Dear Santa,
I’ve been nice, and what I’d like more than anything… is a cowboy from your naughty list.
One that loves his ranch and family too. He’s protective of the ones he loves and honest to a fault. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks; he just does what he thinks is right.
One that cusses a little too much. He’s grumpy and set in his ways. Maybe broad-shouldered and wears his hat low over his brow. He looks good in a pair of Wranglers, and with one glance from him, it feels as if my whole body is going to ignite into flames.
Oh, and maybe one that is NOT my best friend’s older brother.
But yea, if you can make that happen, it would be the best Christmas ever.

Very fast paced short novel.
Daisy has been in love with her friends brother for years. As she heads to her friends for the holiday, she doesn't think he'll be there. To her surprise, he is, and he's been planning for her arrival. She's about to get the best Christmas ever.

Cute short holiday novella set in Whiskey Run.
Daisy has to write a letter to Santa as a class assignment, she asks Santa for a cowboy from his naughty list. She actually has the cowboy already picked out, Cash Wyatt.
Daisy is going home for Christmas with her best friend Lucy to her family ranch in Whiskey Run. The only way she would agree is if Lucy’s older brother Cash would not be there. Daisy has been in love with Cash for years but she overheard him tell Lucy he didn’t want her at the ranch any more. This broke her heart. But Cash had his reasons for saying that, he has been in love with Daisy since he first met her. But, he’s ten years older and she was headed off to college. Now she’s almost done and he has already lined up a teaching job for her at Whiskey Run Elementary. He just needs to explain everything to her and get her to agree to stay with him.
She’s upset when she sees he’s here on the ranch, then she’s confused when he tells her he wants her there and that she’s not leaving. He has bought her a beautiful dress, shoes and sexy lingerie so she can attend their holiday party. He also gifted her his mother’s necklace.
At the party he asks her to dance where he starts to explain that he wants her to stay and that he has always wanted her. He introduces her to some of his friends in town. Feeling overwhelmed by him claiming her she excuses herself to the ladies room, there she’s greeted by a woman named Wanda who makes it sound like her and Cash have a relationship and they will be getting together tonight after the party. Daisy feels like everything was a joke to Cash and runs back to the house. But not before she verbally claps back at Wanda.
Cash comes looking for her at the house and explains that Wanda means nothing to him, it’s her family that wants them to get married, he has no feelings for her. He confesses his love for Daisy and tells her he has been true to her since he met her. They have their first time together, Daisy is a virgin, Cash at least five years celibate.
I love yous and a proposal.
Would have really liked an epilogue with them married and possibly having kids.

This story focuses on Cash and Daisy. Cash has been in love with his sister’s best friend Daisy since he first met her but circumstances made him hide his feelings from her and push her away for years. The time had finally come for Cash to be able to make all of the moves he has put in place to finally get his woman to Whiskey Run and with him for good. Daisy has been in love with Cash for years but due to how he had treated her in the past and comments she heard his say left her heartbroken and feeling uneasy about coming with her best friend to her family’s ranch for Christmas. Once Cash sees Daisy again he stops at nothing to win over his woman and finally make her his. This was a great story with great characters.

Naughty List Cowboy is a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy girl gets her brother's best friend Christmas romance. Daisy is a 23 year old sweet and curvy virgin. She is going home with her BFF, Lucy, for Christmas on their family ranch. Cash is a 33 year old hunky cowboy and Lucy's older brother. Daisy and Cash have been crushing on each other ever since they met when she was 18, but timing was wrong, and Cash pushed her away, hurting her in the process. This Christmas, Cash is determined to claim her and show her how much she has always meant to him. Will she believe him? This was such a sweet romance. Their chemistry was pure fire, and we ended on a happy note. I want a bonus epilogue so bad. I loved it!!! Cash was a dream boat! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Daisy has one thing on her Christmas list a cowboy, a specific cowboy. Cash is not only her best friends brother. He's the guy Daisy has loved since she met him. Surprisingly, when she arrives for a visit, she learns Cash has actually kept his feelings for her a secret while she finished school, and now he's ready to confess his love.
I am a huge fan of Hope Ford's books. Her Whiskey Run Series is fantastic. This was a short, sweet story with one exception. The ridiculous misunderstanding that occurred not only was not needed but also made Daisy seem like a child. Other than that, I enjoyed the story.

