Ahhhh can we talk abt how this book literally just owns my heart !!❤️ Angelo and Jade are everything.😖❤️❤️ I absolutely loved the storyline and the plot. The entire revenge thing going on with them was so well written it had me on the edge of my seat every single damn time FRR!!! Also the forbidden love they shared ahhhh just loved it.😻 Angelo the man that you are ahhhh I wish he was my man frrrr and it’s not even a joke cause how can a man be so prefect 🤌🏻😩 And our bbg Jade ahh your the strongest woman and i love you for it. Also the nickname? was the death of me like plss call me that angelo hheheheehhd. The story kinda made me cry and the ending uh it almost broke my heart but when they got their happy ending I was in absolute awww and love. Loved their entire story. It’s beautiful.🥹🥹❤️

Angelo is *Chef's Kiss*, Jade is the fiery type that we all love and their chemistry together is electric and undeniable.
I am so lucky to have been able to ARC read this for Marie and I can't wait to go back and read the rest of the series! Her writing is captivating, elegant and seamless, pulling you into the dark world of the streets of New York with grace.
To anyone who loves a dark romance with tension, revenge, and pining, then this is the book for you!

Honestly wasn’t a bad read. The plot was there but one thing I hate is a fmc who claims to hate the mmc— who apparently insists theyre ran by revenge yet fall into bed with said enemy. It’s not cute.
It wouldnve been brushed under if it wasn’t a deep part of her story but no— no loving, loyal and caring sister would sleep with their sisters murderer. She claims she lost herself when her sister died and all that runs through her veins is vengeance.
So why the heck would you sleep with the man? It’s downright sad. If my sister slept with my murderer, I’d fucking haunt the bitch.
Spoiler— as expected, he didn’t even murder the sister, yet that doesn’t change the fact she THOUGHT he did. Before she even found out the truth, you know when she was sleeping with him and hating him and insisted she was gonna kill him for runining her life when he killed her sister— she fell in love.
On his side, he was an egotistical, cocky playboy and he played his role fine. Even when she betrayed him, he honestly didn’t hate her for it and instead showed her the truth and comforted her.
Another spoiler, he’s apparently been obsessed with her for six years yet she walks in on him fucking his uncles wife in his office. Love that.
Thankfully she wasn’t a virgin fmc cause i would’ve given this a one star. I hate when authors do that, they make the mmc a playboy and the fmc a virgin doormat who’s inexperienced and can’t move on. Hate that.
This book wasn’t like that so that’s a good thing. Woildnr read again, cause is dragged on and her monologue was annoying at times. All she thought about was revenge yet next minute you know she’s kissing him and in his bed.

I'm so sad about finishing this book 😭😭 I got attached to the characters in a way I never imagined. I NEED A SHORT STORY OR AN EPILOGUE OF THEM HAVING KIDS AND BEING HAPPY I NEED MORE!!!!!!!

The slow burn? Pure fire!
The banter? Jaw-dropping, toe-curling, and had me blushing like crazy!
The romance? Ugh, I need an Angelo Lazzio in my life ASAP.
The spice? Off-the-charts HOT.
The plot took me on a rollercoaster—laughing, crying, and then laughing again.
And the writing? Simply beautiful.
1000/10—this just became my new favorite romance book! Marie, you did an incredible job, and I’m already dying for the next book in the Sinful series!!!!!!!!

Jade and Angelo are chef’s kiss!💋OMG! The banter is top tier and the tension is so HOT and let me not even begin to talk about the SLOW BURN, THE YEARNING and the SPICEEEE or I won’t stop. AHGH!😩💚. And Angelo’s gestures for her even when she thought he hates her? So beautiful!!🥹.
I love how the story and growth of the characters followed a stable pace. It wasn’t rushed or dragged. It was just the right vibe and I love how strong Jade is🔥💞

I feel like I’m kind of in the middle with this book. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. The plot was interesting, but I feel like the author focused so much on sex scenes that the story itself kind of got lost.
The fmc was interesting and sarcastic. She didn’t care about the mmc romantically at first, but the second he was around, she was already wanting to sleep with him.
If my sister died, the last thing I’d do to get revenge is sleep with the supposed killer or fall in love with him, for that matter. But hey, somehow the author had to make a romance out of it.
The mmc was so annoying, a womanizer and narcissist, that sometimes I felt like throwing the book out the window. Apparently, he was obsessed with the fmc, to the point where she catches him sleeping with his aunt. And it wasn’t even the only time, he was sleeping with literally any woman who crossed his path. The only reason I kept reading was that the fmc was sleeping around too.
Honestly, I only liked the romance near the very end, when the mmc forgives the fmc after she frames him. But still, I feel like the romance is weak and only works because the sex scenes are good.
I’ll give them a few years to get bored of each other, and then they can get divorced.

I've absolutely loved this series by Marie Annilla so much! Sinful Lies has to be my favorite out of the series so far!
I love in part one we are getting Jades back story, but we are still finding things out about her throughout the whole book.
This was heartbreaking, sinful, and a truly beautiful story!

