Cassidy has come home seven years after leaving with her tail tucked between her legs. Her car is holding all of her belongings. She is surprised to find Mylo, the man she crushes on and her father's best friend, sitting in the kitchen and trying to build a gingerbread house.
When she was young, she'd fallen in love with Mylo, but then he married and seemed to be happily married. That's when she realized he would never return her love, so she fled with a broken heart.
The type of love her parents have is what she wants for herself. So far, she's never found a man who meets those expectations.
Mylo is her father's best friend and is temporarily living with her parents. Her father had seen that Mylo was in a vulnerable position and didn't want him to be alone over the holidays. The perfect marriage Cassidy had seen with him and Natalie had been a sham. It had ended in divorce after he discovered she was cheating on him. She'd gotten his house in the divorce settlement.

Mistletoe Kisses is part of the multi-authored Naughty & Spice series. It's a short and steamy, OTT, age-gap, somewhat forbidden girl gets her Dad's best friend Christmas romance. Cassidy is a young girl down on her luck after losing her job. She's returning home for Christmas. Mylo is her dad's hunky best friend who is recently divorced. Cassidy had a crush on him and left when he got married. Now, he is living with her parents for the holidays after he finds his ex cheating and all of Cassidy's feelings come back. And Mylo sees her as a young, beautiful woman and not the teenager he remembers. With the help of some Mistletoe, things get hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y!! But what will her father say? These two did have great chemistry, and the ending was happy after some minor angst. It was nothing a little Christmas magic couldn't fix. I loved it!.

I absolutely LOVED reading Mistletoe Kisses and I did NOT want to set the book down for a single moment. Mistletoe Kisses is a remarkable holiday romance. Author Nyla Lily has written another remarkable romance book that I absolutely love reading her romance stories. I loved getting to know both Cassidy and Mylo as well as seeing their story unfolding before my eyes. I do love that these two characters have a happily ever after to their story. In my honest opinion, Nyla Lily is a remarkable storyteller and a phenomenal writer who puts everything into the books she writes for her reader’s entertainment. I would definitely recommend this remarkable holiday romance for anyone to read. I can’t wait to read more amazing books from this author.

This is a quick, enjoyable insta-love novella that had the perfect amounts of sweet and spicy. Cassidy is returning home for Christmas; life has not been kind and she’s feeling beaten down. Initially it’s a blow to see her dad’s best friend is also there. Cassidy is unsure if she can deal with her unrequited feelings for Mylo. Reeling from the end of his unhappy marriage, Mylo is shocked by the feelings Cassidy evokes in him. These two are drawn to each other and have enough chemistry to start a fire. One intense kiss later and the sparks are ignited.
A perfect quick and steamy read for the holidays. Nyla Lily knows how to create characters you can root for, especially for such a short story.

There was a lot that was relatable about this book. This is its greatest strength. For example, and this one had me nodding along, Cassidy thinks that if her mother heard her swear she would wave the wooden spoon!

Mylo and Cassidy are an odd pairing and despite him being her father’s best friend and older he’s everything she has ever thought she wanted. Mylo was not expecting grown up Cassidy nor the feelings she inspires. Cassidy has kept her distance because Mylo was off limits but now he’s not and she’s not sure what to do. One kiss and everything changes. We are taking warm and fuzzies along with a heck of a fireworks show. Love that the HEA was drama free but super steamy!!.

I did not realize when I picked this book that it was a dad's best friend romance. Not really a good fan of the you knew me when I was younger but now that I'm older you're attracted to me because now I'm of age it's kind of creepy. But this is a good read for those who like that. Well written. Conflict is a definite in the story that even though attractive male that he is and her a younger one and she's a decent age somehow they make amends with the atmosphere and a HEA is on the horizon. shortish read.

Mistletoe Kisses a stand-alone by Nyla Lily is a part of the multi-author Naughty and Spice series. This is a great afternoon sized read that’s got just enough going on to keep it interesting and exciting. There is no roller coaster emotions those were had off page so it was a nice smooth read that didn’t jangle my nerves. All in all a worthy read.

This was a fun addition to the series and I loved seeing Cassidy finally get her shot at having an HEA with Mylo, her father's best friend. She left town because she had no chance with the newly married Mylo but upon her return, years later, he's divorced and available.... One kiss under the mistletoe helps both of them see forever in each other's eyes. I really loved the lack of family drama over the relationship, making this age gap romance stand out for me :D

Mylo just got divorced a year before and now licks his wounds at his best friend's house. But everything changes when he sees Cassidy, for the first time in seven years, again. Sparks fly and they fall hard and fast for each other. Age gap, father's best friend , sweet, with a bit of steam , romantic and with a sweet HEA 🥰🥰

While the build-up and spice were 4 stars, I knocked the review down a star (tempted to knock it down 2 stars) because of one big pet peeve of mine. On page 37, Mylo says "We had a reef to put on the front door".......I'm sorry, a reef? REEF?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the word is WREATH. This is a classic example of why people need to read and comprehend more- it's not just a misspelling, it's an entirely different word that is NOT interchangeable in any way.

This romance read is going to steal your heart and sweep you right off your feet. Cassidy is coming home after dealing with lots of upsets and low and behold she is sharing the same roof as Mylo her dad's best friend who is HOT and recently divorced. Can we say oh yes, I need this quick story in my life now. :) It might be a slow burn read but it's going to be getting HOT for sure.
