It seems like Castillac just can't catch a break. All the villagers desire is peace and quiet, but what they get in January 2009 is global financial upset and yet another murder.
And their top detective has something else on her mind just now....(sshh! no spoilers!).
She has worked as a radio reporter, SAT tutor, short-order omelet chef, and baker. She tried waitressing but was fired twice.
Nell grew up in Richmond, Virginia and has lived in New England, New York City, and France. Currently she's back in Virginia with teenagers and far too many pets. She has degrees from Dartmouth College and Columbia University.
Madame Tessier Knows All is written by Nell Goddin. The book is a Molly Sutton Mystery, Book #13. “It seems that Castillac just can’t catch a break. All the villagers desire is peace and quiet, but what they get in January 2009 is global financial upset and yet another murder.” I have read all 13 books in this mystery series and like them all (especially this one). The characters are interesting and realistic. The French location is great. I like the colorful covers and the glossary of French words and expressions. This book stands alone, but I prefer the reading of a book series in order of publication. One feels a comradeship with the characters and the location. Highly recommended. ****
