3.5 “Here’s to the Night” “I want it enough” “…it wasn’t even the same fucking sport.” “One shot” “Bruce” Kisses
You cannot tell me five of the hottest authors I have ever read are putting together an anthology and expect me not to go fangirl crazy. This is like giving my eyeballs an orgasmic dream come true! I have loved all of these authors separately but I was just giddy over the prospect of what they could do when the combined their forces of delicious goodness…they’re like the Smut Superhero Avengers…here to make us swoon and drool. Mission accomplished ladies…mission very well accomplished.
One Starry Night
There are two things I have come to expect from Olivia Cunning…amazing characters that I instantly fall in love with…and hot-mind-blowing-melt-your-brain-with-amazingness sex. One Starry Night did not disappoint on all fronts. I loved more than anything in the world the Sinners connection, because…it wouldn’t be an O.C. book without one…but I loved the premise period.
So what happens when you take a former cheerleader who was afraid to go against the popular kids and mix her with her old high school bad boy flame (the one that blew her mind but she kept behind closed doors…or under bleachers, whichever works)…and then add a dash of the former geeky kid that everyone made fun of who grew up into the smoking hot über rich dude that everyone wants to bone? Awesome…that’s what you get…a whole lot of awesome. I liked it…it was different…and it kinda felt like Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion meets…well…a really awesome porno. Michelle Tanner is given every girls dream…Jake Tremaine and Devlin McAllister…and she enjoyed the hell out of both of them!
At first I was a little conflicted cause…I really liked Jake but Devlin was just hitting all my happy places and I didn’t wanna choose, so I sure as shit didn’t want Michelle to have to choose…and thus the greatness of Olivia comes into play – don’t choose, have both! Win-Win and I’m a happy little book worm. God bless America, I didn’t know you could pack that many orgasms into so few pages…but, she did it, she rocked it and I couldn’t get enough of it.
If anything, that’s the one drawback to novellas…I always want more period, so like novellas are the thing I love to hate. It’s enough to pull me in, hook me and then it’s over and I don’t wanna get off the party bus. It’s quick…it’s sexy…maximum hotness, no angst and I was left smiling (and praying for more later).
Boots Optional
Well damn it if Nicole Edwards can’t write these spot on amazing Texas men that just blow my mind. I drool every time...I just can't help myself. She continuously creates these incredibly engaging characters that are emotional…sensual…commanding…powerful...sexy – it’s a heady and addictive combination. Boots Optional is the kick off to The Dead Heat Ranch Series…of course, based in Texas (where all good cowboys come from) and man…this is going to be a good one, I can tell already.
I love that this series is about sisters and while BO is focused on Gracie…we get to meet all 5 of the Lambert sisters. Abigail Grace Lambert is…a good girl and a hard worker…but all work and no play makes Gracie a stick in the mud – one that Grant has been trying to cut loose for years. All it took was a little extra effort from Lane to peel away those layers and…click…everything just feel into place. Like a perfect puzzle, these three just work…but damn it was torture getting there.
Nicole likes to angst me, I’ll give her that – but I’ve always like her specific angsty torture…she knows how to squeeze the heart just right but man, the sweet sexy goodness I was rewarded with once the torment was over - H.O.T.N.E.S.S! Boots on or off, I don’t give a hoot – any way you slice it, the sex was fabulous. I need to look into making a trip to a dude ranch…pronto!

