On the run from the law, Mayhem seeks refuge in a new city. But what he soon discovers is that New Orleans' hustlers are even grimier than the dudes he left dead in Atlanta. Lines are crossed; friends turn into bitter rivals and the only certainty in Mayhem's life is death and bloodshed until he stumbles upon Keedy, a diamond in the hood. When they meet, it's true love at first sight—hood style. But the price they must pay to be together could be death. Mayhem fears nothing. Keedy has nothing to lose. All they have is each other as death closes in on them, threatening to obliterate their epic love. Will they succumb to the laws or their enemies? Or will true love and their always handy guns be their shield?

I have had this book on my kindle since it dropped. Had i read it then, I might have been turned off from ever reading anything else that Ca$h has written. He is an author i had enjoyed yrs ago but this one makes me want to spin the block and read everything he has on my kindle now lol

Mayhem is on the run from Atlanta for murder. He left behind his daughter and mother and headed to New Orleans where his boy Tank promises to help him out. Tank has a girlfriend Tweety whom he lives with along with there daughter but he convinces his side chick Keedy to let Mayhem stay at her house. Literally the mayhem that follows is crazy! A beautiful love story filled with trauma, drama, and torture is what its left on these pages. Note if you're one who is easily triggered this book is not for you

A young girl is violated in the worst way. Instead of sympathy, compassion and support, she is thrown away to ravenous wolves by the very ones who should have protected and adored her. Instead, of praise she is labeled as trash. Wounded beyond repair, she went from one person to another looking for love in the arms of every man who expressed interest in her and believing the lies that they told her. Each time hoping he would be the answer to her prayers. That is until she encountered Tank, a man who promised her the world and ended up being the worst in a long line of abusers. Tank evoked a fear in Keedy so strong, it often rendered her immobile, as he sought his thrills in throwing his weight around, always trying to come up with worse ways to inflict pain on this sweet young lady.

Mayhem is a man on the run from a violent past knowing he’s living on borrowed time. There is so little he has to live for and doesn’t fear dying, but the love he has for his child, makes him go in hiding to protect her from the aftermath of his choices. Hooking up with a guy he knew from back in the day seemed like the ideal situation as it gave him a place to lay his head and a moment to chart his next course. But Tank and Mayhem were two very different types of men. Mayhem did what he had to do to survive, Tank preyed on the weak and would sell his soul for a come up. Then trouble hit and Mayhem found himself having to watch his back from every angle.

They say that love comes when you least expect it and not always at an opportune time. Two unlikely souls found each other and though the love they shared went against all the rules, it was not to be denied. Loving him was a gamble with so much at risk, but she had nothing to lose. Against all odds, they paired up vowing to give their love all they had for whatever amount of time the fates would allow.

Til My Casket Drops is a deeply emotional read that fuses the truth of street life with the love that can exist between two people. Cash brilliantly paints a complete picture of a girl who never had a chance, showing how one incident can lead to many false attempts aimed at finding the real thing. Someone others would have written off as trash, he beautifully shows her multi-faceted person and we love her. Mayhem is not a bad person, he’s just a person with a past and whose tender heart captured this reader and wouldn’t let go. Not everyone who does bad things is a bad person, sometimes they just don’t know how to get out of the life they’ve been handed and find a better way. I felt a whole range of emotions with this story and had tears pouring down my face by the end of it. Long after I’d finished the story, it’s many messages continued to stay with me. I am limited to a 5 star rating, but would give it so much more if I could.

Mayhem and Keedy

This was a true Bonnie and Clyde type read. Mayhem did everything in his power to keep Keedy happy. He looked beyond her tumultuous past and say the true gem that she was. He gave her back her self esteem and her life, after Tank tried to destroy her. I'm glad that Tank got what he deserved. I cried at that ending. I hate the way that it ended, but I'm glad that it ended in a true Bonnie and Clyde fashion. Great job with this one Ca$h.

