Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

"Ripper's Torment" is the story of Lexi and Ripper.

The book is about a h, who's had a tragic past, having been forced into prostitution and a H who pulls her out of her shell, gives her the best and most valuable fckings of her life, and fall for her. We see updates on characters from first book, an insight on upcoming romances, and our main characters fuck in all positions while exploring their feelings.

I liked that instead of focusing on past, they did on present and the future. Also, both were kinda messed up but sweet.

Enjoyed it.

Ripper’s Torment is the second book in the Chaos Bleeds MC series by Sam Crescent. This book is part of a series and is best read as part of the series and not as a standalone novel. Also, if you have read The Skulls series this book does mention characters and events from that series in this series, especially events from the book Zero by Sam Crescent. I chose this book because I enjoy reading Sam Crescent’s novels.

Judi is the adoptive daughter of Devil. He wants to protect her and give her the education she deserves since he rescued her from being a prostitute. He seems to want better for her than what she has had. Judi seems to have trouble coping with her past and recognizing she did not give consent for what happened to her. Judi seems to very low self-esteem and seems to be shy.

Ripper is a member of the Chaos Bleeds. The more time he seems to spend with Judi, the more he wants to protect her and help make her life better. He manages to get the story behind how she ended up as a prostitute. I loved how he wants to get revenge for what happened.

The chemistry between Ripper and Judi is explosive and a great match. I enjoyed how Ripper let Judi come to terms with the relationship before they told Devil. He did not push or rush her in any way.

I loved this story and how it intertwines with another series Ms. Crescent writes. This story is well written. This book is much better than the first book. The main and secondary characters are realistic and appealing. I loved that it gives a better picture of Devil and Lexie (main characters in the first book) as well as some of the other secondary characters. Overall, this is a great book. I can’t wait to read next book in the series.

Ripper is my favourite in the chaos bleeds series and was a little disappointed with it, not enough is learnt about the man, not a lot happens in this book - he see's girl he likes, gets her, the end! No drama/action. But it is very enjoyable!! To be read AFTER 'Zero' or it spoils the whole book!!

my little note to the author though...
Lay of the skinny girls! Seriously! Your so full of contradictions with your characters its bit of a pain to read and I actually nearly put this book down!! There is nothing wrong with a fuller figure and curves are beautiful! (I know this! I am curvy and I think even Kim K would be jealous of my bootie I work hard for!!) Yet not one of your characters have been happy with their size - Either they where skinny and unhappy then they gain weight, have rockin' curves and are seriously self conscience!!

Perfect.....BUT the biggest issue I have is SPOILERS. So I followed the timeline that Sam set up and Zero was to come after this one and then they told about something that happens in ZERO a book I an suppose to read next. So I;m a little pissed off at that. I don't like reading about a spoiler of an event happening in another book that I could've read before this one. That is why as much as I enjoyed the story I hated to spoilers so one less star.

This is the second book in the Chaos Bleeds MC series and features around Ripper who we met previously and Judi, the girl rescued by Devil and the guys in book one of this amazing series and continues directly from that ending. Judi is twenty years old and already led a life that no one should ever have to. Forced into becoming a prostitute at a young age she is rescued by the guys and becomes the adopted daughter of Devil the prez of the MC. He takes his fatherly responsibilities very seriously and wants nothing but for her to be happy. She is slowly finding her feet, living with Devil and Lexie, going back to college, is loved by all the members of the club to the point that she is the princess of the club, they all love and accept her as she does them, being the princess also makes her off limits to the men. When horror strikes the first person Judi calls is Daniel "Ripper" Hill, and that is where the trouble starts. At thirty three Ripper has been a brother of the club for aa long time and he knows and respects the rules, Devil's word is law but the growing attraction between him and Judi is becoming impossible to fight, he doesn't want to. He wants to claim Judi because she is his and that is all that matters. However nothing goes to plan, Lexie is pregnant and struggling, the Skulls MC have trouble and need back up but as always the truth comes out. What a great story, the care Ripper shows Judi is beautiful he loves her for her, her past is just that, he really is the right man for her. Their chemistry is amazing and also hot, hot, hot! I was loving seeing more of Devil and Lexie again it's no secret Devil is amazing in my book lol, it was also good to see more of the other brothers, Curse, Pu$$y, Death and Spider. Ashley seems a great additional character and I can't wait to see what happens between Mia, Ashley's friend and Curse. I'm excited for more adventures within this series and to see where we go next and also really pleased that the female lead gave plus size representation. Happy Reading.

