So like WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO NOW?!!! After this absolute MASTERPIECE of a dark mafia romance series?????!!! One of my new all time favorites, like I fear all mafia romance is ruined from this point on…. And DIMITRI AND AUTUMN?!!!!! BYEEEEEE NO IM SO GAGGED IM OBSESSED WITH THEM AND THIS BOOK!!!
Bratva knight and Niko and Tati are still my faves (their crumbs in this book had be giggglingggg) but my god Dimitri and Autumn absolutely stole my heart!! And broke it as well… the tears I shed???? Pain. pain pain pain.
She’s literally the most feared assassin and he’s the leader of the Russian mafia and they both get taken and are forced to fight as partners in these gladiator style deaths games together…. Oh and did I mention they absolutely HATE each other?!!! Like true hatred. The BANTERRRR!! The TENSION?! The slow burn!!!! The way he’s so grumpy and deadly and feared by everyone and she literally does not give a single fuck. The women in this series. Obsessed with every last one of them. She’s psycho and deadly but also bubbly and loud and gets so far under his skin he HATES how much he likes her hehehehehe. They literally threw knives at each other in the middle of a dinner party.
What makes this so painful though is that he’s still struggling to move on from his wife who was murdered 10 years ago and feels so much guilt for being attracted to someone else. He hasn’t so much as looked at another women in 10 years. No yeah. This man broke my heart. And his love for his kids?!!!! No I’m so emotional!!! But then I also laughed so much because this family is absolutely insane and hilarious and owns my entire heart and soul. No like I’m apart of their family. It’s not over I refuse.
Guys Dimitri is quite literally DADDDDDYYYYYY THE MOUTH ON HIM?????? I need to be locked away I couldn’t take it.
God this was so good. The plot, the romance, the chemistry, the family dynamics, the action, the complex characters, the emotionssssssss!!! Mafia romance has met its peak for me.

And it’s only at the end that he lets go of his grief over his dead wife and decides to move on…🌚 even though he says he’s moving on, the h still feels like second best.😬

Did that mean I could enjoy this moment, and possibly others, without feeling like I was a cheater? Like I was betraying Yekaterina?”

December 3, 2024So I knew going into this book would be hard for me because I knew since day 1 no person can replace Dimitri dead wife. But I tried... TIRED so hard to read it.. but sadly, I couldn't.
I hate when the fmc are 2nd best to his dead wife. .Unless the dead wife was a bitch or something and this woman was a saint. And his one love from his mouth and just skimmed to the end.
And Autumn baby, you deserve so much more than being a man's 2nd best. Heck, he finally let the dead wife go until the end. 🙄🙄🙄

The way I can tell you how many emotions this book gives you like emotionally, to rage, to what the fuck moments this is definition of a dark mafia series for sure so addictive i loved dimitri in the other books for sideline character but now we get his own pov he shocked me the most!!
I still feel like bratva knight with Nikolai and tatiana were my favourite couple by far with the raw emotions they both went through that book literally gripped you couldn’t get enough! I love aleksandr and illayana but they weren’t my favourite couple honestly i found there story a bit bland…

I felt like at first dimitiri is such a shy dude but lord when it comes to autumn there both unstoppable his cheeky banter with her I love it so much the way he cares for her wellbeing deep down but doesn’t show his emotions enough to see.

Autumn is so badass in the mafia business she’s literally the most feared person she does not take no for an answer that’s for damn sure… I love how cocky she gets with her humour side even if it gets her into trouble at times too!

