Save Me can be read as a standalone. “I don’t care! Do you hear me? I don’t care Pierce!” She screams at me. She is pissed and breathing fire. She has never looked so beautiful to me. Well when I can see her face and she isn’t turning away from me. “You care. You can pretend you don’t, but you do. You came all the way out here.” I pause grabbing her hand and swinging her around to face me. “You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t care.” I’m breathing fire now myself, but I don’t care. I pull her closer, until her chest touches mine. I cup my hands around her jaw and lean down to whisper against her lips, “You made me, you broke me, now you’re going to freaking save me.” Courtney Pierce never thought he would love anyone but Annabella Gage. She was his entire world for eleven years. Even though she was dating his older brother, he couldn’t seem to let her go. Then things shifted and lines became blurred. Pierce wasn’t sure whose bed Annabella should be in anymore. But Annabella has secrets. Dark secrets she will do anything to protect. So like the crazy witch that she is, she rips Pierce’s heart to shreds and devastates his soul. He’s left with the emotional wreckage and no way out in sight. Then Rachel Sanders drop kicks into his life. The beautiful brunette is utterly hard to resist and one night of intense passion leads to an unexpected surprise. A surprise that has all their friends shocked, because Rachel and Pierce couldn’t be more different. Now he’s left with one option and it doesn’t include Annabella. Rachel, though, is full of surprises and Pierce finds their relationship so incredibly easy. Way easier than what he had with Annabella. So easy he finds he didn’t even know what love was before Rachel. But like any twisted love story, Pierce is hiding dark secrets, too. Secrets that he feels will rip he and Rachel apart. When push comes to shove will Pierce spill those secrets? And if he does, will they separate the new lovers before they even have a chance to begin? Much like Pierce and Annabella, someone else has something to hide. Let’s hope Rachel sticks around because when this secret comes out. , she’ll be the only one who can save Pierce

I live in southern Arkansas with my husband and young daughter. There is also an insane Boston Terrier running around. I've always been a lone wolf and find my friends in books. I started writing at a young age and I haven't stopped since. Most days you can find me either glued to my laptop or my kindle. My first novel, This Beautiful Thing was an Amazon best seller for 11 weeks and a year later I'm still tickled to see people enjoy it. I may not be a huge seller but I have the best fans ever and I thank God everyday for every single one of them.

From the third books on "Make or Break" that was my favorite!!!
It was the most beautiful story!!! It was GEORGEOUS!!!

I feel a little sad that i have to stop reading about it!!!
When i read the first two books i thought that my favourite man will be Channing!!! But i was wrong!!!

I was falling so hard for Courtney!!!! In the first book, i was thinking that he was a big asshole but his book proved me that i was wrong. I fuckin' love this guy!!!

But let me take it from the start...

Courtney was all his life in love with his best friend Annabell, which was dating with his brother...
I know!!! That sucks!!!
In some point she broke his heart and his world turned upside down!!!
His life wasn't easy.... he was having major problems.
So unexpectadly, the guys that comforted him was his previous enemies! Oups!!!
And the best part was that fould salvation for one night in the arms of one of them... Rachel!!!

Rachel never liked Courtney and Annabella but for her brother's girlfriend's shake she tolerated them...
She is a good friend, a little bitch when she wants to, even crazy sometimes and an outright person.
When her boyfriend broke her heart, she turned to an unexpected person for comfrontation.... Courtney!!!

And they're one night stand has an unexpected turn...
Now Courtney nas not ther option besides to be with Rachel and surprisingly he found that to have a relationship with her is so damn easy.

Way easier than what he had with Annabella.
So easy that he finds he didn’t even know what love was before Rachel...

I liked the way they loved each other and fight for their life together!!!

For one more time i liked all the other people that surrounded them!!!
And i really hated that manipulating bitch that become Annabella...

And that is a pity because in the first book i really liked her!!!
I think that with her it was the opposite from Courtney!!!

Oh, God!!! That was so perfect!!!

I didn't want to stop read about it... like Ever!!!!

I loved this book! I really liked it that they liked Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed and Five finger death punch!
It still touches me when they use metal bands in their books!
It is something that not many people like because they are judgemental, so I really like it!

Courtney is a totally different person than we all thought in the first 2 books. He is so swoony!! Rachel is one of my favorites she is so special! She is strong, feisty and sassy! I love her!! She is so incredible!

