This series just keeps getting better and better. It is delicious, taboo and everything I want in a smutty monster romance! Our harem keeps building and I'm obsessed with Mari's different males. There is only love, support and trust within the group, including lots of sexy exploration and mutual growth. AH! I could scream with how much fun I had while reading. I cannot wait to see what the next book brings because I'm not sure if my smutty little heart can handle anything more! 😈 (I kid... bring it ALL THE WAY ON right now!!!)

Holy Smokes I sprung a leak that couldn’t be plugged this entire book! And if that doesn’t make you wanna read it, I question your judgment!

Once again Coral delivers an absolute master piece. Spice as usual was 5+ and heavy throughout the book. Scenes were equally dirty and sensual. She writes polyamory with flare and love. I’m captivated by these characters. But it doesn’t stop there. Coral also slays world building and gives a plot that’s mysterious, surprising, and page turning.

Mari and her band of merry males fight to protect what’s theirs while enemy’s try to strip them of each other. Bonds grow deeper while new ones form. Fast packed action and twists at every turn leave us with another HFN. And what a delicious HFN it was!

This one builds on the first book and picks up where it left off, so you definitely want to read this in order. I definitely loved this one even more than the first book. It takes what I've already been enjoying - Mari, Cisco, and Rio and their intense steamy bond together - and we add in new characters and a new element of danger and plotting.

Firstly, I'm so in love with Dante! He adds just the perfect sweetness to this group, and I love how he's gradually included with the throuple. He has amazing chemistry with pretty much everyone!

There is also another new character, Dohal, who we met at the very end of the first book. Super interested in how he will work with all the other guys in her circle. Her magic has been feeding him for years, and he's been trapped underneath the city. I cannot wait to see how things change up in the third book.

I do think what made me enjoy this one more is the increased plot and getting to see these characters out and about, being friends, engaging in non-sexual acts lol. While the steam is super high and well written, I'm still a plot girl at heart I think haha.

Also, what I super love about this series is is this is a true poly romance. Everyone engages with the other, there is communication and consent across all partners. There are different D/S vibes depending on who is present in the moment. I'm really enjoying this, and stuff like this is what I want to see more of!

Eager to get into the third book and see how things wrap up for Mari's trilogy!

This series has me hooked in the best way! Hers to Claim is an absolute ride—monster and paranormal romance lovers, this one's for you. The world the author has created is packed with a fantastic variety of magical characters. Our FMC is a sex witch, and her circle of lovers includes a gargoyle, a puma shifter, a unicorn shifter, and a demi-god.

After Mari’s gargoyle lover killed her ruthless father, she knew that she had a responsibility to the city she helped power, Las Vegas. Beneath the city, a hidden threat stirs, one she’s unknowingly fed with her own magic for years. This dark figure, powerful and unpredictable, now answers her call, haunting her moments with her lovers and promising to burn the world for her. Drawn to the danger he embodies, Mari finds herself tempted by his twisted allure, torn between the life she’s sworn to protect and a dark path that feels disturbingly familiar. Not to mention, something unfamiliar is stirring within Mari, making her feel out of control at times.

This book is mostly spice, and the action and character development often come through in those steamy moments! It's a hot, adventurous read with plenty of twists to keep you flipping the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am eagerly looking forward to book three dropping next year.

I adore a why choose/poly romance where there is no jealousy around the group expanding. Hers To Claim is a perfect example of this. Mari has her OG mates, Rio (Puma Shifter) and Cisco (Gargoyle). They are both incredibly protective and worship her (and each other). There is the powerful entity, Dohal, who has a deep bond and attraction. And the unicorn shifter, Dante, with whom Mari shared a perfect night in her past. Amid the group there are different dynamics (Dom/Sub, lover, mate) but there is no drama or jealousy. Her OG 2 are fine as long as no one hurts or betrays Mari. All of her lovers are open and have their boundaries, so this is basically a celebration of love and consent and exploration. I adored every page.

As well as being incredibly spicy, there is the overarching narrative of the threat hanging over the city. The supernatural beings are fighting an invisible war to rescue those friends and mates who have been stolen as well as protect the wards around their city. Mari is central to all of the narrative threads and she is yet to come into her full power. We see glimpses of what she is capable of, but I think book 3 will bring a powerful conclusion for Mari and her lovers.

With tropes such as paranormal romance, why choose, good versus evil, and found family, how can I say no?? As beautifully written as the first installment (Hers to Rule), and the heat is definitely turned up. I am a fan for life, Coral Alejandra Moore is one of my auto-buy authors!!

