Omg this was soooo good ! I can't believe that this is the author's debut novel.

Rating : 5
Spice : 2

Tropes :

- High Faes (there are different types of faes so that was super refreshing!)
- Given as an offering
- Socret order
- Training/Combat
- Touch her and die
- Found family
- One bed
- Magical abilites
- Fated mates (not the main focus)
- Bucket list
- Morally grey

“You are chosen, not offered.”

We begin the book with Cress learning that the king has summoned all High Fae families to send one of their children. This hasn’t happened in 200 years, and no one knows what becomes of those chosen. The only certainty: they will never see their families again.

Cress has one month before leaving her twin and parents behind. They give her the green light to do whatever she wants during that time. Determined to make the most of it, she creates a bucket list of everything she’s ever dreamed of doing—and that’s when she meets Trace.

The whole “offering” aspect of the story was well done. The author does an incredible job of building suspense and breaking our hearts for Cress and Trace, who are doomed to never see each other again once the 30 days are over. Cress is a deeply complex character—full of inner conflict yet fiercely loyal. She knows she’s about to lose everything, including the man she’s just fallen in love with, but she can’t bring herself to run away and jeopardize her twin sister’s safety and freedom. Watching her break free from the mold she’s been forced into her whole life, discovering her true self, all while knowing she will lose it all in a month, is utterly heartbreaking. I won’t lie—I got emotional more than once during the first half of the book. I didn't like as much the parts in which she put herself down by comparing her abilites with others but I hope she'll fully become the badass and strong FMC we deserve.

Trace is such a mysterious character. He’s everything we love in a MMC and more. I have to admit, the twist the author had in store for him completely surprised me. The way I GASPED. I'm so happy the author made those decisions for him. It was perfect.

The chemistry and tension between them are BURNING. SCORCHING; They made me melt. It’s even more agonizing because they both know their time is limited, yet their feelings for each other only burn brighter and brighter with each passing day. Their passion is all-consuming.

The side characters are also well-written. Each has a role to play, and you come to know and care for them individually. While some are more developed than others, none feel like they were thrown in just to advance the main characters’ arcs, which was refreshing. I’m especially attached to a few of them, and I hope we’ll get to see more of their stories in the next book.

The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I highly recommend this book.

The only thing that bothered me a little was the pacing early on. I almost DNFed it around the 15% to 25% mark because it felt a bit slow and drawn out. That said, I’m so, so glad I pushed through because the rest of the book was absolutely amazing.

For all the people who thought they knew someone... It's not about what came before; it's about what comes next.

I hope to write about the women you admire, the friends you deserve, and the kind of love you'd destroy kingdoms for

PS: Author..... please, don't break my heart. Make this a MFM story or I'll cry. I AM IN LOVE.

“To No End” is a rare jewel of a tale—gleaming with intrigue, burning with emotion, and pulsing with the kind of magic that slips under your skin. With a voice steeped in wistful temptation, Lexy Night wraps each page in a soft, inescapable spell. Once inside, you don’t want to leave… only fall deeper into this world full of fae secrets, stolen desires, and aching truths

ARC Review:

It is extremely rare to find a fantasy book with soooo many tropes packed in! Morally grey, forced proximity, found family, fated mates, secret identity, touch her and 💀, and MAGIC!

This is NOT a slow burn which I loved.

A world of Fae where using magic is frowned upon UNTIL Cress is forced into a secret order. She has 30 days before her departure in which she indulges in her desires. 🥵😏 while keeping her secrets only to find on the other end she isn’t the only one.

This is the best fantasy I have read in months and instantly became a whole new addiction. I will without a doubt be purchasing every single book in the series!!!

Honestly, I almost DNFd this book.
I struggled through and am I happy that I did? Meh, sort of.
Truth be told, this is really two separate books. Almost directly cut in half, the first 50% and the second 50% could be read separately (actually I would recommend getting a brief synopsis of the first half and skipping it entirely). Some readers will love the first half because that’s where the romance part of the romantasy resides and where the only “spice” takes place, and it was fine, but really the designer should have at least delineated the book into Part I and Part II.
Had I just been left with Part I, I would have DNFd for sure, but then things start to pick up.
Once the adolescent feel of the first half fades away and the training starts there is potential for such a great story.
But here I must confess, that nothing could help me get past the stiffness of the writing and the dialogue.
The writing is very good, don’t get me wrong, and the book deserves some of the praise it is getting (from me that is an “I liked it” 3 stars).
But while the writing is technically well done, it’s, I find it hard to explain, but it’s like a story written for a creative writing class where a lot of words were used, but there just isn’t any emotion behind it.
Everything felt one-dimensional to me.
It’s a fine romantasy, and the plot and the characters are likewise well done, but based on the author’s prose style, this just isn’t for me.