If you thought Tate was bad with the Skulls, she ain’t got nothing on Judi. Judi is from the streets. In the first book of the Chaos Bleeds series, we met her and Lexie. Judi is now the adopted daughter of Devil and Lexie. She is considered the Bleeds Princess. But Ripper aka Daniel doesn’t see her that way. He finds her sexy and ne knows if Devil were to find out that he wanted Judi to be his, Devil would have his balls. Judi has such a bad past. She had to work the streets and needed to find a way to survive. When The Skulls and Chaos Bleeds saved her, she was in another world. But when something went wrong one night, the only man she knew to save her was Ripper. How long can they hide the secret? And when Devil finds out all, will Ripper still be alive and be a member of Chaos Bleeds?

Ripper tried to fight the attraction he had for Jud but is wasn’t happening. They got there chance to finally figure out if they were meant to be. But you know secrets always spill forth. Devil is not happy and someone is going to take a beating. What Ripper does for love and protecting what is his. You have to give it to Devil. He is an over protective father that loves his daughter. Just an FYI. If you are reading this in story order, You know what happened at the end of Killer is mentioned in this story plus a bit more. You aren’t reading the books wrong. Zero is next in the MC series. We just get a peak into what is going on with The Skulls. They MC club has a lot going on, a lot of danger.

SAFE! This is the safest shit I've ever read! (To those who call this unsafe. Yes, I'm making a snide comment. I don't get the unsafe shit people keep saying. People sleep with other people. It happens. Sorry to crush your fantasies... it happens.)


But yeah... very predictable ending though. Like everyone knows if there's a secret relationship in any book that the person they're hiding it from will 99% find out about it without the couple directly telling them. And freak out.

Splendid Re-Read

Man! The Chaos Bleeds MC books are still a pleasure to read. Ripper & Judi never meant to fall in love but when the chemistry hit they were left to either fight something that was impossible or let it consume them in the best way possible. They chose the latter and Judi never felt more blessed and she was so deserving of this. Devil is still cray but protective of his family.

This story picks up right after Devil's Charm when Judi (aka 'Princess', Devil's adopted daughter) calls Ripper (Chaos Bleeds MC member) to help her 'clean' up a mess. From this point on, Ripper starts feeling something more than brotherly love for Judi. As with all Motorcycle Clubs, the President's daughter, adopted or not, is off-limits. Period. That's the long and short of this book.

I enjoyed the basis for the story. It was not new and most motorcycle club series typically have a book about a MC member falling for the 'do not touch' President's daughter. No surprises on the angst, it was totally expected. Both Ripper and Judi's love connection felt real and true to me. I did not feel that it was rushed because they already knew each other. We also learned more about their background which added to their chemistry. Speaking of chemistry...the bedroom...wow! The intimate scenes could make your toes curl!!! Looks like Curse and Mia's tale is up next and I can't wait to read it. Another easy, edgy and sexy MC book!

Why Not 5 Stars?

There was plenty of sheet heat between Ripper and Judi...good and plenty. However, I think the story needed more moments with them outside of the lust. I wanted to read more about their relationship.

Perhaps it also needed some additional drama to go along with 'If Devil finds out he is going to kill you'. Maybe a new threat against he club, to Judi, Ripper, Devil. It just needed a little somethin' somethin'.

Re-read

This is not a standalone. Read the books in the author’s suggested order (not based on series order) to understand what's going on.

Ripper (biker) was with Devil when they found Judi being beaten by her pimp when she was only 17. Judi is now the adopted daughter of Devil (club Prez) and also the Princess of the Chaos Bleeds. A few years have gone by and Judi has started to heal, unfortunately she can’t escape her past. When she’s out for a walk, a former client tries to rape her. She ends up killing him and calling Ripper to help her. That’s when Ripper realizes he’s attracted to Judi in a sexual way. Knowing that his Prez will literally murder him for messing with Judi, he goes to the strip club to find someone else to bang, except it doesn’t help. He and Judi end up talking and hanging out more. When most of the club is called away to help out The Skulls (again, you gotta read these in author order), Ripper and Judi take their relationship to the next level. Yada yada, shit happens, the end for now.

I like Ripper and Judy’s story. They’re sweet. There’s not much drama in this book – it’s all happening over in The Skulls club with Zero. That shit escalated QUICKLY. I did try to warn you back in the first book, Lash.

As I’ve said before, this series is full of typos, timeline inconsistencies, and outright changes to the actual story. The books themselves aren’t even that well written. That said – it’s still one of my favorite series . I love the characters – I’m not sure why – but I just do.

