This was a cute InstaLove!
Falling for her newest client, let alone having a one-night stand with him, wasn't on LaKendra’s bingo card, but Jaelon’s card has this all along! The cat-and-mouse game between these two was interesting because I understand Lakendra not wanting to ruin her career while also not wanting to let go of a love that feels good. Jaelon was on Lakendra from day one and wasn't letting up for anyone. He would make her his no matter who said what, including his family. They get to their hea but not without scrutiny and outside factors, making the read enjoyable seeing them overcome. This story moves fast, and I believe the instalove plays a considerable role in that. This was my first read by this author, and I'm interested in reading more!

Loved it!😍😍
From the beginning I was invested in Jaelon and Lakendra’s story. I loved how he was not coming up off her. He showed her that he was a totally different person than people though. I absolutely loved the dynamic between the families, and friendships.
I would recommend this book, and can’t wait to see what this author gives us next.

This is a new to me author, who’s work I’ve seen on IG. While this began promising, over time it fell flat. I didn’t hate it, but I also didn’t love it.

Big Homie did His Big Thing
Man did I enjoy this book! It hit real hard and Jaelon proved to LaKendra at every turn she couldn't stop what Big Homie had already put in motion. Jaelon may have been younger than her but this man knew exactly what he wanted when it came to his Juicy and that was ALL OF HER! She knew what people thought of him, his reputation because she was his agent, but not everything you read is true. Did he have a history? Yes. Was it as bad as people made it? No. Everyone has their own perception and if there's a platform to propagate that perception then their going to do just that. Y'all this was a love story that unfolded throughout the entire book, but I also loved that the author didn't take away the actual sports part of the story which I believe made me get into even more. I'm glad Juicy put her fears away and let that man love her. Jaelon reading Monae Nicole to the baby took me out though! Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Really enjoyed this. Quarterback and sports manager. A one night stand that changed everything in the best way. Regardless of Jaelon’s past tendencies, he was very intentional with LeKendra. Minimal drama. No third act breakup. I would recommend.

Overall this was a warm and fuzzy feel good sports romance. I gave it 3.5 stars cus the plot was good and for the most part well executed.
Now where she lost a stars was with LeKendra, one the name is a mess lmao and I know that’s petty but it don’t even roll off the tongue well. It’s not a name I like repeating and re—reading in my mind. I started the story off really liking miss girl but with every passing chapter from her POV she lost me. By the end of it I was happy for sis but she was annoying, slightly judgmental and scary. Like we get the mention of her age which is 31 so I expect her to move with sense and maturity and she lacked both. Like one you crossed the professional boundary by your own choice, either stand firm on what you said or be quiet about it. Like 90%of the book is her making up excuses for her lack of professionalism while trying to keep Jaelon under wraps because she doesn’t want to be looked at weird. Like YOU 31, you a boss, you been getting to the bag and securing deals. While yes in any male dominated industry you gonna face a certain level of scrutiny, but to allow the opinions of anyone who isn’t seeing you in the office or the bank have you scared to be loved out loud is CHILDISH af to me. Like I get being guarded but if in every other chapter you bussing it wide I don’t wanna hear about the weak excuses. Also after the first baby please don’t Act shocked by the following babies like please girl.
Next up she talked a lot of mess about his past and how he was a hoe but not once asked him for test results OR A CONDOM… yet she’s shocked to find a baby in her belly and had the nerve to be crying. Like this the actions I expect of a character 5-10 years her junior not a grown ass woman. She lacked accountability throughout the story and it was exhausting. Then her comments about how he referenced God, yet from that point on she’s using his lingo just gave childish to me. Like if you feel like the lord isn’t being respected why would you join in on the disrespect? She gave selfish throughout the book. While I love a man worshipping his woman I feel like in order for it to be true romance the energy gotta be matched. Jae was rubbing feet and cankles miss girl was just rubbing meat. Like the no sex while pregnant I get cus it’s not all it’s cracked up to be but you can’t even offer a lil neck nothing just big lol there and needy. Same lady ain’t even wanna drink water for the baby she was carrying like PLEASE MISS AUTHOR turn her back into someone we can like.
My other issue was the Brely situation, like I get that as an author you gotta tie the loose ends up but if you gonna end them abruptly without delving into some of the work to resolve it PLEASE LEAVE IT OUT . Like sister was crazy and all we got was she’s in an institution they upped her prescription and now she’s cool and happy for the man she cracked like a coconut??? Like GIRL BFFR, that was a lil lazy to me and could’ve been excluded from the story.
As a whole the story was good but it felt like the FMC got to be immature and scary with no real backlash. While we had to read about all the shortcomings of our MMC. Like I hate rooting for a man but LeKenndra really lacked all the good qualities she possessed in the first chapter.