Okay, *wow*. "Sinful Lies" was *everything* I didn’t know I needed. It’s dark, it’s intense, and it’s packed with that kind of tension that makes you keep turning the pages even when you probably should be doing something else. This book follows Jade, who’s on a mission to find her sister’s murderer. She's a total badass—think femme fatale with a corporate edge. I loved how unapologetically bold she was, but what really grabbed me was how *real* she felt. She’s not just a tough woman out for revenge; she’s layered, emotionally complicated, and I was rooting for her and also wanted to pull my hair out yknow?
Then there’s Angelo, the ruthless CEO. He's icy, strategic, and completely captivated by Jade. Their dynamic? So gripping. Angelo’s obsession with Jade grows in such a perfect way, and I couldn’t get enough of it. There’s this constant push and pull between them, especially as Angelo tries (and fails) to hold back from falling completely for Jade. The way Angelo tries to protect her, while also struggling with how far he’s willing to go for her... it was *intense*.
The tension between these two? So thick, you could cut it with a knife. The plot moves fast, the stakes are high, and every twist just made me want to know more. At first, it seems like it’s going to be a steamy, suspenseful romance (and it *definitely* delivers on that front), but it’s also about power, control, obsession, and the dark side of love.

He is running a high profile and successful entertainment business including an art museum. Jade is his art curator. They have worked together for six years. What Angelo doesn’t know is everything Jade has worked toward all these years is a her vendetta and a vow to seek revenge.
What Jade doesn’t plan for is her feelings for Angelo and their hot as can be chemistry. I love Jade’s character. She’s strong, sassy as can be and downright funny. Their banter is hysterical. They are sizzling all the time.
Their backstories are emotional and the driving force of the people they have become but this book delivers everything. Marie has a way of building the story to an emotional culmination that has your heart beating so fast. I read the two previous books in this series and each one delivers everything you could want in a dark romance.

I love a bold unapologetic female fatale and jade whitenhouse did not disappoint.
I love love jade so much, her strength and character is so amiable like a breath of fresh air.✨
And the writing style!!! Perfecto I felt all emotions, every single one of them, oh it was just so perfect .
And Angelo Lazzio (sighhh😌 ....) where do I start from, this man is so perfect , he checks all the boxes in a dark romance girlie list ( obsessed, hot, Billionaire, Smart, etc) and his love for jade made my heart swoon🩷.

Thank you to my beautiful girl Marie Annilla for sending me your book. Where do I begin?!?! This book was truly phenomenal. Marie’s writing always touches my soul. I feel every single emotion when reading. These characters and this story was so raw and powerful. Jade is quite literally the definition of girlboss. BY FAR ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE FMC IVE EVER READ!!! Reading her so was incredibly entertaining! She holds a level of sarcasm and wit that’s just so funny to read. I love her personality. She was bold and confident. She loved playing with fire when it came to Angelo. Always riling him up and having heated back and forth banter. They did not go soft on one another, they were brutal with the insults. But Jade literally held all the power! She was a force to be reckoned with! The way she had Angelo wrapped around her finger from day one! What a women! She loved toying with Angelo. Her whole demeanour during the book was a fabricated game and it made reading so addicting to read. Angelo just screamed wealth and power. The way he was written you could tell he oozed control but the way Jade had him a leash FOR SIX YEARS?!!!! Brother was down bad and was in denial all this time! Reading Angelo at first I was so iffy he actually pissed me off but he redeemed himself SOOO!! I love how these characters have such extreme character growth! Angelo went from a cold harded ass hole to a man simply in love with a girl who ended up being his entire end. The way this story went about betrayal, love, and grief was so beautifully heartbreaking. Everything about this book was so alluring to read. Jade & Angelo were made for each other, their tension was gold and the smut was impeccable! I absolutely loved this story!!

Angelo and Jade were perfect. The constant bickering, his secret obsession, and her secret revenge were *chefs kiss*. I was truly hooked from the moment I started reading and couldn’t put my kindle down. Angelo’s “touch her and die” attitude and Jade’s confidence, despite her past, were top tier.
Also, any sister bond that tugs at the heart strings will get me every single time. I cried on and off the last 40% of the book.

The book starts off a bit slow but it does pick up just before half way through the book. That’s when I couldn’t put the book down it was really good!! Loved Jade thought she was great! Wasn’t really a fan of Angelo at first but then end up loving him! I would rate this a 4/5 stars.

Marie Annilla has done it again. Jade and Angelo are simply addictive. I've fallen in love again and I'll just keep on falling.
I have been drunk and high over Jade and Angelo. They just fit so well together. Their banter was funny, their arguments crazy and their pettiness was next level.
Getting under each other's skin was their past time and man, did they make each other suffer. They proved that the line between hate and love is very thin and can be easily blurred.
In her pursuit for revenge, she found the first and only man she'll ever love and in believing that his trauma would erase all feelings and emotions, he felt the deepest ones for her.

The buildup between her and the MMC was everythinggg 🥵 I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and the way things shifted between them had me in an emotional grip 😮💨 I cried several times and loved the plot twists and overall storyline. Super grateful to have read this as an ARC.

I loved this one! Marie has such a way with words, it always just draws me in and keeps me hooked.
The banter and the tension were SO GOOD and I was kicking my feet (and crying) the whole way through.
