This picture-photo book is a great book to broach the topic of death with children. It's too complex for smaller children, but has a great discussion of how old age, murder, suicide, and war lead to death. It explains how the body shuts down and then also discusses what happens after death. A well-rounded perspective is presented looking at the soul from different points of view and religions. Finally, funeral and burial customs as well as the stages of grief are discussed. The ending emphasizes how you will move on and how important it is to ask questions.