Cherrie Cherrie Cherrie…now that’s how you write a novella. Damn! It started off with a little intrigue, pulled me in with emotion and angst, more than satisfied me with some sinfully delicious sex and then finished me off with a wonderful HEA. I loved it. It had everything I look for in a full length novel, just condensed…and it totally worked for me.
Meredith Taylor and Cameron Moore…the little sister and the brothers best friend – it’s a story that has been told before but I could listen to it time and time again. I love the tension, the withholding of feelings, the fear of rejection, wondering if he’ll ever stop seeing her as a ‘kid’…there isn’t a whole lot about it that I don’t love…and Cherrie Lynn wrote Meri and Cam brilliantly. I loved them both…even with the way it starts off and what brings them together – usually that’s not my style, but…for whatever reason, I liked it.
I really can’t get over how much I loved this novella...I think it had a lot to do with Meri because I did connect a lot with her. The story is told from both Cam and Meredith’s POV’s, alternating chapters, but it was good…it worked. Of course I adored every delicious inch of Cam…and I couldn’t get over his feelings for Meredith…*sigh*…it just made him that much more perfect. And Good God the two of them were blissfully sexy…addictively passionate…mouthwateringly sensual…I was in lust with the two of them. All that pent up time and longing did them good IMO…they set the pages on fire! (and I loved it!)
Shameless was hot, sexy and packed a punch – a quick little story to set your kindle on fire, melt your heart (and your panties) and leave a satisfied little book worm in its wake. Perfect!

How??? How does she do it every mother loving time??? I don’t get it….I don’t know if I want to get it…I just want Kristen Proby to keep doing it! She successfully renders me into this pile of loving mush and I can’t get enough of it. The characters…the sexiness…the magical way I just fall into their world…it’s like a blissful little bit of paradise.
Alright…so one hot and sexy firefighter is enough to get me to surrender all my wits, but two equally delicious, yet equally different firefighters…and I just gave into the awesomeness. Gray McDermitt and Kevin Welling…Bailey Whitworth never stood a chance. She tried to put up a fight….and her logic is sound – the decision to choose is too tough…but why pick one over the other when you don’t have to? Hello…where’s the fun in that! God, Kristen knows how to write these insanely sexy alpha men to a fuckin T! They’re brilliant…passionate…charismatic…kind…sensual…just – perfect!
That’s what got me…of course I loved Bailey, I always love Kristen’s heroines, but Kevin and Gray are just divineness wrapped in sex and dipped in lust – and I couldn't help but adore them. I loved how different they were…Kevin is fun and playful and doesn’t hold back while Gray is calm and serious and more reserved. There is no way to choose between the two, it’s impossible, but that’s the brilliance of this book…you get the best of both worlds.
They doubled my pleasure and my fun (and Bailey’s too) – I also loved the With Me In Seattle series reference…that was a nice touch, very subtle but I appreciated it. I enjoyed the alternating POV’s…it was nice and changed up the pace – definitely kept you wondering whose head you might be in next, but it was never confusing…just fun. The angst was limited, mostly just down to the good stuff…lots of hot-n-sexy good stuff. Of course my favorite part was the ending…sweet, endearing and fabulous ending to Bailey, Gray and Kevin. Love! <3
Guarding Nadia
Way to end with a bang! Guarding Nadia had something that none of the other books had…something that set it apart – suspense! And considering the word count, Lainey packed as much as she could into it without sparing the steam I have come to expect from her writing. It was intense…it was seductive…and good lord have mercy it was sexy as fuck.
Two Dom’s plus One Erotica Writer = a freaking amazing idea! Nadia was a perfect blend of sensual and submissive while still having a sweet and kind personality…she was easy to connect with. Plus, the fact that she was a writer made her that much closer to my heart. Caleb and Jonas…oh my delicious and sexy alpha Doms…they do make the world go round. While Caleb and Jonas have a lot in common…the striking differences of what set them apart are what I liked most. Caleb is ‘Mr. Serious’…all business and usually with the calmer head while Jonas is more casual and leads with his heart.
Was the relationship that formed between these three fast? Yes…it was – but it was a whirlwind of perfect timing, high emotions and intense sexual chemistry and for all the right reasons, I got it. I would have liked a little bit more BDSM…but the BDSM we are given is creative and a little bit of change of pace from the norm – so points for Ms. Reese on that. Everything about Nadia, Caleb and Jonas was electric and powerful…and that especially came through in their sex scenes…oh-em-gee and be ready for the amazing sex scenes. Just…yum!
So just when you think the ending is going to be safe and sound after all that tension…Lainey gets ya. I really thought she was going to leave me hanging…which made me a little sad, but I should know better by now. Fabulous ending to a delicious sensual novella.