Apaixonada Pelo Irmão Da Melhor Amiga
Essa é uma história bem curtinha que originalmente havia sido lançada numa antologia, portanto tudo acontece bem rápido e direto. Eu amo histórias nessa temática, e se for natalina melhor ainda! Foi muito bom acompanhar o romance de Daisy e Cash, eu leria mais páginas de boas. Um epílogo, então, teria sido mara! Mas valeu a pena a leitura e entrou na minha lista de favoritos. Super-Hiper-Ultra-Mega-Power recomendado!

clichés galore
Short format stories are hard to do because there’s limited space to fully flesh out the characters, their backstories, motivations, etc. This one relied on cliché as a sort-of shorthand to flesh out the story. It came of disingenuous, especially because her last memory of Cash was of him telling his sister to never bring Daisy to their home again.
He never fully explains himself and I can’t get past how harsh that was. Misguided chivalry may have been at play, but did he have a change of heart? Was he in denial? It’s a modern story, so social mores also don’t excuse his past behavior. I dunno, this was just too shallow of a story. And that’s too bad because it’s got one of my favorite tropes.

I. Want. More. This was my first @authorhopeford story and I am hooked. I loved this short, sweet and spicy Christmastime Novella. It was the perfect car read. I wish there was a little more background into the current relationship between Daisy and Cash. I am not sure if I missed it in one of Hope’s other stories or not. We can tell there is lust and crush on both sides. It seems Daisy thinks Cash doesn’t like her because when they first met she was still too young and he wanted to wait and eludes to him not being very nice / friendly with her in the years between that meeting and when the story takes place. But then its revealed that Cash has wanted her in all the bad ways one could lust for their true love but was biding his time until he felt it was appropriate to make Daisy his.
He’s dominating, bossy, swoony and certainly a Naughty List Cowboy I would not mind riding. Dear Santa can I add one to my list???

insta love short read
I was all for this story as soon as it mentioned cowboys and small town. Those two things mixed together is an insta yes for me. The start of the story was cute and you get introduced to the characters. Throughout the story you learn the there is a past between the main characters, but it’s never explained. Daisy constantly says Cash has hurt her over and over but you never find out what he did.
Then he confesses his love and she just jumps on board. I know it was insta love, but I feel like it didn’t follow the build up at all. I wanted to know how he hurt her again and again. The only time it mentioned something was when she moved and he didn’t go with her. The spice was moderate, but I was able to picture it which is a plus. It was perfect for this story line and didn’t take away from the overall story.
I think maybe if this was a full length novel and I got more background on the characters past with each other then I would have loved this story. If you’re looking for something fast and cute then this would be for you, but if you want character development then I would say this didn’t have much.

Naughty List Cowboy by Hope Ford is a mini novella that follows the story of Daisy and Cash through their dual POVs in a Best Friend’s Older Brother, Age Gap, Cowboy Romance.
For being a novella, it was not only a quick and easy read. It was enjoyable to read. Especially with how quickly everything moved along in terms of the pace, makint it all the more easier to keep flipping the page over when reading.
Daisy and Cash’s story was a very much a fast burn with how quickly their romance sped along. Going from how it came to be, to jumping to their HEA.
Then again since it was a short story, it was expected.
I will say, I do wish the story had a few more chapters to it, just because it was a little too fast at times.
With the extra chapters it would’ve allowed forgotten parts to wrap up by filling in those missing pieces.
Plus with the extra chapters the details that felt like they were glossed over could’ve been expanded on a little more with some further in-depth explanation. Instead of feeling like it was thrown in last minute just to wrap it up.

Short and wonderful!!! Daisy, she has been in love with her best friend’s big brother well since forever, and she has even asked Santa for the gift of Cash, she has been a good girl all year, but she knows it will never happen, especially since he broke her heart. When Daisy returns home to Whiskey Run, I should mention that if you have not read any of the Whiskey Run books, you are missing out, and gets invited to her best friend’s house for Christmas, she is assured by her friend that Cash will be out of town, Daisy gets the surprise of her life when Cash is in fact, at home.
Daisy knows she should leave, but Cash all but begs her to stay, and stay for a Christmas party!! Cash knows what he wants for Christmas, the woman he has been obsessed with, in love with for 5 years, Daisy!! He knows that this is his shot to get her, and he will stop at nothing to have her, even asking his little sister to tell a little white lie. I loved this book, and it has officially shot to the top of my Christmas reads!!!

I really enjoy Hope Ford’s books, her writing style vividly paints a picture in your head. This was a short novella packed with emotions which I really loved. Cash was a stubborn cowboy who was determined to get his way with the woman he’s loved for years. He wanted what was best for her, but in the process unknowingly broke her heart. Daisy was strong yet vulnerable, but held her ground when it came to Cash being there. I really wanted to give it a 5 star because I did like the book in general, but I felt like I missed a whole other book or a few chapters on their past. It didn’t really explain what happened or why Cash said they things he said. There wasn’t any real grovelling either, but then again it was explained, sort of, by him and it wasn’t really any of his actions, just his words that were overheard. Otherwise it was a great story, I just wish it was longer! No cheating or OM drama, slight OW drama but it’s cleared up in a couple pages, virgin FMC, steamy, brothers best friend trope and a sweet HEA. Can’t wait for more from Hope Ford!

