Intelligent, fierce, determined, and beautifully flawed, each Locke sister is headed to the altar. Or is she?
An overwhelmed Autumn has yet to set a date, much to the frustration of Quincy, who's ready to tie down the only woman who owns his heart even if Autumn doesn't quite believe it.
Juggling motherhood, grad school, and loving a traditional man like Chad, Winter struggles to find herself before she loses herself. But what does that mean for the couple who seems to have it all?
Spring never imagined loving a man as deeply as she loves Miles. She wants to give him whatever he desires, except she may never be able to give him what he truly wants—his own child.
After promising her cowboy, Maverick, that she won't ever keep another secret from him, Summer may be holding on to her biggest secret. Will their relationship last once the truth is revealed?
Each couple has to decide once and for all if they have what it takes to withstand any storm on their way to happily ever after.
**This is the final story in the A Love for All Seasons Series. Although you can read it as a standalone, it is best enjoyed after reading the previous stories.**
Damn, Tiye!! I was not anticipating getting my emotions dragged through a buttonhole tonight. 🥹 The Locke sisters came through for each other as they always do, but their roads to matrimony were rocky as hell! The actions of Mr. and Mrs. Locke still play such important roles in how their daughters receive love from men, and how they behave in their relationships.
Autumn or Baby Bear was still holding it down, going to school, and helping with Logan, while Quincy did him. I like Quincy for Autumn, but at times he was selfish and wanted things his way. Autumn was torn as she didn't know if she could marry this man, when she couldn't fully trust him. Her parents' actions impacted her the most and she was at a constant crossroads in her relationship. When Quincy broke down and told Autumn about an incident, I knew that was it.
Winter, the Locke sister that was forced to grow up quick, was always seen as boring and responsible. Now being engaged, and a mother, she doesn't know who Winter is anymore. That fact is bringing her down, and she wants to find herself again. When a fellow student is flirty with her, I was like Winter be careful with that girl, cause Chad ain't no punk! 😂 She too has residual relationship issues due to her parents. Chad loves her to death, but will he wait on her forever?
Summer has finally found her groove with Maverick, but now she is holding onto another secret. Girl, you shoulda had enough with the secrets by now huh?? 👀 After revealing to Maverick what was up, and he didn't have the negative response that she anticipated, her happiness resumed for a while. Now the issue is Bella.
Bella was going through it trying to find some normalcy again in her life, after all that she had learned, and more news just keeps on coming. Will she take it all in stride, or will it consume her?
Miss Spring Locke's story almost took me out. I love her and Miles, but the guilt that she felt from her past actions, were now taking over her life. She was allowing the feelings of others to overshadow what she and Miles were building. Not sassy, free-spirited Spring! Poor Miles had dealt with so much in his life, due to his mother's absence and feeling less than. With the way that Spring was moving, he was sure that she would abandon him too. That therapy session with Spring and Bella had me in a chokehold. 💔 Then Spring makes an announcement in front of others regarding her life with Miles, without his knowledge, and it breaks him down. This can't be it for them, right? He is devastated! 🥹
At this point Tiye, I ain't think nobody was getting married. The waters were muddied, feelings were hurt, mistakes made, and indecision had all the couples on the brink of disaster. But then you do what you do and made everything alright in the world again. I'm going to miss the sisters; however, this was a great series. 👍🏾👍🏾
I love the Locke sisters. They each had their own identity. They weren't complicated women, but they made their lives complicated. So much went on in this story with them. I was beginning to wonder if any of them would make it to the altar.
However, they had strong, fierce, and loving men. Men who would go to the end of the earth for them. I don't have a favorite sister, but I was partial to Winter, because I'm an educator, and she was pursuing a higher degree in our area. I loved Chad. He was my favorite man who thought outside of the box. Crazy idea, but it worked.
I was excited to read this story she I first saw it was coming out because I have enjoyed reading about the season sisters since Autumn’s book was released several years ago, but this one didn’t quite give me what I expected after reading the most recent update. I went into this story thinking that the author would wrap up these couples getting their happily ever after with their marriage in a pretty little bow, and I didn’t get that. This book took me through it and had me wanting to stop reading so many times because it was filled with drama. These sisters all needed to be in therapy to resolve their issues. They all seemed to always want to consider the others before their mates in making decisions to their detriment at time and they all would listen to respond instead of to hear and understand what was being said. They were quick to clap back and in a manner that was meant to hurt the other person and I didn’t like that. This first half of the book felt like there was not much growth with the sisters from previous books since the same issues were recurring, but they eventually got it together. I say all that to say, this was a nice update on the Locke sisters, but if you are looking for a story that is not filled with drama and gets straight to the point (the wedding and happily ever after), this story will not give that to you and will instead take you on a journey that may have you looking at the sisters like they’re crazy.