Way to end with a bang! Guarding Nadia had something that none of the other books had…something that set it apart – suspense! And considering the word count, Lainey packed as much as she could into it without sparing the steam I have come to expect from her writing. It was intense…it was seductive…and good lord have mercy it was sexy as fuck.

Two Dom’s plus One Erotica Writer = a freaking amazing idea! Nadia was a perfect blend of sensual and submissive while still having a sweet and kind personality…she was easy to connect with. Plus, the fact that she was a writer made her that much closer to my heart. Caleb and Jonas…oh my delicious and sexy alpha Doms…they do make the world go round. While Caleb and Jonas have a lot in common…the striking differences of what set them apart are what I liked most. Caleb is ‘Mr. Serious’…all business and usually with the calmer head while Jonas is more casual and leads with his heart.

Blimey that was scorching.
Although each story was short, they didn't skimp on strong, sexy characters and there was a plot of sorts in between all the bumping and grinding that kept me reading avidly.
All but one of these are menage stories, and mmf menage at that. Is that what everyone's doing now? How did I miss out? What's more, the guys in this tidied, cleaned, cooked and didn't suffer from morning breath. After reading that I feel a little short-changed with just the one hub...
Not for the faint hearted reader, this was really explicit and deliciously rude. No complaints here of course but you have been warned.

You cannot tell me five of the hottest authors I have ever read are putting together an anthology and expect me not to go fangirl crazy. This is like giving my eyeballs an orgasmic dream come true! I have loved all of these authors separately but I was just giddy over the prospect of what they could do when the combined their forces of delicious goodness…they’re like the Smut Superhero Avengers…here to make us swoon and drool. Mission accomplished ladies…mission very well accomplished.

There are two things I have come to expect from Olivia Cunning…amazing characters that I instantly fall in love with…and hot-mind-blowing-melt-your-brain-with-amazingness sex. One Starry Night did not disappoint on all fronts. I loved more than anything in the world the Sinners connection, because…it wouldn’t be an O.C. book without one…but I loved the premise period.
So what happens when you take a former cheerleader who was afraid to go against the popular kids and mix her with her old high school bad boy flame (the one that blew her mind but she kept behind closed doors…or under bleachers, whichever works)…and then add a dash of the former geeky kid that everyone made fun of who grew up into the smoking hot über rich dude that everyone wants to bone? Awesome…that’s what you get…a whole lot of awesome. I liked it…it was different…and it kinda felt like Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion meets…well…a really awesome porno. Michelle Tanner is given every girls dream…Jake Tremaine and Devlin McAllister…and she enjoyed the hell out of both of them!
At first I was a little conflicted cause…I really liked Jake but Devlin was just hitting all my happy places and I didn’t wanna choose, so I sure as shit didn’t want Michelle to have to choose…and thus the greatness of Olivia comes into play – don’t choose, have both! Win-Win and I’m a happy little book worm. God bless America, I didn’t know you could pack that many orgasms into so few pages…but, she did it, she rocked it and I couldn’t get enough of it.
If anything, that’s the one drawback to novellas…I always want more period, so like novellas are the thing I love to hate. It’s enough to pull me in, hook me and then it’s over and I don’t wanna get off the party bus. It’s quick…it’s sexy…maximum hotness, no angst and I was left smiling (and praying for more later).
Boots Optional
Well damn it if Nicole Edwards can’t write these spot on amazing Texas men that just blow my mind. I drool every time...I just can't help myself. She continuously creates these incredibly engaging characters that are emotional…sensual…commanding…powerful...sexy – it’s a heady and addictive combination. Boots Optional is the kick off to The Dead Heat Ranch Series…of course, based in Texas (where all good cowboys come from) and man…this is going to be a good one, I can tell already.
I love that this series is about sisters and while BO is focused on Gracie…we get to meet all 5 of the Lambert sisters. Abigail Grace Lambert is…a good girl and a hard worker…but all work and no play makes Gracie a stick in the mud – one that Grant has been trying to cut loose for years. All it took was a little extra effort from Lane to peel away those layers and…click…everything just feel into place. Like a perfect puzzle, these three just work…but damn it was torture getting there.
Nicole likes to angst me, I’ll give her that – but I’ve always like her specific angsty torture…she knows how to squeeze the heart just right but man, the sweet sexy goodness I was rewarded with once the torment was over - H.O.T.N.E.S.S! Boots on or off, I don’t give a hoot – any way you slice it, the sex was fabulous. I need to look into making a trip to a dude ranch…pronto!

