Hell yeah

Fantastic book, fully captured my imagination I have always loved insects and continue to do so today

They are without a doubt the coolest things scuttling this globe and this book has reignited the love for these microbeasts that young Allan had

It is however also solely responsible for the recent change in my want to read lists being dominated by bug books

All about insects. It's so well written, funny and informative. Quite sciency, but he explains the physics, chemistry and biology very clearly.

It's absolutely packed with fascinating insect facts.

Definitely my book of the year so far.

Amazing work of scholarship written with a light touch. Only thing that stopped a five star was the encyclopaedic list of examples that made reading it slightly hard work.
