Oklahoma, 1989. Chris always wanted his mundane life to pick up in excitement. But after getting kicked out of school, an opportunity arises. His aunt and uncle requested him to watch their house in the quaint neighborhood of Ruby Falls for a week. Excited about the change in scenery, he gladly accepts.
However, it doesn't even take but a night to realize something is off about the entire neighborhood. And as the days pass, Chris begins to find the interworkings of a horrific conspiracy. Absolutely love this book! The twists as the book went on kept the pages turning. I love how Chris uses sarcasm and humor even in tense situations, it allows for a smile while finding out his fate. The ending has me hoping there will be more to this story!!