Cherrie Cherrie Cherrie…now that’s how you write a novella. Damn! It started off with a little intrigue, pulled me in with emotion and angst, more than satisfied me with some sinfully delicious sex and then finished me off with a wonderful HEA. I loved it. It had everything I look for in a full length novel, just condensed…and it totally worked for me.
Meredith Taylor and Cameron Moore…the little sister and the brothers best friend – it’s a story that has been told before but I could listen to it time and time again. I love the tension, the withholding of feelings, the fear of rejection, wondering if he’ll ever stop seeing her as a ‘kid’…there isn’t a whole lot about it that I don’t love…and Cherrie Lynn wrote Meri and Cam brilliantly. I loved them both…even with the way it starts off and what brings them together – usually that’s not my style, but…for whatever reason, I liked it.
I really can’t get over how much I loved this novella...I think it had a lot to do with Meri because I did connect a lot with her. The story is told from both Cam and Meredith’s POV’s, alternating chapters, but it was good…it worked. Of course I adored every delicious inch of Cam…and I couldn’t get over his feelings for Meredith…*sigh*…it just made him that much more perfect. And Good God the two of them were blissfully sexy…addictively passionate…mouthwateringly sensual…I was in lust with the two of them. All that pent up time and longing did them good IMO…they set the pages on fire! (and I loved it!)
Shameless was hot, sexy and packed a punch – a quick little story to set your kindle on fire, melt your heart (and your panties) and leave a satisfied little book worm in its wake. Perfect!

Two of these five authors are on my auto-buy list (Olivia Cunning and Nicole Edwards) and I've also read and enjoyed some of Lainey Reese's novels, so buying this anthology really was a no brainer. It is a fantastic collection of stories and I am glad to have spent time in their respective worlds.

Devlin not so secretly wanted Michelle in high school. They all meet up at their 10 year reunion and sparks fly. Devlin is no longer the awkward, geeky boy, but a very successful and gorgeous man and Jake is a roadie for Sinners. Michelle is very hot for both of them, and as it turns out, they are both hot for her and each other. What transpires is a night of incendiary sex and off the charts chemistry. I needed to turn down the thermostat while reading!

I liked this story, but the timeline went a bit too quickly for me to be able to suspend my disbelief. Going from acquaintances to living together and dropping the L word over the space of two days? I don't buy that. The story was hot, though.
Guarding Nadia, by Lainey Reese -- 4 Stars
Though a novella, it didn't really have the novella feel to it. Nadia is a BDSM romance writer who has picked up a stalker. With the police not really being as helpful as they probably should be, she needs protection. Caleb and Jonas are not only security professionals, they are also Doms and they both have taking rather a liking to Nadia, who is a submissive, even though she doesn't know it. An enjoyable story.

Happy to say that this book totally lived up to its cover! Scorching hot. Although I would have liked a bit more variety in the stories. My favorite was Olivia Cunning's, but Nicole Edwards was a very close second :)

Some like it hot? Well...I think a few of the stories in this anthology brought hot to a whole new level. So hot in fact, that I'm finding it really hard to express my feelings on this collection of stories. One thing I do have to say, is to be prepared because you are going to definitely want your significant other near by when you read this one guys!