The In’s
I’ve read other books by Ms. Baxter in which I related too & enjoyed the characters. However, this book was a challenge. It had the potential to be much better until LeKendra decided to revert back to an indecisive, inconsistent & an insecure college freshman fan girl crushing on the popular campus QB🥴🤦🏾♀️. Okay, her initial encounter with Jaelon was not planned (not the first nor the last)🤷🏾♀️. Nevertheless, you’re a grown woman, (supposed to be) a professional & the encounter between her a Jaelon was a choice and mutual consent‼️ Gurlllll, coy ain’t cute🙄‼️Own it, discuss it and move on (expletive)! Oh no, that would be entirely too logical 😮💨‼️ Why does this chick continue an intimate relationship with a professional QB (knowing this man’s history, the tabloid rumors and the sports industry gossip mill) but yet is simultaneously concerned about appearances & opinions of others? WITAH🥴⁉️You have go to be kidding me….I have zero patience for stupidity, willful ignorance while expecting different results‼️Unfortunately, although I enjoyed the premise of “Love’s Justified Audible” LeKendra’s insecurities character was exhausting and spoiled the HEA. The in’s (inconsistent, indecisive & insecurity) warranted the rating of (3.75 ⭐️’s).

Jaelon and LaKendra!!
If a book is instant 1-Click worthy, this one is certainly it. Jaelon and LaKendra's relationship just made me happy to read about. This story was so well-written that I couldn't put it down. Jaelon and LaKendra had good chemistry, they vibed well together and the passion was burning hot. Jaelon knew who he wanted and what he wanted because he loved himself some Juicy and didn't play about her. LaKendra was a little slower on the uptake because she was worrying about the wrong things, but she finally got on the same bandwagon with Jaelon. I loved how the author included their thoughts so we would know what they were thinking in the moment. I also loved Jaelon's slick mouth. He had me sooo tickled with some of the things coming out of his mouth. 🤣 I can't wait to see if some of the other characters will get their own books as well. If you love a good sports romance with minimal drama, this book is definitely for you.

Whewwweee Chile, this book right here! This is one of those books that you know is going to keep you in a chokehold until it's finished. Jaelon and Lakendra met and had what was supposed to be one night of untold pleasure. But "Big Homie," as Jaelon calls him, had something else in store for these two. And what a journey it was to get to their HEA!
This book had me in my feelings and called a few people everything but the child of God. And deservedly so! I loved how protective, loving, and real Jaelon is with Juicy. I love a man who isn't afraid to show express his feelings in every way possible. I was soooo glad when Juicy finally got out of her own way. She kept blocking her blessing at every turn until finally she woke up and realized what an amazing man she had right in front of her. This book is a definite must-read. You will not be disappointed.

Age , Just A Number
This was such a feel good story for me. Jaelon pursued who he wanted and didn't give up, although he exhibited patience. On the other hand, LeKendra had her doubts but eventually gave him a chance. She was definitely impressed with Jaeon's maturity, based on his 5 year Jr. age to her.
She had to be cautious because they had crossed the line and mixed business with pleasure.
There was a pleasant hiccup along the way, which both were happy about. He showed LeKendra he was all in and not to believe everything in the gossip blogs. Baby, he came for her hard!
Loved the main characters, their parents, and sub characters. Great read with minimal major drama, from a family ex.

Kendra, the boss, and Jaelon, the man..
I ate this book up! I can officially say I'm a sports romance lover now. One night leads to a lifetime of love. I can appreciate how Jaelon tried to prove to Kendra that he wasn't who the media portrayed him to be. He reassured her constantly that she was it for him. Although she wanted to keep it under wraps that they were together because of her position. I do think she kept it on the low too long. How many more ways can he prove to her who he was. They both had solid circles that were genuinely happy for them. This was a cute read.

