The holidays remind us of all the things we hoped would be different by now.
For prayers to be answered. For ultrasounds to bring good news. For wombs and cribs to be filled. For silent nights to be anything but silent. For things to go back to "normal."
We can feel worn out from trying to hold on to hope in the aftermath of pregnancy and infant loss, but there is still a reason to rejoice this year—Jesus, the Promised One, the Prince of Peace, has come, and He is going to come again. In the heaviness and heartache we can have hope and rejoice because God is still fulfilling His promises to us. The death of our babies was not the end. Rest, Advent in the Light of Christ after Pregnancy and Infant Loss will help you hold space for your grief and look to Jesus for your rescue this holiday season.
