I found this book at a thrift shop. Knowing nothing about it, I got attached to the premise.
In general, it is a catchy story with a relatable character and a comment on job dynamics in an office context. I might say I would have wished for a deeper dive into the supporting character’s motivations because the first-person narrative can be jading for moments, and a multiple-character narration could have enhanced it.
Nevertheless , Cleaner succeeds in her way to swap away the boredom of my commuting.
