Super hot as always, cause you know Evelyn Montgomery is amazing! Second chance romance of a couple who were destined to be together. This is the story of Rex and Gwen, I recommend giving it a read. It is the third book.

This book was a great read but man was it a stressful read. I cant imagine has this truly been a true story.

Reckless is the story of Rex and Gwen, and this couple is an exercise in frustration. They get a second chance at love, and neither of them seem any better at relationships than they were as teenagers. And I think that was my biggest issue with this one. The angst comes from a lot of miscommunication and nobody really explaining anything. We get plenty of flashbacks, some by way of dreams (and these people have some detailed dreams), and the miscommunication and indecision makes sense for their ages the first time around. The problem is they don't seem to have grown up or matured emotionally since that time. June and Rex make a habit of hurting each other, and most of the book kind of runs in circles - they can't get enough of each other, someone gets hurt over some misconception or misunderstanding, they sling hateful words, they walk away, then they start all over again, and around and around we go. I suppose Reckless is a suitable title given how reckless this couple is with each other's feelings. The thing is I actually liked both of these characters separately. It was all the unnecessary angst when they were together that drove me to distraction. I just wanted to shake the daylights out of both of them and tell them to grow up. I just kept waiting for some emotional growth from these characters, and I didn't find that. So in the end, this one was just okay for me.

I did not like Gwen and Rex when I first encountered them in "Indecision" as supporting characters to that storyline. It was obvious there was a story behind their characters that I didn't enjoy and "Reckless" gave me the answer and a second chance for me to review my feelings about these two characters.
At first, I wasn't sure I'd change my feelings about these two--they seemed so volatile. But as I read pages after pages, I found myself starting to root for them. Gwen and Rex were highschool sweethearts with a deeper history than I had anticipated. Evelyn Montgomery weaved the flashbacks into the present seamlessly, while unraveling bits of the mystery behind Gwen and Rex's relationships slowly and keeping me on the edge until the end.
Montgomery also masterly gave you sexy writing without giving everything all at once. I liked that in this troubled and steamy love story, there is also a sense of innocence of first love and the depth of true love that can trump any hurdles in life (eventually). Overall, I enjoyed this book the most out of the series.

This is the third book in the Can’t Help Falling In Love series but can be read as a standalone. Evelyn continues to amaze me with her writing. She has a way of drawing you in and making you turn the pages so fast until you’re done. Gwen and Rex together is reckless, but when you have a past together eventually secrets will be revealed. Be prepared for an emotional second chance romance.
Gwen and Rex were high school sweethearts but circumstances arose that ended their relationship. They both blamed each other, held into secrets and guarded their hearts. 10 years later, their best friends marry and they’re forced to communicate, and bicker. This is a story that draws you in and keeps you engaged there is so much history between these two this leads to a volatile read that covers both the past and their current lives A book that once you start you won't want to put down

This was a great read. The story was well written with great characters. I fell in love with both the MC. They made me cry, laugh and sometimes scream at their actions! Rex and Gwen are very jaded from their past, personal and their own previous relationship (if you can call it that). This story is filled with sadness, heartache, and drama that kept me engaged the entire time! I could not put this book down because each chapter ended leaving me with the need to find out more. Very fast paced and an enjoyable read! I love a good story where the characters go through hell and find themselves being better on the other side of it! The spice is on point and to have a HEA is chefs’ kiss! **I received this as an advanced copy in return for my honest review.**

This second chance romance has the making of a true story. Evelyn puts you into Rex and Gwen's world and has you feel their their love and their pain. I loved this book right from the start. In the prologue you find this quote..."What's wrong, Rex? Afraid to fall over the edge with me like you to be? Who's the tease now? I only have three words for yoh. I Always Win. " It is is the perfect example of the banter between the two of them. Rex and Gwen have been through a lot and they have to figure out if they can let their baggage go and jump in with both feet or hide behind their walls.

I'm a sucker for second chance novels. This one was one of those. Rex and Gwen's story was so heartfelt but leaves you cheering them on the whole way through. There were a few times where I wanted to yell, "tell them already!" But that makes this story more real.
Reckless is a fast paced novel with a few hard topics (please read any triggers warnings). Evelyn once again does an amazing job of the character building and relationships so much that we feel connected to them and their story. The author does a great job with the dual pov and the blending of the past and present for us to get a deeper understanding of the plot and characters.
I would recommend this book for anyone who loves second chance romances.

Reckless is a second romance for Gwen and Rex. They were together in high school but quietly and life wasn’t great for either of them. Sometimes you meet the love of your life but you are not quite ready for them. After a decade apart they finally are in speaking terms and things are heating up. Forced to work together they have to face their attraction but will they survive the secrets both are keeping?

I don’t know how Evelyn does it. She is a master at giving ALL the feels! I adored this book and Rex and Gwen were such well written characters. Second chance romance is always a roller coaster of emotions and Evelyn makes this roller coaster a total thrill! It you haven’t read this book, do it! You won’t regret it!

If you LOVE a good second chance romance then Reckless is DEFINITELY for you!!!! I LOVE a good second chance romance, so this book was definitely right up my alley in books. It is DEFINITELY a MUST read in my opinion and I will DEFINITELY recommend it to ALL of my book friends!!!! Whoever reads Reckless will NOT regret reading it!!!!

Another wonderful story by Evelyn! Rex is definitely swoon worthy and I wanted to slap him a few times 😂 Gwendolyn she is so amazing and strong and after all that they had been through it melted my heart! Shed a few tears and fell completely in love ❤

This book loves to pull at your heart. I was drawn in straight away and I loved reading about Rex and Gwens story. Reading about their past and understanding why they are the way they are. The ending was perfect too. The name they chose for their daughter was so sweet.

Gwen and Rex drove me crazy. These two have such a deep and natural connection. I wanted to rip my hair out as I yelled for them both to just be honest with each other. Mind you, they both had their reasons to have their walls up. They got together so young and they made mistakes like young people do but neither moved on. I got teary eyed on more than one occasion. The author really knows how to pull on your heart strings. I’m so happy they got there in the end. Their hea was beautiful.

I am voluntarily leaving a review after receiving an ARC from the author.
It is written well. It is a fast and easy read. It is a second chance romance. It is a little angsty - both Rex and Gwen are mistrustful of each other and afraid to love. Most of their problems are based on their prejudice and pride.