As the first two books in the series, this one is also full of teenage drama ...

But I like it ...

In this book we finally see how Rachel and Pierce hooked up, we see how they prepare for a new role in their lives ...

The whole gang is still here, being supportive as always, also new secrets are revealed ... it's not easy to face them ...

Next one is Ash and Victor's story, can't wait ...

The only comment I need to write is that Rachel was awful!!!!

She really didn't deserve him from the start .. Ugh I can honestly say I stopped reading the book where she dumped the eggs on his head for nothing! When she was at fault in the first place! :/ effin crazy beyooch! She was really a terrible person #justsaying

There really is not enough words to convey how much I hated her :|
Never really thought I could hate a fictional character till I read this book :| the stuff she said came out sadistic to me and that's not how characters should be in Amanda Heath books .

Could've been better.

This was another good book to add to the make or break series.
pierce and Rachel story all began really when the both of them were at there lowest and it came back to bite them a few months later. It was a good book as you didn't see what was coming to happen. pierce was always the quiet one and Rachel the friendly one but all that changed when the had to grow up quickly but they handled it even if crazy ella did get in the way. xxx

5 Loved-up Stars....!!!

So I am not in a state of mind of giving a rational review here. I am officially fangirling and don't mind becoming a groupie for Courtney Pierce...!! God his name gives me a mini orgasm.. No matter how feminine it is...!

You know before I read this book I had this wierd intuition that I'll love it. And boy did I fall in love...!! This book was in a single word... EPIC...!

After the epic twist in the last book and reading the awesome blurb I was brimming with energy to read this book. I've always loved Rachel and I couldn't decide about Court. In book 1 he was an asshole. In book 2 my heart broke for him. He was so beaten down at the end of Wes's story that I couldn't understand how he would fall for Rachel. But boy did he fall... And fall hard.

This book unlike the others is in Court's POV which I loved... Being in his head was my favourite pass time. You understand him in this book and all his past actions become crystal clear. He may not be perfect but he had his reasons for everything he did. And I was really really glad that he finally got his head outta Annabella's ass.

And Annabella. God she was an epic bitch. You know I just love to hate the bitches in novels. And I think I have never hated anyone more than this Bitch....!!
I wanted to strangle this girl.. Now I'm not really a violent person, but this girl brings out the Jansi Lakshmi Bhai side of me. The way she manipulated Court was so sad to see. The boy was in love (or something like that) and she used that to her maximum and also the Bitch didn't leave his brother Donovan.. Who was a pretty decent guy...

Now that the Bitch has finally ditched his ass Courtney is crestfallen. And that's where Rachel enters. He has known her his whole life and never has he had any romantic notions about her. Of course he has checked her out. He is a guy after all, but that the limit. When Kellan cheats on Rachel ( I really did not get this part. I mean et tu Kellan...???) she is in pretty bad shape and the person she turns to is Pierce.

From then on their lives get intervened forever. Courtney is aware of the gift that is Rachel because with her everything is easy and he just has to be rather than put monstrous effort. He loves the freedom and character the relationship with Rachel gives. He becomes addicted to this beautiful feeling. And lets just say Rachel too learns the awesomeness of my Courtney and falls right along with him to loveville..!!

From then on these two will take you on the ride of your life.... There is loads of the gang drama, sinister secrets and a big delicious surprise.....!!! This book can be nominated to the category of PERFECT and beat all others with just a glance.

This is my favourite of the series and Courtney Pierce just topped on my Wanna-Jump-Book-BFs list...!!!
I really don't feel like giving a big endorsement here. Let's just say if you are looking for an awesome, mind blowing, sexy, super romantic ... did I mention awesome read then PICK THIS BOOK...!!! (You should know by the caps that I am deadly serious...!! ;) :P )

This is not a stand alone book, you need to read the first two books in the series to understand all the characters and their personality.

The book starts with our leading guy Courtney describing Annabella Gage.

"If one thing stands out to you about Annabella, it will probably be the long honey-colored hair that matches her eyes exactly. It used to freak me out a little bit, but only because those eyes..well they have this way of capturing your soul."

I know this to be true because that bitch stole my heart.

Now your all probably thinking wow, what did this girl do?!

Courtney is a ladies man, he makes it no secret.

I love how a lot of this book is based on Courtney's view, so it seems like he is talking directly to you.

