This wonderful little book has tons of information about the the physiology of sharks, it also incorporates a neat key at the top of every species page that shows when the sharks are active, their level of danger, and the waters they're found in. It's a much faster delivery of information, leaving the rest of the pages for the wonderful photographs and other useful information. There's also quite a bit of information on rays.

It's definitely useful and a lot of fun so if you have a friend who loves sharks this is a good stocking stuffer.

This is an extensive book about all shark species, with a reasonable introduction to the kind reviewing special body features and history, along with the history of mankind with sharks.
For information about where to find which specie of sharks, go to this book; it's written well and is very informative.

I really like books and I really like sharks.--So, yea for books about sharks!--Especially this one!--Nice pictures, good facts and none of that Jaws bullshit. Plus, it's got some cool stuff about rays!