The romance in this was just …. Pure …. Lush !! I could not get enough of these two even to say they had so many ups and downs especially with autumns job can be a big risk being intimate with a mafia man not just any mafia man big daddy 🤭🤭🥵 there banter side of things was so funny even when they were on phone sending texts to each other when dimitri has no clue what to do after spending his life with one women before she died which I can understand not wanting to commit in a new relationship having this full of regret to move on 😭shows how pure his heart is.
I cannot believe I am on the last book when this is done I have commited this series for nearly a week now and I’m so sad this is almost over the connection I had with this mafia family seeing it go 😭
I’m gobsmacked about the ending of this book those last few chapters were again traumatic putting me through that shit 😭this has been my favourite book out of all the series so far definitely deserves the 5 stars just hopping last book will be so good too but I’m also scared about what’s to come next if it’s anything to go by from this one I’m not ready for the finale 😭😭

Hands down, this book was my FAVOURITE. I loved every single page of this book OH MY GOSH!!! This was honestly everything I needed in a dark romance book. A good plot, good romance, good banter, strong female leads, a great found family trope: LIKE YESS!! Honestly, Dimitri and Autumn were so amusing to read about. Their banter was off the charts and I adored the development of their relationship. Autumn is DEFINITELY my favourite FMC from this series: I just adored her. And DIMITRI. AHEM. YUP!!! YEAH. I honestly don't think I have to say anything more about him. Their romance was so cute though. Like yes, extremely funny and had insane chemistry. But, there was also SO much more to them that I loved. The grovelling scene; YUP! That's exactly what I needed. They had the best love confession scene out of all the books, and it made perfect sense for them. To add, the plot was incredible. I am so so SOO excited to see how the rest of the plot unravels in Lukyan's book. But yes, all in all, adored this book ALOT. This series just keeps getting better, and I only HOPEE that it continues into the next book.

Autumn is an absolute weapon. She is bad ass and her banter towards Dimitri had me in tears of laughter. And of course, the Volkov sibling rivalry is top tier entertaining.
The Bratva Series is most definitely my Roman Empire mafia series. I can't get enough of them.
Bratva Butcher is the 4th book in the series. I highly suggest reading in order as they are interconnecting but a continuation of the plot.

3.5⭐️ In the first half of the book, the story was jump to the past and explains Dimitri's pov. All the timeline is overlapped with the previous book and we can get the other pov without missing any detail. However, I don't feel it's necessary to have the entire scene repeated (word for word).
The second half is quite better for me, continuing the plot, filled of angst, betrayal, love, and family moments.
I really loved the women in this series, Autumn, aka The Crimson Death, is a badass, fierce, perfect for the Butcher. They had the best love confession scene, oh Dimitri the man you are, daddy.
And what about that scene with Lukyan's stalker? I need his book.

THIS IS THE BEST ONE OUT OF THE WHOLE SERIES BEST CHARACTERS BEST COUPLE
This is how you write power couple who used fighting and banter as foreplay
DADDY DIMITRI VOLKOV when I say he’s literally a daddy I mean it he’s got the grumpy stoic face with a scary demeanour but loves his children so much and would sacrifice himself for them
Also this scary pakhan can’t handle my sassy feisty queen Autumn was lowkey scared of her impulsiveness and her crazy attitude
Dimitri is literally so hot pls I knew I would love the Bratva Butcher the most in the series and I did
I was happy it cleared up that he never hurt children and sent them to orphanage
Daddy Dimitri is so hot and unhinged that we got two jealous fellas as the enemies like literally trying to destroy him because they are jealous
Lmao he handled them in left hand never broke and was so strong
Literally The Bratva Butcher and The Crimson Death ate so hard they fought everyone so easily
I loved the banter so much like their fights and almost killing each other like yes this is how you do enemies to lovers with a badass FMC and a grumpy MMC

Calling Lukyan his light and saying I love you to Aleksandr literally daddy Dimitri is so wholesome and also so grumpy
The whole family ready to sacrifice themselves to protect Ilyaana their bond is seriously so strong
I love this crazy family so much they as so unhinged and so comforting

Omg this book was definitely a true enemies to lovers. The hatred for each other was so real and visceral that it made the story all that much better. Like genuinely for the first half of the book, the dynamic was just so interesting to read because you don’t know what will happen or whether they would genuinely hurt each other.

Oh Wow, that was completely unpredictable! I did not expect the twist with the father and the book — it was absolutely wild. I can't wait to read Lukyan's story next. I really hope his character stays the same and keeps that funny vibe!