But deep down Courtney is a good guy, who cares about his family and his friends, he keeps himself to himself, doesn't let people get too close to him, acts like he doesn't care, a bit of a dick, but is this the real Courtney or just a facade he puts out there?

Courtney has regrets and he wishes a lot of things he could just rewind but this one of his biggest regrets which concern his cousin Wes. (Wes is a girl by the way)

"This is the one thing in my life I wish I could take back. How I left Wes alone like that. It's not an excuse, to have listened to Annabella like I did, but I did. I can't it take back. I can only make it up to Wes and for the last seven weeks, I've tried to."

This here show you a part of Courtney that he doesn't show to many people if to any one at all, it makes you think " What did he do"?

"Wes, more than anyone, deserved to be happy and no one was going to ruin that"

He goes on to explain how that might not be true, Annabella broke up with Van, Courtney broke up with whoever he was dating at the time, He didn't really keep up with the names, they were all babe to him.
He say's "I said I was a dick, so stop acting like you're surprised. I'm not proud of it, but they were literally around for one thing".

Now this probably makes you that he yeah he is a dick but at least he his honest but you still can;t help but fall a little bit in love him and his lovable rogue persona that he has.

So after Annabella destroys Courtney for the last time he finds something or should I say someone to take the pain away.

Rachel Sanders.

Now I've always thought Rachel Sanders was hot. Long brown hair, red and blonde highlights shining in the sun. Amazing brown eyes with flecks of gold and green. They look like they hold all of her secrets but you have no hope of ever finding them out.
Then you have those legs, which he can't but think of them legs wrapped around his hips or his face, it didn't matter, he wasn't picky.

Now Courtney didn't really speak to Rachel but he was noticing her now, even the was she dressed he found sexy.

She has unique sense of style, pink and skulls but it works well for her.

Things progress between them until Rachel leaves and Courtney comes to the conclusion that he thinks he always picks the wrong girls.

Annabella was a big NO SHIT and Rachel was like a really good dream, he had it for one night and in the morning it made him feel sick because it wasn't real.
He doesn't know if she meant any of it, he doesn't care, or does he?
She was there and she felt what I felt.
Annabella and Rachel.
One he wished never existed.
One he wished would just look at him one more time, like she did that night.

It seems that out poor Courtney never gets what he wants, but will things start looking up for him?

I do feel sorry for Courtney here, yes he can act a bit of a dick but he has admitted that but I think it's all an act to keep people away.

You will notice other characters come into the story who all play vital parts to Courtney and Rachel.

When Courtney goes around to Paisley's he gets greeted with "You ever feel like you can't take any more shit? Like you might blow the fuck up because everything is about to come crashing down down around you?"

And Courtney does, better than most people, and your heart reaches out to him.

Courtney's world is about to come crashing down around his shoulders "Rachel's pregnant". Wesley blurts, looking at Royal. I've got a glass of water in my hand but the second her sentence is done, I drop it on the floor. I feel all the color drain out of my face. The only thing I see in my head is the torn condom as I pull out of Rachel's wet heat."

Right here, is every guys and girls worst nightmare at time, how do you cope? You've only known this person for a couple of days, this was not what either one was expecting, to become teenage parents,

This story line will hit very real problems for people which they will be able to relate to.

When Courtney hear this it brings back old memories and re-opens old scars.

Old scars written across my heart rip open and bleed. When I was seven years old, my father beat the ever-loving shit out of me. But he did this after beating the ever-loving shit out of my mum. Mum was in hospital a lot longer than me. I just had a broken arm and a few cracked ribs. She had to have her women parts taken out, reconstructive surgery on her face and surgery to have a metal rod put in her leg where my father destroyed most of the bone.".

Your heart will break reading this and make you cry realizing that he has been carrying all this hurt and pain and guilt inside of him since he was seven years old, a baby.

I did cry for him here he feels like his to blame because he couldn't protect his mother.

So when Rachel turns up on his doorstep crying he picks her up and carry's her to his bedroom so they can talk and get to the bottom of her tears.

Courtney can't stand to see women cry "I close my eyes and grit my teeth. If there's one thing in the world I can't ignore, it's a crying female. It's one of those things I get flashbacks from.".

Courtney values family above all else in his life and that includes Rachel and the baby now.
He will do everything in his power to keep them safe.

Courtney's and Rachel's relationship progresses really well, but she gets the wrong idea about and the dreams that plague Courtney's sleep, so she ends it and runs but it slowly destroys the pair of them, they complete each and takes Rachel's grandmother to make them realize this.