I kept hearing about this competition by two authors and never got around to reading it eventhough I had purchased it. I heard so much about it, that I gifted a couple of people the book without even reading it because of the hype. I must say, I thought it was cool AF that two authors came together and thought to do this. I can't get my hands on Aaron Bebo's copy so I read the one that I could get my hands on.
But anyways... I was all into this book yo. Mayhem was beast frfr, dude carried no punk in his blood. Seeing his moms lose her life at the hands of a man made him a force to be reckoned with. When Mayhem's friend thought he could get away with crossing him, that was one of the biggest mistakes of his life. You never take chances of crossing a dude like Mayhem when you are fully aware of his caliber.
Mayhem left Atlanta because of the brewing storm and headed to N. O. He had no idea that this storm would be much bigger there.
Out of all the snakes, A'nyah disgusted me the most. I had no remorse or sad feelings about her outcome🤷🏿‍♀️.
It took Keedy sometime to come around, but when she did...
Bae-by (in my N. O. voice) babygirl was a stallion!
Dream should get the cat she deserves, a nothing ass nihh. She's so simple and ratchet 🤦🏾‍♀️
I honestly thought I would not get the same feelings that many got out of this book when they read it 6 years ago. That is so far from the truth because this book was dope AF!

I listened to this book on audible. The story centered around Mayhem and his life of bloodshed and destruction. I didn't get the sense that there was any real direction to his story. He killed indiscriminately, fell in love with an associate's girlfriend who was being abused. The author did a good job of creating chemistry between the two and moving the story forward. What was distracting was the narration and audio add-ins i.e. loud gunfire. The narration was good except when voicing different characters. I can honestly say if I had read this story I may have given the story a different rating.

Awesome read!

I simply could not put this book down. Every free moment I had I was in this book longing to see what would happen next. If I could I would rate higher than 5 stars. This was my first book by this author but, definitely not my last. Mayhem was my favorite character throughout the entire book. I loved his thug passion minus his line of work. I was truly amazed a male author would have a male character with Mayhem's traits. He was a gentle, respectful, patient and loving thug. Awesome job Ca$h! I look forward to reading many more of your books.

What a sad ending

Man this book had it all jeaiousy, snakes, abuse and heartfelt. Mayhem was truly a thug that lived and died by his gun. Kerry had a rough life but Mayhem showed how what love felt like bc he lived her unconditional. She couldn't live without him so she chose to die by his side. Tank was a snake and abuser he got what he deserved.

Mr. Cash, what more can I say? Growing up in the 504 was very scary and after reading your latest masterpiece I felt like I was still riding through the rough city of New Orleans. Every place that you name was right on target, from the second lines Uptown to riding through the rough neighborhood of the Lower Nineth Ward to the W Hotel in Canal Place. Also, you mention all of the remarkable food that New Orleans is known for; a job well done. I don't know if you ever lived here but you know the ins and out of this scary city.
Another amazing story line; I fell in love with the characters. Congrats Mr. Cash, you never seems to disappoint! Now please hurry up and complete Thugs Cry 3; I have been waiting for a year!

Omg!!!!

This book was everything. I got so caught up in the story that I felt as if I knew Mayhem and Keedy. Hell I wanted to know them...lol. Despite the crimes that laid in their path I wanted there love to continue. I swear I did not want their story to end, but all good things comes to an end. Yet the ending was so powerful and heart felt, I was cheering them on in the midst of their criminal behaviors. This book tells a beautiful hood story and honestly it is one of the best I have read in a while. Kudos that my city New Orleans was a major highlight in the story

I knew when I started this by the end of the book I would be cry. I know the authors writing style and I knew he would give us bloodshed and that he did. This was a great book. I loved the way he showed Keedy that she was worthy. That she was beautiful that she was strong and powerful. He really brought life back into her. Keedy and Mayhem were two lost souls coming together and finding a purpose to love and live another day. I felt so connected to them. Definitely two characters that will be etched into my memory until my casket drops. Ha ha 🤣