By far the best out of all of the books in this anthology, so it opened with a quite the bang. I think that Olivia tried really hard to set my e-reader on fire! I'm telling you that these three were scorching hot, and I absolutely loved every minute of this story. It might seem a bit fast paced as far as her jumping into bed with two old high school friends, but something about this story just really worked for me. You can't tell me that any woman in her right mind would pass up on the opportunity that was presented to be part of a Jake and Devlin sandwich!
Nicole Edwards Boots Optional ★★★★
This was an introduction into a new series for Nicole, and it looks to be just as great as her other series I've read by her. This will follow the Lambert sisters, and I'm definitely eager to see where this story goes from here with the subsequent books because this left me wanting more.

I've always loved the type of story of the girl falling for her brother's best friend, and Cherrie delivered in the best way! Both Cameron and Meredith have always had feelings for each other, but Meredith is finally pushed into action after over hearing Cam with another woman while on vacation. The only thing that niggled me a bit was the aspect of her overhearing him with another woman. Yeah it was sexy when she didn't know who they were, but I think I would have had issue with that personally and been too gutted to make my move. Overall though, this was still one sexy read and I enjoyed it.
Kristen Proby Playing With Fire ★
This was my first read of Proby, and it will certainly be my last. I hate to say that, but everything about this story annoyed the crap out of me. From the alternating first person point of view between the three characters, to how everything played out...I just didn't enjoy it at all. I think her style of writing isn't for me.
Lainey Reese Guarding Nadia ★★★★
I enjoyed this suspenseful little short story even if it was a tad on the predictable side for me for who the stalker was. The heat and chemistry between the three characters really worked for me, and it was an overall great and kinky short story.

This book was a ride and half! I loved it and disliked it....in a good way!!! The love was for the author's and the novella's, the dislike was they ended far too soon and I needed MORE!!!

It was a fab short read, but really wanted to know how their relationship works out with pressures of their outside lives encroaching in on their bubble.....I felt teased!! More...I needed more....

Some funny moments with Grace's feisty sisters...who I am guessing are the stars of the new series...hopefully with more of this trio too!!

Playing with Fire is a spin off novella from the With Me In Seattle series. It’s not necessary to have read any of that series to appreciate this one (although I can highly recommend them) – it works perfectly well as a standalone. A red hot knickers on fire standalone!!
Bailey, our heroine, is Nic’s best friend from Play With Me and we know she has a healthy interest in kinky sex as we first came across her at a BDSM convention.

Hot is for sure. This was a great anthology of stories written by the best writers of erotica in the business. There is definitely something for everyone in this one. MMF menage. MFM menage. BDSM. MF. Hotter than hell firefighters. Cowboys. Doms. Sex at the beach. What is wrong with any of that? Nothing in my book, if you pardon the pun! My favorite stories were the ones by Cherrie Lynn and Kristen Proby for sure, although the other three were enjoyable as well. This book definitely does not disappoint.

I don't usually like anthologies. They tend to be a collection of novellas from other series or the beginning of some serial series.
This one was different. All of them were independent. No nasty cliffhangers. No "here read this, then go buy the rest."
They were all written by some of my very favorite authors and they were all steamy.
The first two have m/m which isn't my thing, but they were still good. My favorite was Kristen Probys (no surprise there) follow by the last one. :)

4-4.5 stars. A great compilation of short stories by some of my favorite authors. I liked all of them, but the first 3 novellas stuck out the most. They were my favorite. Surely anything Olivia Cunning or Nicole Edwards has their name on, I will not hesitate to snatch up. Recommend to anyone who likes to read m/m/f or m/f/m.

Holy exhausted vagina! Some Like it HOT is the hottest book I've read in 2014. It took me 3 days to read because, well...Mr. Ana needed to be around and the kids didn't. And believe me, Mr. Ana was around a lot, we are both smiling a lot, and well....
So if this review makes no sense to you, well, my brain and body are both mush. I will review each story separately, but I will start off by saying 4 of the 5 stories were ménage.
But not just m/f/m, but some m/m/f too (see my glossary of book terms here).
I'm not usually a big fan of m/m books, but let me tell you, with these guys, all bets are off. Let me start buy telling you two things about this book.

