The more books I read, the more I realize that referring to women as toys and wanting to "break" them isn't my bag. I do realize this is advertised as a dark romance, but in my opinion, that could mean many things such as violence, abuse, and mental illnesses as well.

I also had a hard time with the writing style. I felt it was chaotic yet boring at the same time. Telling rather than showing.

From the minute I opened this book, I couldn’t put it down! The storyline kept me engaged and I was here for it. You’ve got the brooding, no nonsense, get sh!t done character that’s somewhat evened out by his partner in crime best friend (or as close to a best friend that a psychopath can have). The MMC finds himself at odds with getting the job done and giving in to feelings that’s never plagued him before. I read this book in one sitting and it’s a good thing book 2 was already available because that cliffhanger! Whew, this was one hell of a ride! 10/10 recommend.

Amazing story, great pace and brilliant characters.
I thoroughly enjoyed their cat and mouse tale, their connection was evident in how they reacted around each other. Fiametta should be absolutely terrified of the assassin who stalks and threatens the kill her all the time….but she just isn’t, he turns her on and draw to him.

Crue is a cold hearted assassin who kills and tortures without mercy and moves onto the next, but when tasked to kill Fiametta something is stopping him, he just wants one more touch, one more taste…..he can’t stop stalking, watching and having another moment with his growing obsession.

It’s fascinating how Crue can get to her and have his way and leave again without being detected by her father’s security. And never once has Fiametta told her father or guards about his very hot visits! I loved the pride and prejudice notes they left each other.

After weeks of intense & very hot interactions, now he’s fully taken her in her bedroom, is he going to fulfill his promise to kill her??

I tried to like it but..

I was excited to read this book and it started out good but it sure went down the rabbit hole quickly. I didn't like either one of the characters. I don't like an MMC who's willing to murder women and drugs women so he can have them sexually. I like a strong passionate alpha male who does not hurt women or think he has the right to a woman's body without her consent just because he wants it. Quote from the book I like the thrill of sticking my blade into her heart it makes me stiff. I won't let her die until I've had my way with her. I didn't like the MFC because I'm so sick of women who get aroused by men who abuse them. The Stockholm syndrome thing is way overdone. I don't think that abuse is foreplay and it promotes the myth that women want to be abused. I am just so burnt out on these books and unrealistic situations. I think I'm going to take a break and start watching Netflix lol.

As Devil’s Love is quite suspenseful and is definitely a page turning mafia romance. I was quite literally on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading As Devil’s Love. I absolutely did NOT want to set my phone down until I read the last page of this book. This book is most certainly a captivating mafia romance. As Devil’s Love is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Teresa Wolf. This novel follows the story of Crue and Fiametta. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know both of these characters as well as seeing their story unfolding throughout the pages of this book. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between Crue and Fiametta is undeniably irresistible and absolutely breathtaking. I hope Teresa Wolf will continue Crue and Fiametta’s story in another book. I would absolutely read it so I can see what will happen between them next. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading mafia romances.

This is the 1st book in the Little Flame Duet featuring the steamy fast-paced dark and abrasive mafia romance told in dual POV between Crue and Fiametta. Crue is a top tier hitman whose services are available for hire and right now he's working with Matteo Baronne taking out members of the Lorenzo Napoli Famiglia. Then Matteo decides that he wants to flip the script by telling Crue that he wants him to put Lorenzo's daughter Fiametta in his sight. Fiametta is a beautiful person inside and out she's kind and sweet while Crue is a merciless killer and their initial interactions are quite tense. They're riddled with conflict which could be due to the fact that Crue is supposed to terminate her. However Crue knows that there's something about her she's special which is why he finds himself drawn to her and Fiametta isn't intimidated by him which shocks Crue. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy fast-paced dark and abrasive mafia romance told in dual POV to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

At outset best to read the triggers and warnings as if dark, rough and erotic steamy mafia dark romance is not for you then not the book you will enjoy.
If you like your romance dark and gritty then you may enjoy as much as I did reading book 1 and have book 2 ready to go as hoping to be as gripping as book 1.
I do like when books have dual perspective and we get both sides in this story from Fiametta (Little Flame) and Crue as two main characters. Enjoyable narrative but best parts are when the Fia and Crue are together with such intense, steamy sexual tension and chemistry based in dark world. Both main characters are products of their environments and vulnerable starts from young age of violent world but something draws them together with heightened chemistry and insecurities.
First book I have read of this author but curious to see her other creations after reading this book.

This was quite unexpected. I didn't really know what to expect from this book. There was Darkness, there is Steam and there was definitely laughter. The scene in the bathroom where Mark was talking to the innocent man had me laughing halfway through the book every time I thought about it. As a side character Mark really cracked me up. Especially his "she'll be coming around the mountain" I almost had an accident on myself I was laughing so hard. Crue this definitely my kind of crazy. I've always had a thing for psycho men. Fiametta is it likeable character. I just wish that she would do more to stand up for herself when it comes to her dad's second and her dad for that matter. Only one time did I see her actually stand up for herself defend yourself and I find that mind boggling. I'm ready to dive into book two.

