Sierra has a deep-seated anger for Keller, however as she is the main earner between herself and her younger sister, she agrees to take a job working for his team.
Keller lives to race fast: when he is not on the track, he is racing on roads for money or cars. When Sierra comes to the track for her interview Keller thinks she’s a fan and grumpily calls security to remove her.
Sierra and Keller make it clear that they do not like each other at first, eventually, she starts to see a different side to him.
This is a wonderful story: Keller improves as the story unfolds and some of his behaviour is understandable; Sierra carries a lot of hate towards Keller, which you eventually find out why. Their relationship is very bumpy, especially when some are against it.
I really enjoyed this story start to finish, there was not a page that I felt the need to skim through, I was invested in how their story would end and can’t wait for the next book.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