Story #1 ONE STARRY NIGHT by Olivia Cunning
It's no secret that Olivia Cunning is the first erotic romance author I will suggest to anyone. Her Sinners on Tour Series is still my all time favorite sexy series, and one of the reasons I started this blog. So imagine my surprise when Sinners show up in this story!!! Michelle is a nature photographer who was a mean girl in high school and regrets it. She shows up at her high school reunion, not really sure why, but she knows she'd like to make amends with some of the students she snubbed, like Devlin McAllister. He was the geeky boy from school who she really liked, but because he asked her to prom in front of her bitchy friends, she turned him down not too nicely.
"It made her sick to her stomach to think of how mean she'd been to some of her classmates. Why had it taken her so long to grow a spine and stand up for what she believed in?"
So when she dances with the now gorgeous, millionaire tech success Devlin, she is excited to make amends. And he's excited too.
"He'd been dreaming of holding her like this for years. He wasn't about to let this opportunity pass him by."
Sedric Lionheart and his roadie Jake also were in Michelle's class. Jake was the guy who took her virginity, and the guy who she spent plenty of time under the bleachers with. He was also the guy who broke her heart. But when Jake sees Michelle, he wants right back in there, and cuts in on her dance with Devlin. Though Michelle doesn't want Devlin to leave, she doesn't want Jake to either, so she dances sandwiched between them.

I wasn't to preface this one by saying I am not a fan of gay cowboy novels or even straight ones. There have been a few exceptions though, and despite that, I really enjoyed this story, the first in a new series Nicole is starting called Dead Heat Ranch.
Boots Optional begins with:
Grant and Lane have both been after Grace Lambert for years. Working on her father's farm, they know they are supposed to stay away, but they can't. They are both bisexual and have a thing going on together, but they'd love to add Grace to the mix. And when she secretly watches them in an intimate moment, she can't get the thought out of her mind.
But when Grace's sisters give her a little push, in addition to Grant and Lane's push...
"Grant's lips were on her neck, Lanes were on her mouth, and Lord have mercy, Grace was sandwiched between them. It didn't escape her that she wasn't trying to get away. Not at all."
When Grace finally fully gave in,
"Grace knew she should've been appalled at her behavior, but she couldn't seem to find it in her to care. It was like she was at a buffet after spending an eternity around food. She wanted it all and she wanted it right now."
Boots Optional was 2 hot cowboys and a cowgirl, working on her overprotective daddy's ranch. I have trouble seeing how they are going to make this one work on Daddy's ranch, so I am interested in reading the first book in the series when it comes out to see how it all plays out. This book seems like it may have been the shortest in the anthology, but believe me, it makes up for it in heat. SHAMELESS by Cherrie Lynn
Meredith Taylor is on vacation at a gulf front resort. She can't sleep, so she is drinking beer on the balcony and watching the waves. When she starts to hear moaning from a balcony above her, she wants to hear more, and she tries to imagine what is going on. As she gets into it and starts touching herself, she imagines it's her long time crush, her brother's best friend, the tattooed personal trainer, Cameron Moore.
"Cam could put her against the wall; he was definitely strong enough. Yes, he could put her back to the wall and fuck her silly, that hard, muscular ass pumping into her while she clung helplessly to him. Like a rag doll. Invaded. Overwhelmed. God, she wanted that."

Shameless was the only story in the book not to have a ménage storyline. So compared to the other 4, it wasn't quite as panty melting. But it was the sweetest and probably the most realistic. And don't you worry, it was still fuck hot. The storyline wasn't that unique, the whole brother's best friend angle, but I still loved it just the same. Cherrie is one of my favorite authors, and her Ross Sibling Series is awesome.

