. So, they start seeing each other. Olive still lives in fear of her ex.

Another great story by K. Webster in her Breaking the Rules Series. I met Bray and Olive in Book 1 Broken and I've been intrigued by both characters since then. I was so happy when K. Webster announced she was writing there story and it was so worth the wait.

When I first met Bray, I have to admit I thought he was a total d*k but by the end of Broken I had a little compassion for him and almost felt sorry for him because I don't believe he meant to hurt Andi. When I first met Olive, my heart went out to her immediately and I wondered what hurt and pain she experienced to bring her to the point where she met Andi, I was craving to learn more about her and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to learn more about her.

In Scarred we learn the horrors that Olive endured while she was with a very abusive man. Some of the details of the domestic violence Olive experienced were hard to read, but I'm glad that in the end she survived and thrived as a result of it. We also learn more about Bray and why he did what he did in Book 1 Broken and learned different shades of this sexy and lovable character. Olive and Bray seemed like an odd couple when you learn of their connection to each other but the chemistry between them was fierce and undeniable. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how their romance evolved.

This story has ups and downs, twists and turns and you are left guessing what will happen next. K. Webster is able to keep your attention from the beginning to end in her stories and this story is no different. I believe you will fall in love with Bray and Olive...Enjoy!

Olive is a model and is so want socialise due to her fear of her past. Her previous boyfriend put her through a traumatic experience and she only leave the apparent she shares with Pepper and Andi when she has a modelling job. No one knows what she has been though, when she meet Braydon, Andi's Ex she starts to have feeling she's never had before. Braydon is just head over heels for her from the minute he meets her. Thing happen at Andi's birthday party but Olive struggles and feels she is betraying her friend.

There is a lot of chemistry between them and you are so happy they have found each other, but it not all smooth sailing. There is drama and we get to meet new characters, but like in the previous books the old characters band together and support each other.

You will be sent on a roller coaster ride and go through a lot of different emotions.

I gave this book 5 stars.

In saying this this would be one of the best series I ever read, these books are easy to read and as you read one you want to quickly read the next so that you can continue the journey.
K.Webster has a hit series which will keep you entertained and happy to the end.
I can't wait to read book 4 Mistake to see where this journey goes and how happy this group will be.

Such a great read!!!!

I loved loved loved this story! I won’t lie I wasn’t too happy when we learned in Wrong that Olive had the hots for Bray and vice versa. I kinda didn’t like his character and wasn’t really sure he could be redeemed…. I was so wrong! K Webster proved to me that people can make mistakes and still be good people.

Olive and Bray’s story is one of second chances and realizing that things aren’t always what they seem. These two were brought together in such a realistic way and formed a friendship and then a relationship. Their story was so sweet and sexy.

I love how the story is primarily about Olive and Bray but all the other characters are still so heavily involved. I loved them all so much it was like hanging out with friends….

Loved it! Before I started it I thought I wouldn't like it as much as the others because it was about Bray but I was proved wrong thankfully! Thought it was great! From the moment they seen it other you knew what was gonna happen. What she went through though had my blood boiling but the way Bray handled her was just great and finally going for what they want. Pepper was a total bitch about it but glad they didn't let her get in the way! Vegas made me wanna punch Jackson lol. Another great job K. Webster!!! Roll on next one!

Okay so I did not like this one as much as the other 2 books in the series but still enjoyed it. There were just a few things that made my eyes roll. I know Bray was trying to make up for what he did to Andi but sometimes he seemed like he was trying way too hard. And some of the things that were said seemed a bit unrealistic. but as I continued to read the book their relationship grew on me and I was really pulling for them. I am glad I continued to the end as it turned out better than I had originally thought.

I really enjoyed reading from Bray and Olive's POV's.
You kind hate Bray from the first book with Andi but I found myself falling in love with Brays character in this book.
He's so sweet to Olive and protective.
I was devastated when Drake pushed Olive down the stairs and everyone hinting at the hospital that she lost the baby, almost started crying, thank goodness I didn't need a reason to cry.

The epilogue almost scared the shit out of me, I was like what?, he wouldn't hook up with Andi and Andi wuldn't cheat on Jackson, thank god the author was just pulling my leg!

I will be honest I was not a big Bray fan going into this book... I love Andi and the way he broke her killed me but the way he loves Olive mended my heart and now I can say he is one of the good guys. The story flowed really well and the few plot twists or challenges really that they faced fit nicely and didn't seem forced as many novels seem to have the problem with. Again Ms Webster knows how to write a love story!

I'm trying to think what I can write that will give this book justice and let me say that this is hard. Olive was the character that had it rough and she came out on top. I loved the fact that Bray finally got his HEA but the stuff that Olive had to go through broke my heart. All I can really say is that this is a definite must read because it will have you laughing, crying and shouting and wanting to drop it across the floor but in the end it would all be worth it.

Bray's redeeming story was amazing! I just love him and Olive is so sweet. I loved watching her come into her own! Put some steel in her backbone.
I also adored watching the other characters from this series lives unfold in the background.