This installment continues with Mari, the curvy witch, and her beautifully diverse harem of lovers as they attempt to navigate the chaos left in her father’s wake. Alongside her protective and caring previous lovers, Cisco (a gargoyle) and Rio (a puma shifter), we have the additions of Dante, a majestic and adorable unicorn shifter, and a Dohal, the dangerously sensual demi-god who is caged under the city. Mari is learning about herself while she explores not only her partners but her magical capabilities in order to defend the wards around the city and rescue those close to her that have been taken.

I am definitely looking forward to getting to meet the old one that is sure to make a salacious impact on book three. I truly appreciate how much care and thought is put into each lover and their distinct personalities and abilities as to not come across disingenuous or repetitive. Their dedication to Mari is as beautiful.

Hers to Claim continues Hers to Rule and follows the three paranormal beings Mari, Cisco and Rio in their quest to clean up the mess her Dad made when he ruled the Demon Empire. The three MCs are complemented by the addition of Dante, the Unicorn. Dohal, the strange entity Mari encountered in Hers to Rule, appears to her again, culminating in an explosive ending of book two, so to speak. 😅

This time around there is a little more of a plot, but it’s still mostly hot, scorching spice. Not sure how, but it does work. It’s not for those preferring one-on-one relationships as it depicts a wide variety of intimate relationships, including MM, FF, and paramours.

But if you love scorching hot spice, including polyamory and a bit more than a touch of sweetness with a plot filled with magic, mysticism, magical creatures and a fight of good v. evil, this is for you.

I thought book one was spicy, but book two might've just tried to set my kindle on fire. Once you start reading it feels like you never left - the same core characters are back, sexier and more lovable than ever. This time there's an even greater darkness on the horizon, and the stakes are higher and hotter than ever. Fast burn and spicy would be an understatement - Mari's magic is fueled by sex, and she needs her magic primed and at her fingertips. There is a plot, but a lot of it ties back into the spice, and I cannot emphasize how much there is. I will say I appreciate the banter between the characters, and the way they interact with each other. You can tell that the core group really cares for each other, which adds a bit of heartwarming lilt to things, while upping the tension revolving around the stalker. If you want a story that truly gives Sin City its nickname, then you want to grab this series!

Love a good monster and/or paranormal romance? Don’t worry, I got you!

Hers to Claim by @coral.a.moore is the second book in the Scorching in the City series and is by far one of the spiciest (in a phenomenally great way) books I’ve read to date that features some of my favorite tropes! Featuring a plethora of mythical creatures, such as a winged gargoyle, a puma shifter, a unicorn shifter, AND a demon, this isn’t something you want to miss!

Book one was spicy, but book two turned up the heat by several degrees! This book was a wild ride, with tense and steamy moments between the characters and the threat the lurks below Las Vegas that harbors an obsession with our FMC. Which, by the way, who wouldn’t?

This why choose, poly romance also has a great balance between the characters and the dynamics of their relationships.

Overall, all my monster lovers out there will love this quick, spicy read!

🔸️Honestly speaking, I am bit dissapointed.
The first installment was very promising, the second one didn't live up to my expectations.
🔸️The story itself is a pure er*tica, which itself is quite logical as FMC is a s*x witch. All the spice is super - total- extremely consensual (each single action in every single scene is pre-discussed) which made the story a bit anticlimatic for me. I think the consent thing was taken too far, however if someone is loooking for super safe spicy story that might be a right book for him/her.
🔸️Dohal - I had a high hopes for him (he was intense and darkly promising) but he turned out to be pretty tamed.
🔸️In my personal view, the pacing of story was off. I fought with myself to continue reading. I am not sure what was the main topic -thread of story, despite consenusal spice.
After part 1 I was definitely expecting something different.

Super spicy and bordering on PWP territory, but delicious, this story was a nice addition to the series. Mari is discovering the extent of her powers and needs someone to practice on. Enter Dante, her newest boy toy with a dose of second chance romance. Cisco and Rio are still firmly in the picture, but they are all sharing a small bed. Add in one ancient deity caged deep below the Las Vegas strip, and you've got Mari's recipe for love. She's got to figure out these powers before she accidentally hurts someone, but the primal creature within her is a separate being. Balancing the restoration of her father's kingdom with some search-and-rescue missions, first dates, and playroom antics, Mari's story is getting very good. I can't wait to see how her arc finishes in the next story, and whose spin-off comes first!

Oh man what a second book!

This had everything I loved about the first book, with a few new faces to fall in love with. We’re brought back into this magical world with tantalizing spice, relationships, battles, and the promise of more to come.

