If you could give yourself a different life, would you?

Noelle Parker hasn’t returned to her hometown in 30 years. Now her mother is dying, and Noelle needs an escape from the mess her life has become. Once she's home, she can no longer make herself forget what happened her senior year of high school. She, her twin brother Nick and their friends Ian and Jessica traveled 30 years into the future using Nick’s car and the bridge across the Missouri River. Their adventure led to Nick and Jessica’s deaths.

Noelle is now at the other end of that bridge to the future, and she’s recently inherited Nick’s old car. She and Ian decide to return to 1993 to save Nick and Jessica. When Noelle meets her younger self, she realizes she needs saving as much as the others do. Unfortunately, convincing an angry teenager her life is worth living is even harder than time travel.

What a fantastic story! The way time travel is used in this book is unique! The characters are all so real, sometimes it hurts to read them because they're just that relatable. I love the title -- it's perfect for this story on many levels. I just got sucked into this story so fast and had a hard time putting the book down. Burnett hints at plot events and twists, but the reader never has to wait a painfully long time for them to be revealed, which is why I think I got sucked in so fast. I just had to know what was going to happen next! This is a great summer read!

Amazing book. Sad that it’s self published, very hopeful to see a publisher pick it up for more exposure. I could even see this one become a great movie!
