Two/Face pulls me into his vortex whilst he mends the broken pieces of my soul, he temps me with the depravity of his world, fixing my dented armour and luring out the blazing sunshine he treasures.
I know the face behind the mask, the piercing eyes that burn so deep with desire, love and dominance. Captivated by his darkness, I soon see what drives the personality, the persona and the enigma. Finding my way back may not be difficult, but the choices that lay waiting, will change me forever and force me to face my own demons.
I love Summer and Bhodii so much! Their journey has been such an emotional roller coaster, filled with heartache and pain. But it’s such a beautiful story, and I’m so glad they got their happy ending! I absolutely love the connection they have, and how Summer is the light in Bhodi’s life. Having someone who loves him through it all, is just what Bhodi needed, just as Summer needed some who would love, care, and protect her.
Just like the first book, this one was fast paced, gripping, and suspenseful! I did find it to be a bit more action packed, but I loved every second of it. I couldn’t tell you the amount of times I was at the edge of my seat. I’m so glad I ended up getting answers to the questions I had from the first book, and even happier to get to know more of Bhodi’s story!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is into dark romance!
A big THANK YOU to Lucy for having me on your ARC team, and trusting me with a copy of your book.🤍 I am absolutely in LOVE with this duet!
A dark romance where the sequel is even better than the debut!
There’s a raw grittiness to this sequel that gave me all the dark romance literary tingles. What a fan-freaking-tastic return! Lucy knows how to evolve her characters like a maestro. The demons that war upon the battlefield that is the lives and divide between our two MCs are immense. The only way to healing for both Summer and Bhodi— together or apart is by relinquishing totally, to be fleshed out and left bare to us and one another.
Two/Face started the journey and Summer/Time expands things to the next level. The self-discovery that Summer so desperately needed to realise, she nowhas gained confidence with. And what a sight to see! I didn't think I could adore Bhodi more, but with each unravelling, I was sucked in deeper. The way this guy ticks... just left me a mess! The spice will have the naughtiest of you turned inside out, thighs clenched tight and breathless. When I think of Bhodi and the way he devours Summer all I hear on repeat is “Let’s get twisted!”.🤣💀
May the madness and mayhem delight, the deep dive of back story and emotions rip you to shreds and the dark deliciousness leave you dripping and sweating ‘til drenched wet. What a ride!🖤🤌🏻💦
I thought Two/Face was good but this… oh wow! The first book was left on a cliffhanger and left me desperate to find out what happened next. This book did not disappoint. From the very beginning, I was gripped and I did not want to put it down. It was fast paced, jam packed full of drama, twists and spicy scenes.
I was intrigued by the characters in Two/Face, but I really fell in love with them after reading this book. Summer was tenacious and courageous and as heartbreaking as it was to read what she endured, a part of me was rejoicing with her and feeling proud towards the end. As for Bhodi… where do I begin? It’s rare to see such a vulnerable side to a dominant male character and this was really refreshing. The more I read, the more I thought I couldn’t possibly love him any more. “when the time comes, I’ll crawl out of hell to be with you again”.
I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review. But I have to say a huge thank you to Lucy because ARC read or not, I really loved this duet. Thank you for writing these books, it’s been a wild ride!
⭐️ Rating: 4 stars 🔥 Spice: 4 stars ⚠️ Trigger Warning: Check them first - this book is packed with them (just like Two/Face)!
Right, so this one picks up exactly where the last book left off - and bloody hell, it doesn’t slow down for a single second! This story keeps throwing random shit at your face, and you know what the best part is? You want it all, and you’ll want to hug them tight. There wasn’t a single chapter where I thought, “Ah, finally, I can put my feet up and relax.” Ohhh hell no… 😅
Summer came back strong — not quite as badass as I expected, but still, the character growth was chef’s kiss. I loved watching her grow more confident, finally speaking her mind and showing her emotions. ❤️ That said, towards the end she started to get on my nerves a bit. She began rethinking Bodhi’s past and Two/Face’s “profession” (let’s call it that 😏), wondering if maybe it wasn’t such a good thing and that he should stop. And I’m there like, woman… you knew exactly who they were before you said you loved them! Now you’re scared and want them to quit? Are you sure you picked the right man then? 🤨
Bodhi - my god, this man is a machine. He went through hell in book one, and somehow book two hit him even harder. There were a few decisions that had me shouting, “Mate, what the hell are you doing?!” but in the end, it all came together nicely. Still, come on, man - don’t be such a closed book all the bloody time. She knows you; what’s the worst that could happen? She’ll be pissed for a few hours? Big deal. 🙄
Now, the villains… absolute scum. The kind you’d happily throttle with your bare hands. 😤 I was very satisfied with what happened to Luca and Harry - justice served! As for Monica, I’d have gone with a harsher punishment personally, but hopefully she’ll get what’s coming to her eventually. We didn’t hear much about Eric in book one, and I actually started to think he might be alright… until he wasn’t, i was genuinly said about his death. 💀 Turns out my gut was right though - he wasn’t the r*pist he was made out to be, thank god.