I loved learning more about Mariana and how her powers work, it was super interesting to get information for that. She definitely becomes more of a force in this book which has me excited to see how much she grows in the next one. The role Dohal plays is fun as well, I liked the balance the characters had in their playing parts. None of them outshined her or her power.

The romantic relationship between these three Mari, Cisco, and Rio is still going strong. They have found their groove, but this does not mean that the spice is gone down. Nope, if anything it has gotten HOTTER!

The new additions Kima, lion shifter, second in command, Tilly, harpy, Karma, Dasher, and Dancer, Pricilla, sex witch, and Donal, the unicorn are all great. They enhanced the story. Love Kima and her tough attitude. There is Dasher and Donal, who both shared some intimate moments with Mari, Rio, and Cisco.

This second book in this trilogy is just as good as the first. There are so many new additions of variety pf PNR characters to satisfy all paranormal readers. I have grown attached to Mari, Cisco, and Rio and can't wait to read the conclusion to this trilogy.

Book Two in the Scorching in Sin City series is a hot force to be reckoned with!

We are back with Mari (s3x witch) and her 'acolytes,' Cisco and Rio, and we are adding a few more spicy 'others' to the mix. Dohal (horny demon) and Dante (horny unicorn) to be specific.

There is plenty of intrigue, suspense, romance, and spice to be had with Mariana learning more about herself and how her magic functions. The book explores polyamory in such a genuine way and the relationships Mari has with all of her lovers (and friends) (and each other).

I absolutely cannot wait for book three in what promises to be an epic conclusion!

This story has a variety of shifter types in a mafia style setting with a polyamorous relationship. A gargoyle, unicorn, and puma are main love interests of Mari (MFC) who is a sex witch. This book jumps right in where the first left off so read that first. Definitely more spice than story, which makes sense since the MFC gains magical power with her exploits. I like the development of Rio as he heals from past trauma, the sensitivity of Cisco who takes care of those he loves, and how Dante is added into the fold.

Though still suuuuuper spicy, these books also have a really intriguing plot! There are interesting explorations of magic, self-discovery, trauma and healing, and lots of unique characters and relationship dynamics. I loved diving back into Mari’s world and seeing her grow into her power. We get to see her relationship with Cisco and Rio grow, along with how she will move forward with Dohal and we get our sweet unicorn Dante added into the crew.

While they work to find the rest of those missing from the club, Mari is learning to lean and control her darker side. They will do anything to stop Vincent but who is the next big bad lurking in the dark?

I can’t wait to see what happens next in the conclusion to Mari’s story Hers to Keep.

So we got introduced to the lovely and charming unicorn shifter Dante! I’m already loving him too! He’s adorable! I love how so far all her men give her magic what it needs, but they all give it differently and it’s great! Definitely want to know who/what Dohal is. Loving his vibe!!

The spice continues to spice and the “plot” 😉 continues to thicken! Cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Hers to claim in the second in the series (the first beings hers to rule)
Much like the first, the spice definitely dominates the plot, but it also adds to the plot because hello spicy witch. What would be her story without a bit of spice. But enter the shadow daddy of all shadow daddies 🥵 that definitely hit me where it needed to.
The introduction of Dante to her harem was well done and amazing to see. Dante is such a sweetheart and helps round out the harem itself, in my opinion. I am looking forward to the third to see how this character storyline gets wrapped up.

Spicy with a great story

This is the second book in the Scorching in Sin City series and must be read in order. I loved how spicy this book is but not at the expense of the plot. The story is so good and kept me interested from start to finish. The spice is also so very good with lots of variety and partner combos. It ends in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for book 3. Also there are so many great side characters I hope some of them get stories at some point as well.

Oh my! I knew the second book would be as good as the first book!

The romance, the spice, it was all too perfect. These scenes will have your mouth gaping. Who would have thought monsters this sinister can be so naughty.

I loved the story and its amazing characters. Especially the shifters. I liked how all characters were written so unique, I mean there is a unicorn shifter. Sounds adorable and he definitely is!

Will be needing the next book pronto.

I really enjoyed this book! Is such a spicy read but I really enjoyed the plot, now we are getting more and more in depth on the storyline and I am so curious to know that will happens next, how will Mari powers develops and what she will be able to do with them. I am also so curious to know what will happen with Dohal, so many questions mark and I cannot wait for them to be revealed.
The writing is flawless and kept me on the book until the end. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved reading more about Mari and her men. The way she is learning about herself and her magic. I loved the spice that happened. I loved the throwback to characters in the previous book and seeing that they were ok and becoming a part of her journey. That ending left me wanting more