Courtney say's "Everyone is broken in some way. Some are more broken than others but that doesn't mean they don't all need the same thing to be fixed".

Rachel fixed him.

They work through differences and they manage to overcome all the pain that haunts them.

"I love you because you make my world go round. I love you because you tell me how it is and you don't lay games. I love you because I want to see your face first thing in the morning and hold you close so I know you're real. I love you because no one in my life has ever made this happy".

Who doesn't swoon here and have a tear well in their eye? I did, I did!

Does their relationship withstand everything that life throws at them?
Can they overcome their fear and pain?

This book is full of pain, heartbreak, angst, guilt and love, a love that shines through everything, and shines strong.

It's not easy, it's a roller-coaster of emotions, you will be up and down, you feel the joy and sorrow, the pain and the hurt that this author has poured her heart into!

I dare you not to cry!!

Okay, who's with me? How many people out there wanted to murder Annabella? I wanted to rip her pretty little head right off her shoulders.

See this is what I mean, the author has definitely improved from the first book. I actually felt the emotion in this particular book.

And honestly for all the shit that Annabella pulled, I think she deserves to get hit by a train just like the author said.

There was so much in this book that I had to laugh my ass off about. Especially anything having to do with ASD. Nathan was adorable. When he's talking to pierce about having sex with Rachel while she's pregnant, I just about died laughing because, when I was younger before I started having babies, I had those exact same questions. And I was just as intrusive with those questions. And I didn't see a problem in asking him either. It's funny the things that we question in life, and not take into consideration people around us. It's not that people with ASD don't care what the people around them think, it's just a logical question. And we want logical answers.

So I have to say in this book I definitely identified with nathan. but I also know what Pierce and Rachel went through. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Lol. Anyway I'm going to read the next book. But that really surprised you?

"I guess my way of coping is
trying to get on top of someone else.
And if that person is
Rachel Sanders, then my ass is grass."

My thoughts flipped when I read the Epilogue of Break Me and I thought to myself 'how did that happen? They weren't at the best of terms?'. So I had to read this book.

"I don’t think I've ever seen anything this beautiful.
Rachel Sanders is lying on my bed, mostly naked,
and looking at me like I’m a fucking god."

Written in Courtney's Point of View, Save Me is the third book from Amanda Heath's novel series 'Make or Break'. This book is about the Story of Courtney and Rachel who's having an unexpected baby which caused a shock to everyone since they weren't even friends, they just started hanging out the same night they made the unexpected baby.

Courtney Pierce has a dramatic life. There was just too much going on around him and with him which I think is the reason why he is a softy. After mourning over his broken heart caused by Annabella, whom he loved since he was thirteen, he was surprised by Rachel who came over to his house just to see how miserable he is.

Rachel Sanders has this thing with Kellan from the last 2 books of this series and they had their share of perfect romance but then Kellan cheated on her, they broke up and she found herself in Courtney's room 2 days later.

Courtney is very much different than who I thought he was on the first two books. I thought he was an Ass, a jerk, a D and anything else that are synonyms of those words but as I read this book and in his perception I couldn't be more pleased as I realized who he truly is.

I like kissing her hello and goodbye. I like opening her car door
when we go out on a date, or doors for buildings
just because I can. I like having her breakfast ready when
she finally comes out of the bathroom where she’d been getting ready.
Most of all, I like holding her hand wherever we go.
But mostly I like that we are Court and Rachel.
We don’t need labels and discussions about every little thing.
We just…are.

Thank You Annabella for leaving Pierce cause he wouldn't be with Rachel then if he got more stuck with you.

"Annabella never had the power to destroy me because
I never had the real, whole, Annabella. I only had the fake bitch one.
Rachel though, if we really truly go anywhere
in this relationship, she could destroy me"

They didn’t want to get married if they didn’t want to, which was obviously what he wanted after a few days of spending time with Rachel. Because she was different, she was blunt and he liked that. And then the drama started.

“I’m the father. And before you start asking questions,
I’m going to answer them all now. No, Ma doesn’t know.
Yes, I’m going to tell her when I get back to Meadows and after you
confirm that Rachel is, in fact, pregnant. No, her parents don’t know.
Yes, I plan on being there when she tells them.
Yes, Royal punched me in the face much to the horror of your daughter.
Then he spit at my face and Paisley kicked him out of her house.
Yes, that was epic. And, no,
I will not marry her unless that’s what we both want.”

