About the author

Dorothy Sander received her M.Div. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, with a concentration in Jungian theory and spiritual counseling. After nearly 2 decades immersed in the raising of her children and running a home based business, she returned to her first love of research and writing.

Resuming her education with current teachers of archetypal theory, such as Caroline Myss, Dr. Clarissa Pinkolas Estes, Sander carries a lifetime of seeking and learning to those who are willing to do the work necessary to end their suffering and embrace their true selves. Sander has authored three books, all of which guide readers toward through the transformation process and toward this end.

She is the founder of The Aging Abundantly Community, for 50+ women who wish to embrace the aging process as the springboard for transformation and a meaningful part of life.

A beautifully written book which stays with us long after it's been read. Sander inspires us with her wisdoms about aging with grace - the hardships and the beauty. She delves into what many women begin to question about things and feelings that change as we age and how we become from our experiences. Each chapter is followed by some inspirational quotes that we can go back to whenever we may feel the need for some uplifting.

What I especially appreciate about Dorothy Sander’s book, FINDING HOPE, is the user-friendly layout. Divided by subject category (i.e., change, beauty, fear, decision), she’s made it a resource for readers to return to—often—to find what they need in the turn of a page.

Love the layout. The quotes add to the chapters and offer other suggestive readings. Timeless read that I will look forward to year after year!
