Wow, just wow. I just finished this book, and I’m not sure that I will catch my breath right away. I’d forgotten just how much I loved this world until I started this latest book in the series. Speaking of such, we are thrown almost immediately into the action, but with a small detour to the immediate past. Once the action starts, it doesn’t let go until the very end, where I was stunned into silence about what is going to happen next to these poor characters. They go through so much, I don’t know how they can keep going. Above all, I just love all these characters, and I feel so much for them. We see all the action from multiple POVs, not just the lead character, and this author does this exceptionally well. If you loved the first three books, you are going to absolutely love this one. A wonderfully written showstopper, I don’t think I can wait for the next. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Yes, the book is long, but I'm the sort that is like, "Hello?!? The longer the better!" And in this case, seriously! This series has had me captive from Book 1, but this book, shut the front door! It's that good! I'm rarely stumped for words but this book has me gobsmacked! Epic!!!