She is on her way to the ranch with her best friend for Christmas. She is nervous because she hasn’t seen him in a long time, her best friend‘s older brother and the man she’s been in love with. She’s trying to keep her heart in check. He has been biting his time he stayed back because he knew she had to finish school but now the time is right and he has every intention of making her his. This is a short story format so you don’t expect detailed character, development or complicated plot scenarios. This one is pretty straightforward. They have both been pining for each other and it’s time that it all comes to a head. When they finally lay it all out there things get spicy and roll fast. They are all in. It was a sweet story I did wish for an epilogue..

Naughty List Cowboy is swoony hot!!! Author Hope Ford has delivered another delightfully delicious novella with a man who is devoted to the woman he loves and will stop at nothing to get her. Cash and Daisy have intense chemistry and the way they love each other is dynamic. Sweet and innocent Daisy has such a big heart, and Cash has carried so many burdens to get his family through their tragedy. I love how Cash sets out to finally claim his woman—he speaks to every part of her soul with his actions and his words. So yummy!!!

A year ago, Daisy’s heart was broken by Cash. The emotions and hurt she has carried since then have stunted her dreams however her heart held onto a tiny sliver of hope. Now, a little lie by her friend has her showing up at the family home for Christmas and she’s shocked to see Cash. She tries to leave but Cash pleads his case. She (rightfully) doesn’t trust him but he went all out to do the right thing now. I wish the story had really addressed what she had heard him say a year ago and what was going through his mind. The prep for the Christmas party was sweet—I love a girl friendship scene. 🥰
This time when a misunderstanding threatens to rip them apart, Cash must decide whether to let her go or fight for a future with Daisy in it.

Daisy has been secretly in love with her best friend's brother, Cash, ever since they met. But unfortunately for her, he didn't feel the same way. Things got even more awkward when Cash told his sister he didn’t want Daisy anywhere near his ranch, making it clear he wasn't interested. Fast forward five years, and it's Christmas time—Daisy gets an unexpected invite to the ranch. This time, though, Cash is determined to make up for all the hurt he caused and all the time he wasted.
I really enjoyed this one! The groveling from Cash? Absolutely spot-on! It was sincere and really made me feel for both of them. I also understood why he had pushed her away all those years ago, so it didn't feel forced. Overall, this was a fantastic read, full of emotion and second chances.

I loved Naughty List Cowboy. The only reason Daisy Caine home with her friend is because she said her brother wouldn’t be there but he is. Cash made mistakes in the past but now it’s time to claim Daisy and their future. She’s confused but she wants to believe Cash when he says he loves her but then someone makes her doubt his true intentions. Can she finally believe that Cash is ready to give her what she wants and needs? I loved the story and the characters. It’s a sweet story. I would definitely recommend this book.

Daisy was rejected by Cash almost 5 years ago. But she’s back on the ranch with his sister, her best friend for the holidays. Cash who’s not supposed to be there is there. This is the beginning of her venture for the Christmas holiday. Cash is there to prove this will be one of the best Christmases she’s ever experienced. emotions are high before the festivities. Promises were not made to be broken as this short story evolve that could either make or break the Christmas holiday. Good read there is a villain in the story beware.

I so appreciate Hope Ford's writing and in Naughty List Cowboy she does it all in a short story. It is about Daisy and Cash and a Dear Santa letter that may just make all her wishes come true this Christmas. When Daisy comes home with her best friend and roommate Lucy to Whiskey Run for the holidays she is surprised that the one man who she is sure hates her will be there, Lucy's older brother Cash. What she does not know is that Cash does not hate her but the exact opposite. So this Christmas there may just be a lot more unwrapping under the tree than anyone expected.

This is a holiday instalove novella. Tropes: age gap, best friend's brother, cowboy, and innocent FMC. Daisy is the sweetest FMC. She had been in love with Cash for years but had heard him tell his sister not to bring her back to the ranch. When Daisy's best friend invites her to the ranch for the holiday she only agrees because Cash isn't suppose to be there. This is a short sweet story with all the feels. Enjoyable holiday read.

I loved this quick read! I love books with people who know how to communicate! Hope Ford is one of my all-time favorite authors.
Cash is one of the Wyatt children, and after the death of their parents, he runs Wyatt Ranch.
Daisy is best friends with Lucy Wyatt and has come home with her from college for the break.