So far I am not impressed at all with this spin off! This spin off series is not really action packed or adrenaline filled like The Skulls series is. The Chaos Bleeds MC are supposed to be so bad ass, I mean all of The Skulls members fear them a little, but I find them to be very tame compared to The Skulls. Their stories are more about settling down than anything else. Nothing dangerous or exciting happens. The most excitement in this book was the secretive relationship between Ripper and Judi. All the sneaking around, almost getting caught, doing it with Devil right next door, that's basically it.

Still it was a cute love story, especially after all the horrors Judi went through in her young life. It was also nice that she was focused more on finishing school than getting knocked up and having a ton of babies. She's still quite young and while she is already married her head is definitely in the right place. I can't stand it when these bikers marry these young ass girls and then proceed to just make baby factories out of them, Devil and Lexie are the perfect example. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the series he done knocked her up about ten more times...nothing cute about that....

It was all a bit rushed for me but I did like Judi & Ripper together.

Not sure I was a big believer of Ripper's "Torment". I get that he was conflicted. I get that he doesn't think he should have her after all that she's been through and of course I don't think he's a monster. But geez, Ripper... Being horny for someone you think you shouldn't have does not equate to torment to me. It might've been more convincing had you NOT screwed Ashley.

Not a fan of the whole "You're mine. No Man goes near you at all. No dates, no flirting, nothing." And then Ripper holds Ashley when she jumped into his arms and then agrees to go to the strip club (stating this in front of Judi)... and actually ends up going there. You lost points with me there, Ripper.

And how come Devil didn't find out things sooner? Didn't he have cameras all over the flippin' place, like he mentioned to Judi in the beginning?

Sweet HEA for the couple. Curious to find out what happens with Curse & Mia.

Side Note: WTF is up with the Skulls women getting shot at all of the time?! This particular Skulls heroine had better be okay when I get through with Zero's book or I'm gonna be ragin'!

Ripper's Torment...absolutely loved this story, it was raw and dirty. Ripper is dirty talking alpha, who falls hard for Judi. Judi is Devil and Lexi's adopted daughter, she has had a rough few years and she is starting to find herself. Judy's past comes back to haunt her she will take matters into her hands with the help from Ripper. He will cover for her and fall in love with her. He may not say sweet things or give her flowers and chocolate but he is honest, raw and gives her orgasms that will leave you breathless. Judi will break out of her shell, fall in love with Ripper but she won't tell Devil because she is worried of his wrath. Ripper wants the world to know who she belongs too, but he will respect Judi's decision.
Well let's just say when Devil does find out things will get heated. Ripper will give up everything for Judi even walking away from the club his entire family. Book two of Chaos Bleed is a great addition to this series and I can't wait to read Cursed. Happy Reading!I 📚

:( Poor Angel ... aww I mean come on first she gets show then she gets hurt again and loses her baby now she has been shot again I really like Angel it made me cry to read that the Skulls were being hurt don't get me wrong I love the Chaos Bleeds group but the Skulls are my MC favorites and well awwwww come on no more hurting the Skulls they need a holiday break from people trying to hurt them that being said I loved Rippers story I am glad he got his girl in the end though I think you missed out on the chance to make things even bigger because Devil had cameras in the kitchen and they were in the kitchen doing you know what so I was looking forward to Devil seeing the videos and going crazy lol ... I always knew in the end our love birds would be together but I was looking forward to that .... ;) I LOVE these MC books I can't wait for more to come and Zero can not be released fast enough for me to be happy ... lol

BETTER THAN THE FIRST BOOK

Second book in this series which is a spin off from the Skulls. This second book features Ripper a long standing and trusted member of the Chaos Bleeds MC. Judi who had been rescued used by the club when they first rolled into town is now the club princess and adopted daughter of Devil the president. So she's off limits, or face Devil's wrath.

When Ripper receives a phone call from a frightened and desperate Judi he rushes to help. Ripper wants Judi, but knows Devil will kill him if he touches her. But he starts to feel more than just lust for her.

I really liked this story, Ripper is a sexy, dirty talking, take charge alpha. Judi hasn't had the best start in life, but she's a likeable character. I thought this book was better than the first one. There is so much more sexual tension and chemistry between the H/h. The sex is hot as well. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Surprisingly I liked this book.

The author did absolutely NO justice to the female leads back story of abuse, rape and p r o s t i t u t i o n survivor who was forced into that life as a minor. But I did like that the male lead was gentle enough to always ask her when they were being intimate if she was with him and not lost in her past. I liked the depth that that showed.

I went into this book eager to finish it simply to get to Curse’s book. I didn’t like that whole “princess” thing. And while it was there it wasn’t overwhelming in the story. Granted, other than the s e x nothing is really overwhelming about this story. But it was a nice getting to know you falling in love story. Nothing sensational about this book, simply a pleasant enough read considering the dark context of the characters lives.