My favorite couple out of this story was Winter and Chad because while they had issues, they tended to handle their issues like adults and not necessarily say things to intentionally hurt each other. They had to have some hard conversations, but that made things much better for them in the end. I also loved that their friendship was a highlight and felt it helped them with resolving their issues because they knew each other as friends before they became lovers and had a family together.
My least favorite sisters were Autumn and Spring because they always seemed to say things without thinking them through and when they receive a response they didn’t like, they were quick to respond to hurt the other person. It took some time in this story to see their growth by the end and seeing them interact with their mates in this story, made me not want to finish this story at times because they had me frustrated with them.
This is definitely a story to read and form your own opinions because someone else may love the way everything played out in this story. 3.5/5 stars
Is what the author owes me after wrapping up this series in a manner that was unpredictable, heartwarming, surprising and simply beautiful! While in a somewhat unexpected manner at times, I got exactly what I needed to gain closure and send the Locke sisters on their way with no regrets and hope for only good things to come! I really enjoyed this series and I'll miss this special family that grew in love and numbers by the time we reached the end!
Good read. The Locke sisters and their men were such memorable characters that years later I still understood whT they acted the way they did. Autumn & Quincy didn’t seem ready for marriage. She has real reasons to lack trust. Over the years the bonds built and families forged amongst the couples, kept them all together!
The Locke sisters are back in this final installment of the Love For all Seasons series. Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer have each found love and now the next step is matrimony, but not all roads leading to the altar will be smooth. Each sister faces some challenge with their pending relationships from being overwhelmed, to wondering what if there is more out there and finally learning to let past issues go and trust the man meant for them.
I enjoyed this final installment with the Locke sisters, even though there were times I wanted to reach through the pages and grab a couple of the sisters to shake some sense into them. Tiye does a good job with crafting how the actions of the Locke parents still had an impact on the sisters in a different way. They each had to learn to open their heart to trust and embrace the love from their intended mates. I loved the bond between Quincy, Chad, Miles & Maverick. Overall, good read and fitting end to the series.
Well dang Papa Bear Locke, almost twenty years later (if not longer🧐) yet the residual trauma & insecurity from his departure was/is still prevalent in all of the Locke women …& their mates endure the pressures & pangs too😮💨🤦🏾♀️.
Meanwhile, we’ve finally crossed the proverbial matrimonial finish line for the fifth time. Yeah, (DJ, que the music) 🎶 ”We are family. I got all my sisters with me…”🎶circa 01.1979’ 🤭🤩‼️There plenty to celebrate with this dysfunctional clan…husbands, son in laws, babies, graduation, family bonds & trust in relationships etc.🤭‼️Nonetheless, congratulations again to all of the newlyweds 🥰, “The Wedding Season: A Love For All Seasons” Book 7 & series was an adventurous journey 🤭😊🤷🏾♀️‼️
This is a captivating book that weaves together love, ambition, sisterhood and the often tumultuous journey toward commitment. What I loved most is how each sister had their own story and individual quests to the altar.
These fierce sisters are beautifully flawed, which allowed me to connect with them on a personal level. The Wedding Season is not just about tying the knot; it’s about discovering what love truly means amidst life’s ups and downs. This is a perfect fall read for anyone who loves love and the ebbs and flows that comes with it.
Tiye, you did your BIG ONE with this one. I felt every emotion possible. The Locke sisters and family has a whole, have me locked in.
The men you have for them are unquestionably perfect. I think my favorite sister will always be Spring.
I love the sacrifices made and the vulnerability that makes us each of the relationships. Bella and Karisma being able to see adults in growth and maturity, with unconditional love warms my heart
I highly recommend everyone reading this story. It's layered, authentic and vulnerable.
Each sister different in their own way but the love they have for each other and their family is never ending! Spring and Miles, Autumn and Quincy, Summer and Maverick and Winter and Chad each had their own problems and insecurities to work through but love helped them see that they had each other always! A great read! When truth, trust, and love is the foundation you can make it through anything! A great read!
Loved the continued journeys for the Locke sisters in their HEAs. Spring and Autumn stressed me out the most and enjoyed watching Winter and Summer get where they needed to be as well as watching the realistic transition with Bella. Great ending to a beloved family’s next chapter!
I was waiting for the Locke Sisters to get married and you didn't disappoint me. I loved how they had to figure out how to communicate with their partners and how the sisters always have each others back even when they argue. I recommend that you read the entire series you won't be disappointed.
Another great read about the Locke sisters who are different it’s a emotional roller coaster as they navigate through they relationship that ultimately lead them to the altar or don’t loved every thing about the Locke sisters and they men.
This story was so touching. The family really stuck together with all they went through. The couples were amazing and the bond between the sisters and their boyfriends was untouchable. Thank you Tiye for another amazing story.
This was a great book. When I say great romance their is question. The characters were exceptional in the parts they played. Trauma when are young affect you later in life.
I love anything that includes the Locke sisters. The Wedding season did not disappoint. Autumn and Quincy are my favorite and I was on edge on how their story would end. Each sister received the ending that was perfect for them.
