Lacy Collins has always been known as the wild-child. With her confidence, sex appeal, and flirty personality, she was loved and adored by everyone who knew her. She never met anyone who challenged her. That is until she met Drake Raven, leader of the Twisted Kingdom Motorcycle Clubhouse.
Drake Raven is the oldest of the elusive Raven brothers. Known as the angry, brooding brother, most people were afraid to even approach this bearded biker. Well, everyone except for Lacy.
After the pair are introduced, when Lacy’s best friend Ivy begins dating Axel Raven, neither can ignore the heat brewing between them. Now, as their relationship evolves into a steamy and sultry affair, the pair believes they can withstand anything that comes their way.
But, this pair may have to test that strength as a new villain emerges. Ready and willing to take down the Raven’s at any cost, someone is out to end the Raven’s for good. Hearts will get burned and loyalty will be tested in this exciting next venture for the Raven Brothers.
A longtime escapist into books, M.A. Lee began writing cozy mysteries and romances when other sources of that gold ran out. The gold nuggets of Mary Stewart, Georgette Heyer, Andre Norton, Phyllis A. Whitney, and Elizabeth Peters inspired her to write her own nuggets, even if they're only pyrite.
Look for the Into Death series, set after World War I, and the other books in the Hearts in Hazard series.
Favorite Books of all Time: Mary Stewart's My Brother Michael. Mary Stewart's This Rough Magic. Georgette Heyer's Venetia. Ellis Peters' The Virgin in Ice. Andre Norton's Year of the Unicorn
Authors that I will recommend beyond the influences and the favorites: Dorothy L. Sayers. Tony Hillerman. Tamara Leigh. Patricia Briggs. Lindsay Buroker. Linnea Sinclair. W.R. Gingell. Agatha Christie. C.J. Cherryh.
This is a difficult review to write because I really wanted to like this book but didn’t. The good things about this book: the premise is cool (a family MC run by brothers) and the main characters were likable and had a strong connection. I liked when they were planning their future home. What wasn’t so great: the execution of the world building just didn’t live up to the premise. The members of the MC except for the brothers, a cousin, and a mysterious associate who had a silver gun… they served as nameless cannon fodder for the final confrontation. There is no indication even as to how many there are. The cousin and the associate have no personality shown. Even the brothers don’t show their personalities; you only know what they and their ladies are like from the other books. I felt that there was a real missed opportunity for good side characters. The MC was more of a name check than a real presence. And I was unimpressed by most of the sexytime. The last couple of chapters were poorly written and the hero had TSTL syndrome. It wasn’t a horrible book, but it wasn’t good.
Though happy that Drake and Lacy get their happily ever after, the books in this series borrow a lot from each other, literally half pages as a character takes a walk down memory lane. It would be better if the author summarized. There is something about the flow of the storyline in Drake that is off, and Lacy's stunt made no sense. Not even the most naive person would have done what she did. Also, with the explosive tempers these guys have, they need anger management. It may be the author's way of showing their alpha maleness, but it just comes off as a bunch of intensely angry dudes.
The book is a a quick read with drama, steamy romance, a little action. If you are looking for the traditional MC romance, the Twisted Kingdom series is not it.

Drake is the third book in the Twisted Kingdom series. It tells the story of Lacy Collins and Drake Raven. He is the oldest of the Raven brothers and the leader of the Twisted Kingdom MC, which they all belong to. Lacy is a crazy fun young woman who gets herself into trouble more than she should. She also always has people gravitate towards her because of how much fun she is. But that does not include Drake when they meet at the clubhouse for the first time. They may have more than a sparking chemistry but when it ignites, which you know it is going to, will it burn them down or make then brighter?
Drake does not like outsiders, non club members, but Ryder brings a man to meet Drake. The stranger says he ships heavy machinery and a few of his trucks have been robbed. He wants to pay the Twisted Kingdom guys a huge sum of money to escort one of his trucks. Oddly enough, Drake wants to buy land and needs money. They finally agree and take the long run to San Antonio. When the truck is opened he finds out that the man lied and the drivers inform Drake that he has opened the club up to future thru blackmail. Will Drake and the brothers break free from this drug dealer?
Drake and Lacy. Hes the oldest Raven brother. He loves Lacy and will do anything for her even going against his better judgment and take a job to get his dream for her. In doing so hes put everyone in danger when he learns hes been tricked by a darkness from their past. Now he has to fix it before everyone is lost. Hope that Storm and Aspen get a story. Also thought only 4 brother Blaze, Axel, Ryder and Drake but now Storm?? This story has so much love and chaos I couldnt put it down.

Unfortunately for Lacy and Drake, their somewhat peaceful path in their relationship gets rough. While the sparks between them still burn hot, the club is endangered by someone wanting it to all to come crashing down. This story was intriguing as Drake goes against his own better judgment. It was a great read.

💞💖💞 Drake and Lacy💞💖💞 Drake is the oldest brother and has had to raise his brothers. When he and Lacy met, sparks flew. This is a great book by M.A. Lee that continues a series that is a fun MC read. I definitely recommend the book, series and author!.

Drake and Lacy had been in a relationship for over a year, and their passion still burns hot, but a new enemy emerges threatening all the club and their very being, will they make it through the tough times ahead? Engaging, fast paced, action and more
I found this book an absolute struggle. Drake the sensible one suddenly making unsafe decisions over a dream parcel of land. Errors drive me crazy btw. Drake goes up to his apartment to find Ivy sprawled on the couch, ah excuse me, he’s with Lacy.
Loved Drake and Lacey in this story. I loved the danger and chaos of the villain. The connection him and Lacy had. This was the perfect mix of tension and steaminess. I loved Drake being a smart minded guy. But I feel like he lost focus on that plot of land. Overall, I really enjoyed this story.
