This novella pulled me in with its spooky “monster under the bed” vibe — our heroine, Libra, tortured by sleep-paralysis and haunted by a shadowy demon, and then enters Axelle, a real literal demon bound to her dreams and her fear. The mix of horror and heat worked surprisingly well: Libra’s fight, Axelle’s darkness and weird devotion, and the push-pull between torment and tender made for a wild ride. Some bits felt a little rushed (it is short), and if you’re super picky about plot originality you’ll spot the tropey beats — but honestly, it was fun, creepy and got under my skin in a good way.

Ab. Cynthe is the queen of f'ed up crazy novellas and doesn't fail so far with the happy endings. This one wasn't at all what I expected and I did enjoy it! Axelle surprised me overall. After I finished, I was like the hell did I just read. But I know this little novella is going to stick with me forever. I'm definitely adding this one to my spooky recs for next year 🖤

This novella was so freaking spicy and spooky!! I loved Libra and her sleep demon so much!!! I was sucked in almost immediately and couldn’t put it down!!! And I loved that she didn’t just let him get away with torturing her she made him work to prove he could be better.

This was such a fun read!!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this being an erotic horror but I was pleasantly surprised! It was dark and bloody but also funny and even sweet at times.
Novellas are usually hit or miss for me but this one was so good! At first, I wasnt sure if I liked where the ending was going but once I got to the epilogue, I was in love! It was perfect 👌

I enjoyed reading this novella. I wished it was longer only because of Axelle. But that ending, I didn't expect to have a POV of Axelle's friend.
Also, your favorite Demon has a pierced 🍆. Can't go wrong with that...

Spooky, sexy, and a bit violent, this was just what I was looking. This novella is perfect if you are ready for spicy spooky season books! Libra has dealt with nightmares and sleep paralysis for most of her life. She struggles to sleep and is always tired. Nothing can compare to the fear she feels in sleep until the same glowing orange eyes find her when she's awake. Axelle is a demon bound to a human. They spend every sleeping and waking moment together. He finds sick pleasure in tormenting Libra in her sleep but when another predator has eyes on her things change. Libra and Axelle have a tension heavy relationship in the beginning. They are both stuck with each other and Libra is not a fan of the lack of privacy. Axelle on the other hand is growing much more attached to his human and finds himself willing to break the demon rules for her. The two go back and forth and the lust cranks up. I love that they are both a bit unhinged and are willing to do whatever it takes for the other. This novella is perfect for a spooky season read.

This novella was amazing! For a book this short, there was a lot happening and multiple plot twists. Perfect mixture of funny banter, blood & gore and spice.
I loved the relationship between Libra and Axelle. The chemistry and banter between them were great, and the spice was spicing. I’m usually not the biggest fan of insta-lust, but it worked well for this storyline. Axelle is welcome to haunt my dreams any night.
Overall a fun, fast read. Perfect for spooky season.

He is her sleep demon chained to her soul and he likes to play when she is sleeping. He thrives on the fear that she shows, he lives for it, it is what sets him off.
I love the back and forth between them it's everything and is just cute and funny.
I love how Libra is such a bada$$ and stands her ground and tells Axelle like it is when he is doing something. I just loved her sass and her push back. The spicy scenes between them though were EVERYTHING 🥵 didn't know how hot it was going to be but damn so hot.

This story was amazing! A demon and a human… say no more! This book was so freaking hot, yet it never once took away from the plot of this story. I just loved Libra and Axelle together.
The ending to this story was beyond perfect and I was so sad that it ended because I want so much more of this. I’m really hoping we get a second book, as well as a story of Amity!
I was able to read this book in one day and really wish I could give it more than five stars. I am obsessed with this paranormal read. This was my first time reading from this author but it won’t be the last. 10/10 read for me.

This book was fantastic. For a short book it wasn’t slow at all and full of twists and turns that were unexpected. I practically inhaled this book!
I loved Axelle and Libra, there chemistry was just perfect and I loved the banter between them. I definitely don’t mind a monster under my bed if it’s Axelle 😍😍. This was a wild ride and now I’m left wanting my own sleep demon….

How Author AB. Cynthe manages to create these characters that are as attractive as they are unhinged is a true art form.

This was my first time reading this author and she did not let me down! This book was fantastic! The connection between Libra and Axelle was amazing, and I loved both of them so much. It was quick to read, had a duel POV, it was humorous, and the spice was hot enough to melt my kindle. If I could, I would have rated it higher than 5 stars. I was sad to see it end!