This book had too much to reveal including the main characters of the previous book and it was what caught me. I liked it. I like that there was very much more to this book than just Court and Rachel and crazy ex's. 4 Stars cause I really did liked reading this book and Courtney was so sweet he definitely deserved Rachel.

As with all the books in this series, this one had me curled up and reading it from beginning to end. Typically I wouldn’t recommend reading any book in a series as a standalone, but with this one it is completely possible. Ms. Heath writes so well that you can still get the full story, without reading the previous two. If you’ve read the full series, it’s not going to feel like a dull repeat or recap. This is also the first book in the series that has made me belt out laughing due to random lines by the characters and the co-stars.

Rachel and Pierce (AKA Courtney), are two very in depth characters. I wasn’t sure how I was going to react to this book, because while Rachel’s gossipy backside has always intrigued me, I considered Pierce to be a bit of an ass. I was worried it was going to end up in a love triangle, but let me assure you, it does not. (That’s the only spoiler you’re getting. :P )

The story opens up on a scene that explodes off the pages. (No spoilers!) You can’t help but feel all the angst, the emotion… oooh the feeeeels, not to even mention the “What are we going to do?” thrown in there. :D

Pierce is coming from a rough place, he’s just gotten his heart trampled on, ripped out and handed to him, told he wasn’t man enough and would never be man enough for the girl he fell in love with at thirteen. He has spent every moment of his life in love with her and been consumed by Annabelle. So after she drops that bombshell on him and vanishes, wrecking numerous relationships in the process, he spends the next few months picking himself up, and putting together the pieces. There is a lot of sorting to do from his perspective. He’s always been aware of Rachel, just never paid much mind too her.

Rachel is the girl that’s (to me) basically been overlooked. This girl though, is an absolute firecracker. She’s sweet, sassy, sarcastic, and awesome taste in nail designs. She doesn’t have friends unless they are her brothers, she didn’t have any close female friends until the start of senior year. Her brother is massively overprotective and runs off any guy that even looks at her sideways. So Rachel doesn’t date, doesn’t hang out. She’s always known about Pierce though, They were from two different groups in school… groups that considered each other enemies.

I would love to say that these two come together in a clash, but… they don’t. I was thoroughly amused at how they did finally come together. It’s not because they want to date, or hang out, or anything normal… no, it’s a misery loves company sort of thing. Of course they are attracted to each other, but it’s never been overt. Why would it be when he’s always been with someone else (more or less) and she’s been from a different crowd? Still though, the feels are there and the author has done a fantastic job with these two.

Both of these characters to me are a bit immature at first, but they gain maturity fast. When big things happen in life, they suck it up and become adults about it. It’s something you get to be shown as it’s developing and you feel it as you’re reading. They keep over coming hurdles with each other and all of the crazy instances life will throw at you, and keep progressing.

I would not only recommend this book to anyone who wants a good, angsty, emotional read, but the whole series. It will have you laughing out loud at was are supposed to be serious situations, and maybe even shedding a tear or two. Ms. Heath is wonderful at evoking relate-able emotion via her characters and situations she puts them in.

Save Me by Amanda Heath is the penultimate book in the Make or Break series. I would normally class this type of book as a coming of age story based on the character's age and the fact they are graduating from high school but these 'teens' are dealing with issues that I would class as already 'of age'.

If you enjoyed the previous books in this series, then you won't be let down as there's is even more drama to read about, more themes explored and we learn about a plotline that has been set up from the very first book.

Things I liked about this book...

I was waiting during Break Me to hear about the surprise pregnancy mentioned at the end of Make Me but nothing appeared. Finally, we get to read the shock announcement (which btw was a very busy and AGAIN dramatic declaration). I really liked reading about two near strangers dealing with such a life-changing development. I've read books with 'surprise pregnancy between strangers' plots before but never with teenagers. I'm their age but my life is neither that dramatic or that put together.

Things I didn't like about this book...

Channing's description of Rachel was not at all decisive. This isn't anything major but I enjoy being about to visualise characters and settings...and I'm also extremely nitpicky. I just wish there was a more definite description of her, instead of picking every trait and slapping them together.

I've always thought the chick was hot. Long brown hair, red and blonde highlights shining in the sun. Amazing brown eyes with flecks of gold and green. They look like they hold all her secrets...

