A second chance to claim the girl that got away comes around once every eight years.
Miranda Becoming my little brother's guardian is the best decision I've ever made. Sleeping with his teacher? Admittedly, not my best move. I've built a small town mountain life for us and now, Cole Rose wants to swoop in and make my pleasure his new job. I don't have time for a man, but how long can a horny girl resist his seduction?
Cole If ghosting were an Olympic sport, Miranda wins the gold. Eight years after she disappeared from my bed, I walk into her coffee shop with fate on my side. I don't care that she had a good reason, because she's still trying to run. She says she's not interested, but her body tells a different story. I just got to town and I'm not going anywhere. Who takes care of the person who takes care of everyone else? Me. I just need to convince her she's mine.

Seduction in the Mountains was a fun, sexy, and easy to read quick romance. Cole had loved Miranda for a year in college and spent that time figuring out how to spend time with her and be with her only for her to disappear after one night together. So years later when he found out they were in the same small town he immediately set off to get his girl and get their happily ever after.
Cole and Miranda were both likeable characters, who I enjoyed reading about. Their romance was an insta-love one but I didn’t find it as difficult to connect to as I sometimes do with insta-love novellas because of their shared history and the depiction of that past connection/feelings on the page. Their romance obviously moved at a quick pace but I was interested in it and read this fairly quickly. The setting and cast of secondary characters added to the romance and I enjoyed seeing Miranda and Cole interact with her younger brother and how protective the small town was over Miranda whilst also rooting for Cole.
If you are after a quick and easy read then this could be a book for you. Or jump into any other book in the series given that they appear to be interconnected standalones.
Insta-love but more......... “Seduction in the mountains: A second chance romance” by Lara London is such a good read. It is as advertised, an insta-love shorter romance with HEA and heat…..but it is much more! It was an engaging story full of wonderful characters, friendships, humor, steam, and romance. Miranda (coffee shop owner) and Cole (teacher) cross paths in college then again years later. As a couple their sparks fly from the start Their story did a wonderful job of providing information about their lives and connection to their friends (fun & witty). The story has good writing, plot, characters (main and supporting), conflict, Steam (with a capital S), romance, and a HEA. This charming insta-love, small town romance is worth the read, in my opinion. This is my first time reading this author and I plan to read more of this series (Passion Ridge) and from this author. I recommend this book.
This was a second chance at love. In college Cole and Miranda got together but when morning came she was no where to find found. Years later he finds her owning a coffee shop and still painting. He worked hard for his second chance with Miranda and got his happy ending. A great read
For this being a short romance it was surprisingly so good! It had very cute small town vibes feel while also including some spice but not revolving the entire story around spice. For only about 85 pages it was a great read, I honestly wish it was longer so I could read more about them. Will def be reading the next ones in the series!
This is a well written story with great characters. This is a book for that lazy afternoon when you just want to veg. This is a quick read. I would encourage everyone that wants a quick read to get this one it is worth your time.
I loved this little read. Miranda owns a little coffee shop in Durhing Park. Raising her little brother is tough. Cole is the new teacher in town and has longed for Miranda. They went to college together. Now this is his second chance. Can he make her his?
Quick fun rom com. They met in college, had a one night stand and he never saw her again. Until…years later after revamping his life he walked into coffee shop. He was ready for her but she wasn’t ready for him. Will they make it???
