Annalee Adams lives in England with her Husband, two children and a zoo worth of animals. She loves a good strong cup of tea or coffee, plenty of chocolate and binge watching her shows on Netflix.
Annalee began The Celestial Rose series while at University. She spent much of her childhood engrossed in fictional stories. Starting with teenage point horror books and moving up to the works of Stephen King and Dean Koontz. However, her all-time favourite book is Lewis Carroll's, Alice in Wonderland. Which explains her mindset quite well.

I absolutely love the Gruesome Fairy Tales series by Annalee Adams. It's one of my favorite series and she's one of my favorite authors too. I love the way she writes the story, it always makes me feel like I'm in there with them as a bystander just watching.
Now to my review.
This time around we have a Cinderella gruesome tale!
Wow, completely captivated from start to finish.
Also I was rather annoyed with Danny, as he put "Mollykins" in danger by taking her to the freak show 😤.
I couldn't read this book fast enough and I would love this series to become a TV series or something as they are absolutely brilliant.
The characters are excellent, the story is top notch and the plot is fabulous! I like how it links back to the first book "Gretel" too. I'm very excited to read more when the next one comes out later this year too!
A tale that was both chilling and fantastically feral! With revelations left hanging in Gretel it was another unsettling story with scenes to make you shudder! Perfect for a Halloween read. The spinning wheel was particularly grim. Hard to tear my attention from it, I was transfixed in horror from beginning to end.
I am loving these short stories of the gruesome fairytale series. I liked how this one linked back to a previous story. A chilling, dark and gruesome read.