Bailey Whitworth is a charity event organizer. She uses firemen at her events often, and the story opens with her helping to remove clothes from hot and sexy firemen after they just did a stair climbing fundraiser. She sees Kevin:
His torso is gleaming in sweat, his defined abs heaving with every labored breath. "Dear God, what would he look like having sex?" "I've rarely seen anything as sexy as he is. Except his best friend, Gray, who is equally as sexy. And that's the problem."
The boys have both had their eye on Bailey for over a year, and they finally make their move. After they both kiss her, she realizes.
"She glances back and forth between both of us, licks her lips and whispers, "holy shit."
Kevin and Gray have been sharing women for years, and that's the way they want to be. They've also wanted Bailey for a long time. She thinks she is in for a fun weekend, but they plan on keeping her. On top of being hot as fuck and into 3 ways, they are also dominant.
"Didn't I say ," Kevin begins and nips his way down my jaw to my neck. "That you're not in charge?"
Though they may be dominant, they take care of her like she's a precious doll, even blowing dry her hair. And they aren't focusing on each other, it's all about Bailey (lucky bitch).
I think Playing with Fire may have been my favorite, it seemed a little longer than the others, and I loved that they were all about her and they were so loving, caring and affectionate. Plus, they were hot as fuck. I did, however, have a few problems on this story. It switched 1st person POV amongst all 3 of them at the beginning of each chapter and I had trouble knowing who was talking a lot. Also, this one had the most errors, though they all had some. Still, the storyline pretty much made up for everything, but I just can't give a full 5 stars to a book that isn't perfect to me. Kristen is the author of the With Me in Seattle Series of hot, happy books.
GUARDING NADIA by Lainey Reese
Nadia Dixon is a famous BDSM romance novelist. She is being stalked by someone, and the incidences are escalating. The police are understaffed and can't really help her, so she heads for CJ Investigations, and meets the two gorgeous owners, Caleb and Jonas, who will be her 24/7 bodyguards.
"So how does this work? I need someone on me day and night. Will you guys tag team me, or do you have other partners who will take their turns with me?"
Caleb and Jonas are well respected Doms in the community, and they recognize the perfect sub in Nadia. Plus, she admitted that her BDSM books are her fantasies. Plus, she is clearly alone. Though they are reluctant to move on her while working on a case, they can see her strong reactions to them.
"She's so beautifully submissive I'm fighting myself to keep from going out there right now and giving her the peace and release she needs."
Holy hell, this story combines real domination and a threesome? YUM!!! Double yum!!!!
"Good girl." Jonas growled as she felt his hands slide up the outsides of her legs to grip the waistband... "Good fucking girl."
This story combined a little action and adventure in with the hot, dominant, threesome sex. (holy crap, it's a trifecta!)
"Not good enough." Caleb told her. "Wider. Spread yourself wider for us."
Despite a few editing errors and the fact that this one was a little shorter, it had everything I loved and was so freaking hot. It even had my FAVORITE TOY which you will need while reading this story filled with dominance. M/F/M menage with DP and a little action. Lainey is the author of the New York Series.
OVERALL
This was one of my favorite books I've read this year, and it is definitely the hottest. Mr. Ana enjoyed me reading it as much as I did (wink wink).

