THIS BOOK HAS IT ALL!!
A fast paced read flooded with information right from how the life came to to being, to the developments made until today. The progress from creation of the universe till the space exploration done by the humans is all recorded in this book. The authors also predict the future of the science and technology after studying all the history until now. Every theory of the past that is mentioned has a proper scientific evidence and justification to it.
Some parts of the book had way too much of information, names of the scientists, the dates and years which made it soporific in some way. It would have become more interesting to read if the scientific, chemistry terms (which are not known by everyone) were explained in a detailed manner.
Passably an informative read.

Read this one also years ago. Even before I started out Chetan Bhagat. Loved this!

a very good read which ignites a spark of curiosity in young minds. very well written. I remember reading it when I was 12 and re reading it when I got older. Much recommended.

A truly knowledgeable book. Clearly explains the evolution of humans, right from their origin.