I love me a good sports romance and this one did not disappoint. I loved that Jaelon was all about LeKendra from the beginning and he was not coming up off her for nothing or no one. LeKendra took a moment to accept their fate together and allowing him to love her publicly but Jaelon showed patience with her at every turn and never tried to force her hand at making their relationship public. I enjoyed seeing these two get to their happily ever after and would definitely recommend this story.

I loved Jaelon’s energy
I really enjoyed this story. I loved the way that Jaelon showed LeKendra that he wanted her and only her. He didn’t let anyone or anything come in between them, not even her own doubts. This was a well written story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. My only question is why wasn’t Derien one of his groomsmen? They were said to be Bestfriend’s as well as having the agent-client relationship. So it was a bit strange that he wouldn’t be mentioned during the wedding. Overall, this was a good read that I would recommend to others.

LeKendra and Jaelon connected one night out and for him he knew who she was but fell hard. It took her a minute, but through everything they encountered they conquered in the end they found true love and happiness! Jaelon was willing to risk it all because he knew she was his destiny. Brely was coo coo and she was never it for him even on the wedding day she reached out to him! Crazy heffa! Great read Riley Baxter, I loved it!

Talk about pressure
I slept on this book because the title didn’t make sense to me until I looked up the audible meaning then it all made sense (football term) and Jaelon change the game he pursued Kendra with purpose showing up with his actions and Kendra made sure he worked for it when she let that guard down it was no stopping them now the little drama that Brely caused just got her a padded cell for a minute…this was a great read little drama and lots of spice

Love’s Justified Audible
Jaelon & LaKendra were something else. I understood her position but she overthought the ENTIRE relationship almost. Jae was very patient with Kendra even when she was indirectly disrespectful. I loved how he had game loses & this wasn’t a “perfect I found my good luck charm” This was a great read!

Jaelon and Lakendra story was well written and had my whole heart invested. I loved Jaelon relentless pursuit for Lakendra and her slight hesitancy in giving in to him. Some transitions left me asking how someone responded to a situation but I couldn't put this down until I was finished.

Great Read!!
Great read excellent storyline and the only thing missing to me was a description of the characters. That way, I could have a feel for them. As I said, though a great read, and storyline. I love the way Jae didn't take no for an answer from LeKendria and how she finally allowed herself to let go and love.

Good not Great
I enjoyed the funny romance. I felt parts were rushed which is not the norm for Riley Baxter. I loved her Bellamy Brothers series the parts with Gavyn and Sharae in this book didn’t feel right. I feel like Derien was left out in the end. Some parts did mesh, but it was still good.

Jaelon and LeKendra, Love on the Field
I loved Jaelon and LeKendra, such a beautiful love story!!!...I love how Jaelon never felt he needed to defend his character or argue about what others had to say about him!!!...
LeKendra wanted that D in privacy, but Jaelon dropped them seeds off and she had to live out in public!!!...

Love’s Justified Audible was absolutely a wonderful story. This was a cute cat and mouse novel. LeKendra was not trying to give Jaelon a chance, but in the end I’m happy they were able to find a happy medium. Jaelon’s mouth was absolutely crazy funny. Riley you did an amazing job with this story. It would be nice to have a little more.

Jaelyon & LaKendra!!! I liked this story, 50/50. I liked Jaelyon. He was funny and into his Juicy. LaKendra comes off as immature in parts. I liked her, but the things she made into issues weren't issues. The flow is great

lovable
I must be really into loving. This was very beautiful. Of course LeKendra did het on my nerves a bit but Jaelon got her right and the story ended up being so loveable. The characters all fit and gave rhe story a full meaning.

Beautiful Love Story
This author never misses. She did her big one with this. I felt the love and sincerity jump right off the page. I also understood LeKendra’s hesitancy but through it all God (Big Homie) had the final say. Beautifully written and an absolute must read.

I love the fact that Jaelon knew that he wanted LeKendra even through he knew who she was. LeKendra let his past and what people would think. I’m glad she got over it. Brely was delusional and so was her parents.
