I made a decision to read more non fiction this year and when I saw this book it intrigued me. Of course I remember it all over the media and I remember thinking how awful it must have been for Georgia, I don't think that I got even a third of how devastated she was, nobody could understand it, well at least until they read this book.

Georgia was so open and honest with her feelings and things that have happened in her life and mistakes she has made. She didn't sugarcoat anything the book is full of brutal honest and realness, she says in the book she wanted it to feel like she was a friend talking to the reader and that is exactly how it came across.

I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend others reading it

As I said before, got this during the word £1 sale, and picked it up as I'd watched Bear on Ex On The Beach and knew him from dating Charlotte Crosby, and sadly through Georgia's case, however I knew nothing about her.

I wasn't expecting much has it's a short read, but she managed to pack so much in. I love her out look on life so much, she an incredibly strong woman who not only had to go through an awful intense and personal trial, but she was doing this whilst grieving the lost of her best friend from cancer, and her on and off partner due to a horrible car accident , and then managed to change the law too.

I'm very glad I picked this up and learnt more about her struggles, it's inspired me a lot.

I spotted this book in The Works and knew it would be fascinating. I wasn’t wrong.
While the circumstances are dreadful, it is amazing to read about powerful women succeeding, especially in changing the law.
It’s amazing to see what good can come of dreadful actions.
Would definitely recommend - the fact it took me less than 3 days to read this is testament to that.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
A fantastic memoir of the difficult challenges Georgia faced during her legal battle with Stephen Bear after he shared videos of them having sex. Georgia hadn’t consented to being filmed, but Bear very much directed the whole thing, with intent to harm. He is a despicable human being, but this memoir isn’t about him. This memoir is about taking back control and power and how Georgia managed to somehow channel her thoughts and feelings into something good. She is an inspiration to be honest, and this was very moving.

WELL DONE GEORGIA 🤍🤍🤍

Man, I felt so sorry for her, not only did she lose 2 of the most important males to her, she then had to go through that horrible ordeal that Stephen Bear put her through.

I can remember when this came out on social media, I’m glad she took it all the way and even managed to get the Law changed.

Well done to her, and I hope that anyone who’s been through what she had, that they’re able to report it.

Interesting read, Georgia has been through some sad and shocking times.
I just wish the book touched a little less on the spiritual stuff but overall a good read

Honestly where do i even start with this, i remember buying this book last year and only decided to read it in December and finished it today, and my mind is simply trying to process what I’ve just read. This book is so good and beautifully written, I always looked up to Georgia Harrison but once I read this book and she was talking about her life and everything she’s been through I felt sad for her, she went through so much in her life and this book basically mentioned it all.

What Georgia went through where her ex leaked a sex tape between them without her knowing it was being recorded made me shocked and upset that someone she loved so much in her life decided to betray her trust and leak the sex tape on his onlyfans account even tho he had promised her he wouldn’t post it anywhere and would delete it but he never did and he sent it to his friends and laughed.

Georgia went through so much and I’m so glad she won the court case against the revenge porn that was caused and she was finally able to get justice and finally sleep in peace knowing he was found guilty and sentenced to jail for 21 months in 2023. I’m so proud of Georgia for speaking her voice and speaking her truth and helping other victims who are victims from revenge porn is such an amazing thing for her to do, this book is so amazing and I deffo would recommend it.

Sadly she also Lost 2 of her close friends, one to cancer and the other to driving off a mountain, she went through a lot in this book especially dealing with grief, abuse and people taking advantage of her but thankfully she is able to live in peace now knowing she is free from the abuse of the men who hurt her and ruined her life.

Always feels a bit weird rating memoirs on such personal subjects, but Georgia Harrison is undeniably a remarkable and inspirational woman. Her story is candid and honest, and as she says in one of the chapters, feels like she is talking to you as a friend. I think I found it a bit repetitive in places, hence the rating, but she demonstrates clearly that she is a force to be reckoned with and she should be really proud of the groundbreaking changes she has made for victims.

Feels weird to ‘rate’ this… I knew of the story & result of the court but didn’t know the full details of how it happened and the details of what a true arsehole he is.

Really heartbreaking read but what a woman she is!! & changing the laws, I had no idea either 👏🏽

My heart hurts for georgia, she’s been through so much yet does everything she can for other people so that they are less likely to go through everything she’s been through

Read it in a matter of days, an open conversation around Georgia's experience as a victim of image based sexual assault. An important topic touched on at a higher level.