This book absolutely pelts you with information and twists non-stop, not to mention all the action! The last 30% is a total whirlwind - I was on edge constantly, because every chapter ended with a proper cliffhanger. Couldn’t put it down.
Now, one small negative (not about the story itself): the formatting in the Kindle Unlimited copy was a bit of a mess. There were jumps between paragraphs where hours had clearly passed, but without any transition at all. I noticed this issue in book one too, but it’s worse here - not sure if it’s KU being weird or a formatting error, but it was a bit confusing at times
Taking off where Two Face ended, right back into the drama, right back into the plot. It was thrilling, intense, and raw. I ate up every single page. I read it almost in one sitting. The twists and turns kept me gripped.
Bhodi’s character progression was everything, and I adore him! Their journey was perfect. The story, the plot, the characters, the chemistry. The spice…. It was all just so good.
A really great read, Bhodi has my heart.
Brilliant writing, I will pick up just about anything the author writes, because these books, are so well written.
This book was eveything i hoped for. Unexpected twists, dark secrets i didn’t see coming. The bond between Bhodi and Summer getting stronger and stronger. But also the heartache, the pain and the right. A real rollercoaster. But enough surprises. The changes in Bhodi and Summer is evident they both rub off at one another in one way or the other. The book is absolutely one you should read if you love dark twisted man, with also a heart off gold deep down. I really enjoyed reading this one. But be sure you read two/face first before this one. Because this book is the sequel for two/face. One advice there are situations in this book that could be a trigger.
🌻Summer Time 🌻Book Two of The Sunny Sunshine Duet ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
"I'll butcher anyone that gets in our way, when the time comes, I'll crawl out of hell to be with you again."
I have eagerly been anticipating the final book in this duet and L. Williams blew it out of the park! This book dives deeper into the complicated relationship the FMC and MMC share. They become closer by having the opportunity to unearth the gritty, bare bones part of who they truly are. There are greater details given about Bhodi's background and Summer opens up more about her father, while becoming more confident in herself. Both are necessary in order to give the relationship a fighting chance and finally heal and are perfectly done. We also see whether their real life demons can be slashed out of existence or haunt them forever. The spicy scenes are 🔥 and ugh I couldn't get enough! Bhodi is T.WIS.TED and everything I look for in a dark MMC. Overall, this book is wickedly delicious and a must read for dark romances lovers who love sprinkles of thrills, chills and mystery. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your ARC team for this book. It has been an absolute joy! Your the best ❤️. *This is an ARC Team review. My opinions are entirely my own.*
Part I - Two/Face Part II - Summer/Time You can get and read them separately, but I read the combined version, and I'm really glad I did because even then, I wanted more! 😍
I devoured this book! I read it so quickly 😅 I couldn't get enough!
It is a DARK romance, and I mean dark 🖤 if that is your thing, you'll love this! The FMC goes through a lot, and there are so many twists & turns. She's a survivor and a fighter, and I love her! 🫶🏼 Is the MMC a beyond morally grey character that should scare you and someone who you'd avoid in real life? Absolutely. Do you love him and pray for a happy ending anyway? Abso-f*cking-lutely!❤️
There was always some drama, action, or twist happening to keep you hooked. It had great side characters that I also loved. It was really well written, and I love multiple POV 😁 Also, the spice was SPICING 🌶🔥🥵
🌻 Multiple POV 🖤 Dark Romance 🌶 Spicy Spice 🎭 Masked Stalker ☠️ Touch Her & D*e 🔪 Knife Play ⛓️ Light BDSM
This book isn't for sensitive readers, check the trigger warnings before reading.. But if you like a good dark spicy romance with drama and action, you'll eat this up!
I immediately messaged the author asking for more 😅 and thank God she has more to come! 🙌
I finished Two/Face this morning which finished on such a cliffhanger and couldn’t wait to get my teeth into this one straight after!
This book starts with the action immediately. I could feel all of Bhodi’s emotion and anguish, it was so heartbreaking and then something happened which literally had my mouth hanging open 🤯
I don’t want to drop any spoilers…
This book is just as fast paced and twisty, it is total raw perfection! The ongoing character development was great, Bhodi just keeps getting better, and I loved the Two/Face appearance and the introduction of some new faces. The unbreakable connection between Summer and Bhodi is beautiful. The proposal has me questioning what I think is romantic, and as for the warehouse scene 🥵
l Williams, I am in love with this duet 👏🏼
🩸 Masked MMC 🩸 Touch Her and D!e 🩸 Dark Romance 🩸 Found Family
This is part 2 of the sunny sunshine duet. I found it fast paced with lots going on. Story is easy to follow along. Lots and lots of spice. Check trigger warnings as there are some sensitive subjects. I did prefer part 1 over part 2 as I found part 2 to be very repetitive. I found myself skimming over the spice scenes as they started to feel the same each time. The plot twist in this book to me was not at all shocking ( figured it out at the end of part 1). Felt everything in the book was predictable to be honest. Overall it was a good read with lots of spice and some dark subjects that I enjoyed reading, just would have liked for there to be less repetitiveness and some less obvious plot twists. 🫶🏻
Summer and Bhodi, two souls bonded by fate, coincidence and tragedy are tested in many ways. They’re both on a journey of discovery with in themselves and together. Love comes out of nowhere and in this case it came from the light trying to climb its way out of the darkness.