ARC RECEIVED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW
A rock star, a billionaire, some cowboys, some firemen, a personal trainer and some detectives walk into a bar.... sounds like a great night ahead, right? That's what you'll get while reading Some Like It Hot!
5 new novellas by 5 of my favourite authors - yes please!! I was very excited when I heard they were going to collaborate on Some Like It Hot, and could not wait to get my greedy little hands on a copy!
And I was not disappointed!! It was hot hot hot!!!! Serious cold shower-worthy reading!
ONE STARRY NIGHT - OLIVIA CUNNING
We have quickly met Jake Tremaine in the Sinners on Tour series - he's a Sinners roadie and we just know he is all kinds of trouble!
The book starts with Michelle attending her high school reunion and reminiscing about the one who broke her heart - Jake. She is also remembers her so called friends, the mean girls of the school. She is not that girl any more, she doesn't follow, she takes her own road.
Then there is Devlin. The geeky, sweet guy who made it. Rich, and did we mention hot?
When these three start talking at the reunion, there is a spark between the three and when they decide to all leave the reunion together, you just know that things are going to get f&^k hot!
And they do!! From a helicopter ride to Dev's island home, things go at warp speed and everyone is in a sex haze. As we say, everyone is "cracking a moisty" in no time at all.
I loved that we did get a bit of a background on their previous relationships, especially between Jake and Michelle. And I can't forget that we get a mention of Sed Lionheart and my man Trey Mills from the Sinner.... damn, now I want more Sinners!!
As always, Olivia gets us all hot and bothered, and leaves me wanting more
BOOTS OPTIONAL - NICOLE EDWARDS
Boots Optional is a novella that introduces us to Nicole's new series Dead Heat Ranch.
Grant and Lane have been chasing Gracie for the past couple of years.... but lately they have been chasing each other as well. We start off with a heated exchange between the pair in Grant's kitchen one night, which Grace just happens to walk in on.... ***fanning myself***
Gracie takes not crap from nobody. She will call them on their BS, will give back as good as she take. And she is sick of the games that Grant and Lane are playing with her... or are they?
I loved the push and pull with this trio. Grant thinks things through a lot more then Lane who is the more spontaneous and easy going of the pair. I loved that they had to work for what they are going to get.
SHAMELESS - CHERRIE LYNN
We've all been there. That one person you can't help thinking about, are totally in love with, and they love you too but just don't know it yet. It happens to all of us.
This is Merideth Taylor's life. She has been in love with her brother's best friend Cameron forever. But he still thinks of her as Dane's kid sister. Or does he.
After listening in on a couple getting a little something something, Meri decides that she can't keep on like this
Sick of the "what ifs" Meri decides, with a lot of encouragement/blackmail from her best friend Alyssa, to do something about it. Hey, they worst that could happen can be that he laughs at her. I loved that she grabbed the bull by the horns and went for it. Go girl!!
Cameron is just wonderful. Fit, sexy, completely in love with Meri. I felt for both Meri and Cam that they had held off for so long on acting on their feelings because of a) perhaps losing their friendship b) what Dane would think about it. I was glad that they both manned up and did something for themselves, took what they wanted,
Cherrie definitely lived up to my expectations of her writing. Smoking hot, tattooed men who take what they want - yes please!!
Also loved the interactions with Grace's sisters, especially Faith and Mercy. I guess when it comes to all the family living and working together, there is not much you can hide!
I tell you what, no one can write a cowboy menag` like Nicole Edwards. Now I have to impatiently wait for more of the Dead Heat Ranch series.... grrr I don't like waiting!!!

If you have read Tied With Me, you will remember Bailey is Nic's friend, and has always said looks can be deceiving, that she is not as vanilla as she looks.
Kevin and Gray share everything.... and now they want to share Bailey. There has been attraction between all three for a long while now, but no one has ever done anything about it. The boys have had enough, they are no longer going to wait for Bailey to realise it is them they want, and they make their move.
Wowser, what a move they make!!! Kevin, Gray and Bailey are smoking hot, that spark between them all is at ignition point, and when they fall into bed, the sheets are going to catch fire!! I needed to be hosed down!!
I loved that as much as they went after they wanted, they took such good care of Bailey, tended to her needs. I could understand Bailey's reluctance to get involved in case one of the two men she cared for got hurt by her, but loved even more that they boys reassured her.
Now I need more of this trio!
And another thing... I am a firefighter, and I am going to my captain to ask him to order me a Kevin and Gray!!
GUARDING NADIA - LAINEY REESE
Guarding Nadia was sizzling hot right from the get go. After some issues going on in her life (that I don't want to get into as it will take away from the story for you), she meets Caleb and Jonas and hotness ensues! They sure know hot to treat a lady. I mean, who doesn't want two hotties watching out for them, taking care of them.
As there is a bit of a mystery element to this story, I don't want to say too much, but needless to say, you will not at all be disappointed in the way the story goes!!!