I felt as though there was major slut-shaming in this book. I know Annabella isn't a nice person and did some awful things but Channing acts like she tied him down and forced him to cheat with her. FYI, she didn't, he was a consensual and willing participant.

I hope the slut never comes out of hiding

Honestly, this wasn't my favourite book in the series (Break Me just had a powerful and saddening aspect the other books just don't have) but it also wasn't my least favourite either. It's a nice read with some angst and drama.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy the surprise or unplanned pregnancy storylines, and to people who have read one or more of the previous books as it's a nice addition.

This pair wasn't what I expected but is everything they should be.
Court and Rachel are actually a great pair. I was not expecting this couple but I'm glad they came together. They complement each other. And getting to know Court's background, you really understand him better. Rachel brings out a light in him, and he is one of the only people who fully appreciates her.

I love this series. Honestly, I can't get enough. Pierce is fabulous... tough as nails on the outside yet squishy and loving on the inside. I love that he isn't afraid to go after what he wants. His patience seems unending for Rachel. Sigh, another book boyfriend for me. Courtney Pierce. A few more surprises in this book... ones I had NOT expected at all! Love it! I'll be impatiently waiting for more from Ms. Heath.

Josie's 4.5 Star Review **

*Please read the first 2 books if you haven’t already. My review will contain some spoilers since it starts off where book 2 ended.*

Amanda Heath brings us Rachel and Pierce’s story in this 3rd installment Save Me picks up where book 2 ends, with Rachel announcing a surprise.

Amanda Heath open’s up the story in the prologue, we get to see how Pierce and Rachel’s life changed one night 7 weeks ago. After Annabelle ripped Pierce’s heart out by saying the words he never thought would come out or her mouth, “I can never love a weak man like you” , Pierce found something to take the pain away, actually Rachel found him, and that is how their story and life begins. If you are a fan of the series like I am, you know that Pierce has been in love with Annabella Gage for 11 years. Annabella was his world, she was conniving, evil and self-centered, and was dating his older brother Van. Pierce finally thought he had Annabelle for himself, but like the bitch that she is, she broke his heart, leaving him.

Rachel is Channing’s sister, who we got to meet in the first book. She has long brown hair and brown eyes that hold a secret. After one night with Pierce Rachel finds out she is pregnant, but the sad part is to it all is he is the one person she knows nothing about. They didn’t really talk much before that night and things didn’t seem to change after either. However, That one night Pierce and Rachel shared more with each other and it wasn’t all about sex. Pierce was left broken hearted by Annabelle and Rachel’s boyfriend Kellan had just broken up with her. 7 weeks later, Wesley comes out and drops a bomb in front of Channing, Paisley, Kellan and Pierce that leaves them all stunned.

“Rachel’s pregnant.”

“This baby is Pierce’s. Not yours. I slept with him the night you dumped me.”

If you know anything about this series, you know there are clicks and after this announcement was made, friendships and lines were crossed. Pierce is known as an ass in this series, so his response to the situation took me by surprise. He does not want her to get rid of the baby and he wants to be there for her.

“You want me to get rid of it?”

“Are you f**king nuts? I’d never ask you to get rid of a baby. It’s not the kids fault we got into this situation.”

“I promise it’s going to be okay.”

“I know it is G. I’m going to make sure it is.”

Rachel’s parents want them to get married, but they don’t know it’s about their history and how they were only a one night stand. Pierce and Rachel decide while she is pregnant they will get to know each other and see how their relationship will evolve in the next 8 months. If they things are right then then they’ll decide if they should get married. The relationship evolves easily and it was enjoyable to read. They both had the support of each other and their friends. Pierce grew so much with the news of him becoming a father we see his protective instincts also kick in. The relationship is not a contemporary one, and things change quickly for the pair. Going form not talking and spending time together to one of exploring and getting to know each other. One thing these two did not lack was chemistry. Their sexual chemistry that was off the charts hot.

“I’m glad you wanted to be here. I like you with me, I’m gonna kiss you, then I’m gonna take this shirt off and play with these pretty nipples, after that, I’m gonna take these little shorts off and use my mouth until you can’t take anymore.”

“Please”

“No need to beg, G. You don’t ever have to beg with me, I’ll give you what you want, just ask.”