I will admit when I see the name of Teresa Wolf, I have come to learn that she is a very talented Author with a true desire to envelope her readers into her dark and gritty mafia inspired romances. Simply put "As Devils Love" was yet another winning story for me, even though I did take a bit of a break from the whole Mafia genre, this was like a welcoming blanket being wrapped around me for my rekindling affair for this genre.
She has definitely found her winning formula in her ability to create entertaining stories that simply capture your interest from the moment you open the book right through to the end and by pure luck I already have the second book hot in my hand to follow on. Definitely this story hits the right spot in every genre and trope and more and leaves you simply gasping for more.

Crue and Fiametta's story and it's something else! As a hit man, Crue and his friend Mark is kept very busy by his current employer. This is "therapy" of sorts and serves two purposes for him. One is revenge of course and the other is helping to battle lots of demons he carries with him. Fiametta is the roadblock that brings everything to a screeching halt. She makes him feel things he thought was long gone. As Devil's Love is a fantastic, dark, intense story that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It touches on lots of topics that may be sensitive to some readers so make sure you check trigger warnings before you start reading. And don't forget it's a duet so there's a cliffhanger.

Best friends have been pulling jobs not only because it keeps their sanity or insanity (depending on your point of view) but because they have ghosts to put at rest. Id not say they're all happy with their employer but means to an end and all.
The streets run red with the bodies they've unalived. In comes her, oh and she's a beauty one they didn't count on being up in the mix.
Definity is crazy AF, fast-paced, and intriguing. When it all comes to head choices will have to be made.
You're going to enjoy this one even with the bite of a cliff, be sure to grab this one and the next one as its a must read and enjoy duet.

I love a book that makes you feel all the emotions, though this one definitely focuses on the darker side of things. With a name like "As Devils Love", I can hardly blame them for it. I may be crazy for my thoughts on the matter, but I sincerely feel like Crue does not want to hurt this woman that he seems to be slowly falling for. But maybe, with this ending, he thought he had to in order to make sure he didn't lose himself? I don't know.

My feelings are all over the place!

I am on to the next book, because I can't help but pray that I get more closure than what I've been given!

A definite read if you have a thing for stalkers and masked men. His do I don’t i struggle had me flying through the pages! Teresa Wolf does not disappoint! Even being a quick read, this story was well developed and the characters screamed for you to like them and want to know them. I loved the suspense behind what brought them together and the revenge that Crue is so desperate to have but constantly puts off. This is a cliffhanger so keep that in mind when enjoying this constant push and pull tale, but a definite must read!.

The first of a duet that gripped me from the get go. This is a dark read, Crue is a killer, a no nonsense guy who is out to avenge his mother’s death. He is assigned to destroying the enemy who happens to be his mothers killer, this man has a daughter so it’s an eye for an eye situation only when Crue follows her around he finds that his cold heart is starting to thaw. Fiametta is nothing like her family she is a decent person but when she realises she has a stalker, she’s more intrigued than frightened. Here starts the cat and mouse chase. Steamy, dark, exciting and gripping, I’m ready for book 2.

This is the second book I’ve read about a killer stalking its next victim and I wasn’t disappointed.

Crue has one thing on his mind, revenge for his mother’s death but when he sees Fiametta the first time by accident, something happens to him and to his body that has never happened before. He is an elite assassin after all so why does this woman spark feelings and thoughts he never had before? Will Crue be able to finish his hit list or will Fiametta put an end to him first?

Crue and Fiametta are quite the interesting couple. He's dark and dangerous and she just can't resist him. Crue goes through so much mentally when he suddenly can't finish his mark. Fia is dazzled by her stalker, she knows it's wrong and dangerous but it doesn't stop the feelings from coming. If you love mafia drama and masked men, this one will be right up your alley. It's a short fun read that'll have you wanting more at the end. I devoured this book in only two sittings and there are no regrets there on that! Can't wait to see what happens in the second part of the duet.

Crue and Fiametta.. Oh. Ummm.. I.. where do I start? He’s a walking red flag and she’s drawn to him like a moth to a flame, even KNOWING the danger she’s in. He’s waging a war in his own head juggling against his word to finish a job and his growing fascination with his target. I like how the story is an intense push and pull - and the ending is just SOMETHING. Putting words to it, I just can’t. All I can say is, I HAVE to read book 2 to find out what’s going to happen!

Also, the spice was spicing 🔥 lol. Also, the cliffhanger at the end, omg I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens.

The back and forth between the two main characters are amazing. You feel for them both. You want him to succeed in is mission but you want her to be able to make him see there's more to life. Teresa Wolf does a wonderful job of pulling you into the story and making you want more!.
