Holy one-handed read. I went into this expecting zero plot. But I’m honestly as invested in the brothers’ story as the smut.

Vallie is a Tiktok influencer who loves dark romance and all the spicy book boyfriends. But her influencing has lured in some dangerous men. She has joked about wanting a masked man to kidnap her and her book dream has just became a reality.

She finds two sexy psychos in her house, One completely masked and the other so unhinged he forgets his mask. They do have their reasons for kidnapping her but in the mean time they plan to have their way with her. Donnie is rough, rude af, and he is just a total BRUTE. He has one mission throughout this novella and I had just about solidified my hate for him but he does redeem himself towards the end.

Listen 🫣 I don’t know if you can describe a lunatic as cute and adorable but that’s just what Tyler was. I loved him, He has demons from a terrible traumatic past but he was just so hard not to love. I cant wait to meet Dexter and see where this story will continue from here.

This book was really easy to read in one day and it wasn’t even that bad. My personal favorite was Tyler like Donnie is so idk bad I’m mean how he treats her but Tyler is sweet and understandable. The thing I didn’t really understand is why she always told herself that she was getting raped. Because she liked it and didn’t stop them and I don’t really think that you can call that raping. But yeah all in one it was pretty good😊

Not for me unfortunately the spice was hot but the plot was all over the place . This girl who is a booktoker is on this jury and the brother who is on trial his brother's kinda kidnap her Tyler I felt for cause you can tell there had been some abuse the other brother idk how to feel about him .

It’s filthy, unhinged, and unapologetically extra. If you’re looking for something sweet… keep scrolling (I mean, there are moments… sorta). But if you’re here for a wild ride—buckle up, pup. 🐶💀📚

ARC read..where do I start couldn't put it down everyone loves a obsessed psycho who will do literally anything for their loved one and a psycho cinnamon roll. You got a beautiful curvy yet fierce woman who just loves to influence others by reading, now throw in some very hot and steamy aggressive sexy time and you have a big bang of a story.. I need more I can't wait to meet the character the whole reason for everything has come to be what's his story? What really happened? Is it really all true? So many questions.

You will instantly love Tyler and all his demons. Donnie just wants to protect his family by any means even at the cost of saying goodbye to the one girl he's been obsessed with. Vallie is so much stronger than she will ever realize and gives in to her darkest desires.

I was so excited when Nicci announced she would be writing a new Black Label book called Curvy 13.

There was nothing disappointing about this book.
In addition to spice, we have social media, brothers, desires, spice, and spice.

TikTok influencer Vallie is known for her booktok videos about spicy books and her love for book boyfriends.

After finding a masked stranger in her room, Vallie's book boyfriend dreams turn into nightmares, and she can't decide if what's happening is heaven or her worst nightmare.
Donnie and Tyler are every dark romance fan's dream 🤣🤣🤣

Short and Sexy

Vallie is a booktoker who loves all dark romance. She’s home and the next thing she knows is there is a man with a mask and her nightmare starts. Then his brother who is slightly insane but sweet is there too. Can she get out of this before Stockholm syndrome starts ? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. Love Vallie and her captors. This book has a lot of spice and a good story. Check your trigger warnings and ends on a cliffhanger. Book two is coming in November.

Holy cow!

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this book, especially with how it started. But I SOOOOO did! And here, Nicci said this was going to be more spice than plot. But I think the plot was spot on!

Vallie is a juror on a kidnapping trial against Dexter. Only, his brothers want her to help turn the jury toward a not guilty verdict. In order to persuade her, they sort of kidnap her but don't. They kind of hold her hostage in her own home but not really. But they use her in ways that make her dark romance addiction fantasies come to life.

But there's a twist at the end that you won't see coming. And now I can't wait for the next book to come out.

I was really excited when I saw Nicci Harris posting about this novella on Instagram. This was a fun, steamy, and dark novella. I had a great time with this and couldn't put it down.

Donnie and his brother, Tyler, are holding a booktoker captive while she is in their other brother's jury. They both are so different, but they both want sex from this curvy heroine.

I think I loved Tyler the most, even though he was pretty crazy.

Please make sure to check your triggers and just know there is noncon and dubcon throughout this novella.

It does leave off on a cliffhanger, but the second book is currently available.

Was it hot and wrong? Yes.
Would I get the next book with all three brothers? Probably not, but this story has the appropriate base work for you to choose to continue to book 2.

Donnie was basically an asshole, Dexter's case, above all else is giving me the creeps and that's what makes me reluctant to even consider a book two and Tyler was the loveable psycho.

I love all the information they picked off of TikTok, just because of how people overshare/fan-girl/interact on social media. It was unnervingly accurate.

The cover doesn't really do the book justice. Dub-con/rape-stockholm syndrome.

Oh.My.God. This book is so deliciously dark and I ate it right up! That little HFN/Cliffy wasn’t too bad but it still left me wanting more! I need book two! I can’t wait for more of these men and what's to come in their future!

Vallie found herself in the middle of one of her dark romance books! Lucky lucky her! 🤣 A booktoker curvy heroine, a masked hero, a deranged, slightly unhinged cinnamon-roll hero, stalkers and kidnappers and insta love or shall we say obsession! I literally loved everything about this! This is what fantasies are made of! It’s a must read from me!

While the spice grabs you right away the plot unfolds as you indulge, and I loved every bit of it! I fell for both these men - so maybe just include me in the Stockholm Syndrome

Tyler broke my heart and even though he is a complete lunatic, I absolutely adored him and Donnie 🥵 he owns who he is and there’s nothing he won’t do to get it.

Spicy quick read, but oh so freaking good! Mind your triggers!

I was NOT expecting that.

Curvy 13 was mesmerizing. I absolutely was not ready for how much I would enjoy this book.

It’s way more than what I thought I would be getting going into this. Way more. I will be counting down the minutes until I am able to start Curvy Forever. That cliffhanger did me in.

I can’t wait to see what Nicci has up her sleeve for the next part of this brilliant story. 😍

Broken Therapist reviews...

For one of the most unhinged stalker romance novels it also hits the feels hard- like this absolute bar of a line "“No? I know your soul. And your vulnerability. What is more important than those?”". Don't get me wrong, these brothers are pretty darn morally dark dark grey, but the hurt and trauma and love for each other is so so good. The therapist in me wanted to swoop in and save them and be them all so bad.... which is a testament to how well Nicci balances spice and dark pain so well.

"Everyone falls in love at first sight, but most are just too fucking fake to see it. Too rational. Too obedient to social formulas, norms, and conventions. Love isn’t a formula. Love isn’t sheet music. It isn’t play and rest, go and stop. It’s freestyle.
