I bought it on a whim, knowing nothing more than what was on the blurb and honestly it’s made me google books before impulse buying. There was nothing that really compelled me to keep reading other than to finish it because I had actually spent money on this book.

I found it to be a bit slow, dull and… meh?

I understood the point and meta of the book but it just did not blow me away, or do anything for me; really.

I found this book at a thrift shop. Knowing nothing about it, I got attached to the premise.

In general, it is a catchy story with a relatable character and a comment on job dynamics in an office context. I might say I would have wished for a deeper dive into the supporting character’s motivations because the first-person narrative can be jading for moments, and a multiple-character narration could have enhanced it.

Nevertheless , Cleaner succeeds in her way to swap away the boredom of my commuting.
