Hope for a Season: Everyday Liturgy for the Weary and the Ordinary

Rate this book
Do Monday mornings feel as daunting to God as they do to you?

Does that smile on your face hide your insecurities and loneliness? Jesus is not going anywhere. He is with us on our best days and our worst. He gives us a foothold when those Monday morning mountains seem insurmountable.

Written with Bowell's trademark humor and authenticity, this 90-day devotional is packed with insight and encouragement from his four decades of ministry. Hope for a Season is about the courage of honest faith. A faith that helps us to see when we can't see. Honest faith will ask, "Can someone tell me that I'm not alone in my mess-ups or my make-up?"

Hope for a Season is catalytic for life in every season. It reminds us through story and scripture that we’re not fighting our battles alone. If you’re looking for a new rhythm to sustain you for the journey ahead, Hope for a Season is for you. You don’t have to be exact in your theology or perfect in your methodology before Jesus shows up. If you’re feeling weary or just plain ordinary, there is hope. Jesus is still with us after we say, “Amen.”