Things are not easy for the couple. Kellan is spreading rumors and he kepeps warning Rachel that Pierce is wrong for her. And of course we have Annabelle (the stuck a b****) that all of sudden pops up to cause trouble too. Let the drama begin.

“You can’t love her! She got pregnant on purpose, can’t you see that?

“She didn’t get pregnant on purpose, you idiot."

"She probably tampered with it, I refuse to belief that you love that skank. You love me; you’ve always loved me. You can only love me.”

Pierce and Rachel’s relationship are amazing together. Even though there are bumps in the road their relationship felt like it progressed naturally. They reall felt like were meant to be. They offer each other the support, unconditional love and they both bring out the good in each other. They fight to makes things work and build a future for themselves and their family. I really loved this book, it showed a side of Pierce I did not see before and I can honestly say I fell in love him. This is a fast read but it is intense. Secrets will be revealed and relationships will begin and others will end. The next book is going to be Victor and Ashley’s story, and it sounds like it is going to be hot and angst filled. Bring it Amanda Heath. I can’t wait for Victor and his dirty mouth!

This was the best of the series. Court is perfectly imperfect. It’s always the little things that matter. And those little things add up 😍.

Wonderful, emotional, and perfection.

I wonder how can Amanda Heath pull this one off. He was in love with another girl since he was thirteen – and she was with another man.

I had a love-hate relationship with these two characters during the first books in the series. Mostly with Courtney. In the first few chapters – I torn between pitying him, being sorry for him and give him a – you-so-deserve-this! Because he wasn’t really a nice guy, all because of his love (or most probably obsession) with Annabella Gage. His world revolved around this girl for eleven years, and despite the fact that she was dating his brother, he couldn’t let her go. He thought he would finally have her, he was almost sure she loves him – until Annabella broke his entire world.

But Annabella was as confusing as much as irritating and frustrating. She has some secrets that she’d do anything to protect. She’d manipulate, lie, deceive, broke anyone’s heart. Yes, a little bit complicated, and a little bit crazy. Imagine my happiness when she finally gets out of Pierce’s life.

Imagine my surprise on how the second book ended, and to find out that it was all PIERCE written all over it. Yay! But hey! I was glad too! I mean anyone but that girl!!!

Hmmm.., So Rachel – he’ll get a bruise or two from Royal, that’s for sure. And maybe some words from Wes. But what I wanted to know most is what he will do after he’s been slammed with the news. How would he react? Would he want it? Would he not want it?

This Courtney Pierce in Save Me had surprised me. Indeed, he just needed a breather from Annabelle to be different person. I know he can so do much better, and he can be a good person if not for her whispering on his ears. He was blinded by love for so long. And Rachel? This girl is just pure amazing! She’s sweet, but can be feisty, and she’s perfect for him. She accepts him as he is, and didn’t push him to do things he wouldn’t. Now, he was starting a new life with Rachel. Something even I didn’t see coming, but looking at them, they were just so good together. I couldn’t even question his devotion. Thirteen years with Annabella – then suddenly Rachel? There was something about Rachel that made him feel so much more. She made him happy. She made him feel loved. And despite the fact that I didn’t really like this guy, I was really, really happy for him. Because seeing this other side of Courtney Pierce made me love him so.

But hormones, dark secrets, and the nightmares that kept on haunting her drove them apart. It’s up to him, and well, the rest of those meddling friends of theirs to patch things up. Their pride didn’t help – they needed to be shove, pushed for them to finally see reason. And just as they are about to march down to their HEA, someone came to burst their bubbles, need to say who? But I was so proud of Pierce at this moment - he really did a 180 in this novel. Rachel truly loved him, because despite what happened, despite all the secrets he kept, she stayed with him.

Not only you will fall in love with the characters, but the gripping twists and turns of this novel with have you hooked in no time. The secrets you'd be dying to know, not to mention, you'd be wondering how will this all end. Nevertheless, Amanda Heath gave you one amazing ride that you will enjoy with your hearts dropping to your stomachs, but the thrill will be all worth it!

This was my unexpected. This was a bit complicated. But this was my favorite so far in the series. I think this series keeps on getting better and better each time a new book is out, and once you are done with this, you will surely crave for the next book.

Save Me is book 3 in the Make or Break series. While it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first two books because all of the characters from the previous books play a part in Save Me. The first chapter can be kind of confusing if you dont have previous knowledge of the characters. With that being said, Save Me is Rachel and Pierce's (Courtney) story.

