This series just gets more and more hilarious, the banter between the characters is just brilliant, a great love, hate relationship between the companions, but they would do anything for each other, especially when there in trouble, this one was an awesome story with Nath Dragon along with his friends, Brenwar, Ben and Bayzog just to name a few, the evil Queen Selene and her hordes of draykis, lizard men, satyrs, orcs, evil dragons are hunting down the returned Nath Dragon from his 20 year sleep, traps of all sorts finally seem to be working and one changling, Gorlee, is going to be a fly in the ointment, this book, as far as I'm concerned, is the best of the series so far, it continues to leave a big smile on your, my new favourite character is Ben the Human, he continues scrape through the battles, when he should be dead already, a cracking read for all the ages, especially if you love high fantasy, Lee Alan continues to do a fabulous job with the narration, highly recommend.....😁🐲⚔🪓

Siege At The Settlements - Book 6 - The Chronicles of Dragon

This was a great story with Nath Dragon along with his friends, Brenwar, Ben and Bayzog just to name a few. The evil Queen Selene and her hordes of draykis, lizard men, satyrs, orcs, evil dragons etc are hunting down the returned Nath Dragon from his 25 year sleep. Traps of all sorts finally seem to be working and one changling, Gorlee, is going to be a fly in the ointment! This book, as far as I'm concerned, is the best of the series so far. The ramblings in the previous books has almost stopped. I finally enjoyed this book. Now on to book 7.

My 14 year old has been listening to this series and has really been enjoying them a lot. He did say that he thought this was a fun one but a bit slower without as much of the normal amount of action and fighting. This book was primarily them hunting/questing for the Floating City. These have been very clean with their own made up curse words like "Great Goozon!" The violence hasn't been overly graphic and the romance has been minimal. These are great for the older elementary and middle school readers on up.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The chronicles of dragon
Format: audiobook
Narrator: Lee Alan
This narrator has a good voice, easy to listen to and good delivery. He suits this series.

Bk 6: Siege at the Settlements
Nath and his group continue on their quest to seek out the evil in charge of the Clerics of Barnabus, freeing towns and villages as they go but the clerics now know of Naths return and the efforts to capture and turn him increases.
There’s a repeated section in this audio, (where Nath challenges the grey scale)

It is unfortunate that Goodreads does not list the omnibus for that is how I read these as one large book. So that is how I will be offering my feelings of this series.

First of I will say that book one is obviously a novella. Having said that it does what it was intending to do and that is introduce you to this marvelous world the Craig has made and an idea of what was wrong with it.

I had read in some of the other critiques that these books were meant for young adults I honestly enjoyed them. The plot was complex. The growth of the main character could go one way or the other through then entire book and you never knew which way. The fighting was well played out with not the good guy always winning but a flicker of hope still remained. For a teen this book is an excellent coming of age book to read. And even for adults, I see no reason why we cannot not enjoy the depth and growth within, for we are always charged with this type of charge every day in our lives.

I have enjoyed each and every one of these book and glad that I got them all at once and it is my hope that for any age you will find the courage that I found through these pages.

Evil takes a dragon

Evil takes a dragon

Nath though wounded continues his quest . Even with evil trying to consume him from the inside out.
The author paints some of his most vivid pictures yet with his writing.