TJ does it again. This book became my favorite of the series so far and I was skeptical because of how much I’ve been wanting Lukyan’s book and normally I don’t like reading widowed tropes but WOW this book blew me away. While technically the books can be read as standalones, I HIGHLY recommend reading the series together because of how well these books are interconnected. The alternating viewpoints we get and how the timelines mesh is done so incredibly well it flowed and I can’t imagine not having read the others.
If you have read the series, we got a glimpse of Autumn and Dimitri in the last book. But to have the firsthand perspective of how they fall for each other? This book actually made me tear up a little in the end. Autumn is an assassin and Dimitri is Pakhan, they both are held hostage to enter a “hunger games” style death match. Again, the last book is crucial to the progress of this one but this one focuses more on the emotion that both Autumn and Dimitri struggle with.
We do have to wait a bit to get to the spicy scenes, understandably so with what Dimitri is struggling with, when we DO!? AH. Again, might be the absolute best spice yet. They are fire together. The tension was through the roof and they have the amazing banter down pat but also this fierce protectiveness for one another. I believed that Dimitri was in love with Autumn which can be the issue for me when it comes to widows. Autumn is strong, independent, smart, and a total baddie so what’s not to love? I didn’t think anything could top Drea and Alek but this one did FOR SURE.
Now I just have HIGH hopes for Lukyan and his stalkers book!

Well it was my first book from this author and while I did start liking this book I disliked Dimitri therefore I couldn’t get on board with his character .He was awful to Autumn the whole book from start to finish. I loved the MFL she was strong and fierce and Loyal and super protective towards Dimitri in every turn he however was not , He treated her like crap throughout the whole book . He was borderline verbally abusive I get it that she was a very strong character but to just make her so weak emotionally just wasn’t right at one point he kisses her then pushes her on the fIoor and doesn’t even apologize to her and I get that compared to everything else that scene was mild but come on ?loved Autumn’s character she was hilarious and strong . I felt she deserved so much better and I get the Dimitri was dealing with grief but he had no right to be so wishi washy with Autumn and treat her like trash in every turn then she just forgives him?He doesn’t even grovel that much in my opinion and don’t even get me started on how he treated my sweet poor Lukyan his character was not redeemable in my opinion and I get it that it’s just a book but I feel the Author missed the opportunity to give a good example of a woman’s self worth there are young girls reading this and this is the example of how a (book) boyfriend can treat you and then he says sorry and you forgive him ? Okay you know what ? I loved this one. I don’t even care about that writing anymore — i complained enough about it in the previous books’ reviews lol.
I just loved this book so much. I loved Dimitri, I loved Autumn, she’s definitely one of my favorite FMCs. I loved their chemistry, all the scenes of them together; they were perfectttt. And everything that was going on, the action, the plot, it was all so so good i couldn’t put the book down !
And it’s a plus that the cover of the book i loved the most so far is in my favorite color AND some of the things on it are things i actually have tattoos of on me 🤣

Not sure what to do now that I'm up to date with this series 😭 I guess (un)patiently wait for december... I can NOT WAIT for Lukyan's book oh my goddd.
I'm so obsessed with this series. It's definitely a new favorite of mine. With each book the plot gets better and at this point I'm on the edge of my seat to see how it all will continue/end. And then the romances?! Also so freaking good in every book, I can't.
I loved reading about Dimitri and how he overcame his demons. This book was also very emotional and I loved the depth it gave. Autumn is like every FMC in this series such a baddie, I loved reading about her!

Tatiana and Nikolai are my favorite couple; however, Bratva Butcher is my favorite book in this series. My husband passed away 11 months ago, and the pain and loss are the worst I have experienced. The author portrayed this so perfectly through the character of Dimitri. I saw so much of myself and my grief through him. I was not expecting this book to resonate with me so much, but it did. I adore this series, and if you haven't read this, you're truly missing out.