Since finishing Break Me, I have been anxiously awaiting Pierce's story and let me tell you...Amanda did not disappoint. I knew it was going to be good but i wasn't prepared for the wave of emotions that rolled through me while reading this.

Courtney Pierce has been in love with Annabella for most of his life. We would do anything for her, and proved that point over and over again with his actions. In Save Me we get a deeper look into why Pierce is the way is his with Annabella...what happened between them that led to their relationship being what it was from Pierce's eyes. But she turned out to be a psycho with who broke his heart.

When Rachel found out that she was cheated on by her boyfriend Kellan, they broke up and she showed up at Pierce's house seeking comfort in someone who was hurting like she was. That comfort turned into something physical instead of emotional.

""I don’t think I've ever seen anything this beautiful. Rachel Sanders is lying on my bed, mostly naked,
and looking at me like I’m a fucking god."
.

. This all comes as a shock to their friends considering that Rachel and Pierce weren't even friends. I loved that Pierce stepped up to the plate and did what was right, something that you don't often see right a way in books . I enjoyed watching Rachel and Pierce come to terms with their situation and decide how to handle it like mature adults.

This story is told from Pierce's POV which really adds to the emotional element of the story. He really is quite the softy, but he has experienced too much heartache for his young age. My heart broke for him over and over. I wanted, no needed for him to get the HEA that he deserved. And he found it with Rachel, who is the perfect girl for him.

"Annabella never had the power to destroy me because I never had the real, whole, Annabella. I only had the fake bitch one. Rachel though, if we really truly go anywhere in this relationship, she could destroy me"

She is a spitfire with a take no sh*t kinda attitude. I would have liked to see a little more of them "falling in love" though. The supporting characters add a lot to the story as well. The author has the ability to make you feel as if the characters are real, and you are right there with them on their journey. This book was both sweet and sexy, with the perfect amount of angst and drama thrown in the mix. I love all of these characters and I am anxious to see what Amanda has in store for us next!

5 STAR THOUGHTS

Every book in this series is AMAZING! Each story is unique and original and I can't get enough!! Save Me is just as awesome as the first two books in this series! I am a HUGE Amanda Heath fan! I love Rachel & Pierce's love story! We pick up right where Break Me left us. But we get to learn some back story as to how everything occurred leading up to that day's excitement.

"I told that bitch I loved her and she said she could never love a weak man like me." ~Pierce

Courtney Pierce has loved Annabella his whole life. She was there for him when he had no one else to turn too. But she has secrets that she will protect at all costs. And because of that she has destroyed Pierce and broke his heart.

Rachel Sanders is beautiful and one night when she is upset, she turns to Pierce. They are both broken and looking for nothing serious. What they didn't expect was to have an amazing night full of passion. Afterwards they agree to keep it just what it is, one night they couldn't resist. But fate has other plans…

"Oh my fucking god," she blurts, staring wide-eyed at me. "Please, for the love of everything that's holy, tell me you didn't, Courtney Wentworth Pierce!" ~Wesley

Once everyone has come to terms with how the future is going to be, Pierce and Rachel's relationship surprises everyone because it is so easy. They are so good together and it makes them both better because of it. (I LOVE THEM TOGETHER!!!!) Pierce never knew a relationship could be so easy going, because it was never like that with Annabella. Pierce and Rachel connect and are very protective of each other.

"Don't say it like that, you mother fucker! Pierce is, and will forever be, a better person than you are!" ~Rachel

They also have AMAZING chemistry and can't seem to keep their hands off each other. And their terms of endearment for each other melts my heart! I LOVE THEM!

"Please…" she trails off, lying down on the bed, pulling me with her. "No need to beg, G. You don't ever have to beg with me. I'll give you what you want, just ask," I say, my lips moving back to her lips.

Every good love story has twists and turns. Pierce never wants to taint beautiful Rachel with his dark secrets. . . and all Rachel wants is to be able to support him like he does for her. Will Pierce confide in Rachel? Will Rachel still be around when he decides to tell her? Or will their story end before it really ever begins? Who will save who?

"You made me, you broke me, now you're going to fucking save me." ~Pierce

I read this book in one day! I couldn't put it down! I don't know if I have a favorite in this series, because although they share characters they are each unique in their own way. I love Amanda Heath and can't wait for what she has in store for us next! Her writing is amazing and her story lines are even better! Definitely a must read!