Through trauma, flaws, betrayal, lies, greed and power healing oneself is a lesson to be learned in this story. A family doesn’t have to be related, it’s a group of individuals who love, respect, are loyal and will protect those they care about. I enjoyed every part of this and how each character brought something unique and inspiring to the book.
My goodness, this book was jam packed full of action and twists and turns. I couldn’t stop reading it, I needed to know what happened next. Just as I thought I’d worked out what was happening along came another curveball. I loved how fast paced it was.
I loved the characters, especially Bhodi. The stark contrast between how he is with Summer vs. Everyone else had me GIDDY. The spice was next hot but didn’t overshadow the plot. Just the right amount and the scenes were 🥵🔥
Really hoping we get stories from some of the other characters in the book at some point cos I’d love to know more about Axe and Jimmy 👀
An emotional rollercoaster if ever I read one, and I was unwell so it made the rollercoaster even jerkier.
I have the softest spot for Bhodhi. Fight me, he’s the guy for me. He absolutely grew on me by the time I got through this one, and I can’t stop thinking about him. I challenge you to find a character as intensely heartbreaking as they are courageous, which is what you find in Summer. She’s a stunningly written character, I love her.
You’ve got to read Two/Face or this one simply won’t make sense. And remember, this is an extremely dark romance so the trigger warnings need to be considered.
After reading two/face we were left on the cliffhanger with summer and bhodi and there future hanging in the balance. This book is a rollercoaster of intense emotions with her past haunting her. There are many twist and turns in this book and I love how bhodi and summers relationship and the characters develop whilst facing them. Once I started this book I could not put it down I had to see it through to the end and I was absolutely not disappointed! Highly recommend Please check the trigger warnings
This was an amazing read, def 5 star , Summer and Bhodii hold a special place in my heart their journey is so beautiful the emotions I had reading this unspoken it gelt do deep. They needed each other and they were there for one an another, their love for one another Its to another level. They were and they are fated to be together. Masterpiece I repeat MASTERPIECE !!!
You will def get the answers that were left us hanging from the first book Please make sure you read the first book Two/Face .

I loved this book just as much as the first. It was just as captivating and still managed to surprise and captivate me.
Summer is such a survivor. She really does go through the mill but keeps getting up, keeps going on, and keeps fighting! Our MMC is possessive and dominant and will burn the world down for her, and I LOVED every second.
The ending was perfect and was the conclusion I had hoped for.
Perfect for any dark romance lover, Summer and Bodhi’s story is intense and unforgettable! I enjoyed both books but felt like this sequel really had some amazing twists and turns. Can’t wait to see more from L. Williams in the future!
After ARC reading this book I fell in love with the characters , plot, character development.... and everything else inside. This book also has good spice as well. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Love this book. Thank you so much for it. Xx
I liked the first part more, although this one was more full of mystery and answers. I would have liked the focus to be more on the relationship between Bodhi and Summer than on his work as a vigilante. then the ending seemed too sudden, I would have liked to see how they catch Luca and what happens. I also think that summer's mother got away too easy and I didn't find out why she did everything she did to her own daughter.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The mystery aspect of this entire book kept me intrigued and so invested in the story line. I won’t say too much because it would give away this story and spoilers. The main characters were so complex but also incredibly realistic. Two/Face…. Hot, mysterious masked man…. Need I say more? 🤭Bhodi, the detective who you’ve got the hots for? And he goes out of his way to protect you, might I add. And lastly, Summer, a beautifully written character dealing with trauma and leaving an abusive relationship and being scared and dealing with the aftermath of it all. Her trauma and healing journey was written beautifully and it’s something I continue to think about even after closing this book.
I'm sorry but I don't know how I'm going to move on, This book was everything I needed without knowing it.
These characters have my heart, their community they built when they went through a lot speaks so much volumes. They built strength within each other and gave voice to people who weren't able to speak up. Gosh, this hit me so bad it just felt like their relationship with each other was what so many people would probably need during that time as hard as I was on them it was so painfully beautiful.
The journey between these two books has been a fun quick read. I say fun that is a lie I spent most of this book crying 😢 Then further proceeding to stare at the wall for 20minutes.
I fell in love with these characters so much over these two books that I felt like I was in a favorite show being created in my head that I couldn't look away.
Just the plot was everything I loved how I had no question left unanswered the plot gave me everything I needed. There is so much spice and I te up every single bit of it.
Awwww this book was my favorite out of the series. I just felt it got me more in my feels and just there were more questions answered and focused on the plot and character development.
I gave the first book 4⭐️ But this book deserves no less than 5⭐️
