This was an unconventional story that puts into perspective the ugliness of human nature. We fear what we do not understand and persecute those that are different from us.

This was definitely not what I had expected. The romance was extremely limited and the one s sex scene wasn't even between the ending couple. It was ugly. You don't know what happens or how they get together.

Sometimes you want to believe the best in humanity but when faced with how widespread the prejudices of today still are, it is sometimes hard to do. Still yet, this novella ends on a hopeful note and that makes a difference.

This story had potential, but I felt cheated. If a book is labelled as romance there are certain elements that should be included, And that’s sad because the author created a world I wouldn’t mind returning to.
