M K Farrar had penned more than ten novels of psychological noir and crime fiction. A British author, she lives in the countryside with her three children and a menagerie of rescue pets. When she’s not writing—which isn’t often—she balances out all the murder with baking and binge-watching shows on Netflix.
Can't believe this was book 15. Another good book by the author. It was easy to get into, quick to read. But a bit of a soapbox storyline. with a predictable protagonist. Can't wait for book 16.

The Chess Master (A DI Erica Swift Thriller Book 15) by M K Farrar My Rating: 5 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy - Book Nook Nuts
REVIEW I will say I love all the thrillers this author writes but this one... It went in a totally different way. I found myself wanting to smack someone or scream at the top of my lungs. DI Erica Swift was asked specifically to handle this case, she isn't sure why. But it's a politician's daughter so she will do as she always does and find the criminal. But what she and her partner find is a whole bunch of wrong... Add a missing teenager, with a new boss and her days just got rougher. Absolutely eye-opening to things that can and do happen every single day. LOVE IT yeah I am a criminal thriller lover of books and this author blows them away!

I loved the plot twists and how the author pulls the reader into the story with the characters and great writing. I recommend you set aside time to read because this is one book that once I started reading it I read nonstop until the final page.
