Tia Helms grew up watching her parents’ dysfunctional relationship. Now twenty-three, Tia thinks she has managed to find a relationship that doesn't mirror that of her parents’. In fact she is living a dream: she has the loving support of her soon-to-be husband, she’s expecting her first child, she has her own apartment and she is working at her dream job, Twisted Ends. One problem though; there is a thin line between dreams and reality and in Tia’s case—her line is chaotic! By the time Tia realizes her reality, she’s redefined her dreams by allowing outside influences into her bedroom sheets. Luckily, she isn't a fool…or is she?

Where to begin, the full back story on the characters, the descriptive details and how you got your fill on each character so that not one individual was neglected. there was several layers of word play and insiders that you may have to take back and ponder to get the full understanding. Thought provoking, gave you many questions and sometimes the answers and the story was relate-able to real life in that you could actually see yourself in the situations as these characters.
Scary part is when you think its all right you get throw a curve ball, a real page turners. I know one thing i need to meet this Mike because oh my gawd!!!!!! He had me weak with how he talked to her and his descriptions was dead on like you could really see him in real life!
All fans of street literature need to read this book and get into the characters i am so ready for part two, so many unanswered questions in Part I i cant wait to support round two.
I feel this book was amazing for your first written book. Jessica, this should be your pride and joy of all the work and effort and the thoughtfulness that became of this book. I only hope that more people read it, cause it may only be a fiction novel, but there is some truth to it and can inspire many lives, as it did in this book without reveling to much information. Best of luck my dear friend. Congratulations! Great Novel. Can't wait for Part II...
I was fortunate enough to receive this book from the Goodreads Giveaway. This book took me a year to read. It started very slow and deals with typical hood drama. Girl dates handsome boy while he cheats, they get married, she becomes pregnant and he is still cheating. Not sure if this is a Christian book but at the end the young couple started to question the existence or non-existence of God in their marriage and lives. I found it to be a boring story that was predictable. The only fool in the book was Tia or maybe she was just naive. There was also a few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.
