This was cute but I don't know something was kind of missing for me. I think I was hoping it would be a little more fun and spicy but it felt like there was a lot of talking and surprising sadness surrounding both of their dead parents, which fair that is something people think about around the holidays but it just didn't really land for me. It felt almost like it was a way to force feelings between them so it made sense for them to be in love by the end of this novella...but I don't think it needed that. I don't know. Overall, I did enjoy it.

Also, and I'm sure this isn't the author's fault since this is part of a bigger collection, but I HATE the cover... Like the guy looks kinda creepy/cringey to me and that girl is NOT the same character described in the book. She's not curvy at all! I need cover designers to stop using straight sized models for books that have plus size characters.

This was a cute, short, very sweet, spicy Christmas read! Devoured it. This was very well written and if you’re looking for a quick Christmas read with some spice, this is for you! You won’t be disappointed. I like how it was taking place in England. I liked that the author showed representation of anxiety & trauma. I loved Briggs! I loved how Briggs & Ren fell for one another so quickly. I loved how Briggs took care of her & showed her not all men are the same. It’s the little things that count! This story delivered a feel good Christmas vibe & that’s exactly what I got reading this. I love any novellas that have to do with Christmas!

christmasy lovely novella

I love a christmasy novella and this one was perfect.

Ren was brave and funny.

Briggs was sweet and caring.

I loved their connection and how thoughtful Briggs was with Ren and their Christmas time situation.

This was cute and quick — the instant love was cute and done well.

Cute quick read

This is definitely a short novella, but it was cute. Not too much of anything: a little plot, a little spice, a little bit of character personalities. I did enjoy it, but short novellas like this are becoming less of my thing.

Spicy Holiday Novella

This was a fun and spicy holiday novella. I read this rather quickly and loved the setting of this one. The FMC and MMC were very enjoyable. I will definitely read more by Dana!
