This book is a must-read for any woman interested in empowering their career from someone who has successfully carved their path in the business world.
I found the story told by the writer Tiffany Rosik very important and very interesting. It's hard to believe that, even in the 21st century, we continue to see cases of discrimination against women in companies. While it's true that some paradigms have already been broken, it is clear that many others remain to be overcome. I was particularly struck by the stories the author shares about the many difficulties women still face and must overcome. I believe this book is not only important for women but perhaps even more so for men, who are often the ones responsible for creating these barriers and perpetuating the differences between men and women. We still have much to learn.
As we all know, working and running a house is not an easy task. Women have many demands, but we can still do everything. Author Rosik, CEO of TGR Management Consulting, shares with us everything we need to know to thrive in the workplace. Chapter after chapter, this book is a before and after for all women who want to succeed in the workplace, from how to negotiate better salaries, to how to handle certain situations that we experience every day. A book without a doubt for modern, hard-working women who want to progress in their work and life fields, since I believe that this author's advice can be applied in other areas of life.
I was very captivated by this story from beginning to end. From the very beginning, I was really drawn to the idea that if we live in a modern world, we still see issues of discrimination against women. Although this has been reduced, it is also true that we still have a discrimination gap that we have to reduce and that is key in this book. I really liked that the author shared stories of each of these women who overcome themselves day by day. I consider that this book is very important for women but even more so for those men who perhaps have not changed their mentality to more inclusive thoughts.
I found this book by Tiffany Rosik to be of great help. I thought that I was the only one going through this type of problem, but I now know that I am not. All along the pages, I could feel identified by each story. In my opinion, there are many aspects of the working environment that should be revised and set again. I see that there are many women facing everyday unfair challenges at work every day. I felt really comfortable while reading, I believe this is thanks to the language chosen by the author. She managed to build up a book that truly touches women’s minds. I will recommend it for sure. I strongly believe it can help many many women.
That's Not the Help I Need is a bold and empowering guide. It feels like having a candid conversation with a mentor who truly understands the struggles women face in the workplace. I loved how the book encourages confidence and self-advocacy. It’s not just about surviving at work, it’s about thriving. I also liked the author's tone which is supportive and motivating. Recommended!
