That was a fun re-read. And something about the plot (a goat kid learns to count and all the other farm animals are terrified and campaign to stop him from counting them) feels oddly prescient somehow.

Õpetlik lugu kitsetallest, kes oskas lugeda kümneni, kuid kelle väärtust keegi ei osanud hinnata enne kui häda käes. Väiksele lugejale võib see raamat samuti numbrite õppimisel kasuks tulla.

loved reading this as a child, and even more so now reading it to my son. he giggles and counts thru the entire story no matter how many times we have read it by now.

One of my favourite stories as a child, even though I always found it a bit scary!