🌶️🌶️

I am super lucky to be chosen as a ARC reader for To No End by lexy night and I just finished it and now I could cry because I have to wait for book 2!
In a world where all the fantasy romance books are starting to sound and read the same Lexi really created something amazing. It is witty, charming, sexy, funny, sad, relatable and most importantly original. You will absolutely fall in love with these characters. Cress the FMC has only 30 days of freedom before she has to be sent to the king for a mysterious offering. She has no idea what her future holds so she decides to make the most of her short time. When she finally is presented to the king and is thrown into the world of the order she is pushed physically mentally and emotionally more than ever before. If you are a fan of ACOTAR, Fourth Wing, and From Blood and Ash you will love this!

Join Cress to leave her old life and join a new “family” and find out all about this secret order! Feel all the emotions along with Cress. Heartbreak, success, fear confusion, love, lust, etc. Now we get to impatiently wait for book 2.

ARC review: WOW this book really was amazing! i loved the first part of the book about cress’s journey with the to do list before getting offered to the king. but the second part was absolutely amazing 😭 the story almost completely changes, we see new characters, there’s a training arc, magic, a beautiful found family! it was completely different from what i read until now, what i loved about it is that the story is original and not a copy paste of other books, despite being about fae. it takes you on a huge emotional roller coaster, i couldn’t put it down because i needed to know more, and before you realize, it’s over 😭
the characters are so well written and the writing was so beautiful too 💙 the only critique i can make is that i NEED MORE OF VARRO 🤭🙂‍↕️ i can’t wait for book 2 😩

To No End
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow. This had no right being that good!
This was a page turner. Unique and exactly what I have been craving with a Romantasy. In this world where so many seem to copy paste the same story.
This had my heart pounding and breaking.

“You are chosen, not offered.”

After centuries of peace between two kingdoms. Fear of the peace coming to an and a vision The King Of Cambria decides to call for an Offering.
The High Fae families must offer a son or daughter. Of age with no ties left behind.
With only 30 days of freedom before entering into an unknown fate Cressida Blackthorn has a list of things to accomplish.
I’m a firm believer in feeling what the author intended instead running theories in my mind. The payoff of this was BIG.
The pacing of this story was so perfect. Lexy had you questioning your own loyalties and thoughts on certain characters.
In the first half you get to see Cress break out of a mold she had been poured into her whole life and find out who and what she is made of on her own.
I LOVE this character. I have no doubts her character growth will continue until she is one of the BADDEST. 💅🏻
Clear from the beginning she was never meant for the life of a lady.
I loved all the side characters. Very clear they each bring a unique strength needed for them to become an unstoppable team.
This one brings everything I love in a magical world.
I very highly recommend you preorder and read this one ASAP.
Then please message me when you do 😅 I want to discuss.
My goal this year is to read more local authors and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Lexy Night.

This book was EVERYTHING. The character development, the spice, the rollercoaster of emotions. The entire time I was reading it, I couldn’t believe this was a debut author. Her writing is incredible and the story has everything I love most about books. If you love ACOTAR or that kind of vibe, then you will love this! I might actually die waiting for the next book 😭 so proud of Lexy for putting herself out there and bringing this to the world of fantasy lovers 🥹🫶🏼

*♡Thank you to Lexy Night and The Realm Studios for an ARC of this fantastic book in exchange for my honest opinion♡*

4.5⭐
First of all.. wow! I went into this book completely blind and I have been blown away.
The writing is spectacular, the storyline felt fresh and I was guessing throughout the book constantly.
The FMC Cress is a strong minded, determined and takes no bullsh*t. She is the main character that fantasy books need. She owns her mistakes, she stands up for herself and isn't afraid to freeze out the people who wrong her.
The love interests in this book are so swoonworthy too, so that helps a lot ;)
The magic system is very unique, and I love how the Fae have concealed wings which are significant to themselves and where they come from.
We all love a one bed trope at this point in time too, don't we!!

I am very angry at Lexy Night for that ending though, I need to know what happens next!!!

3.75⭐️ This was a solid start for Lexy’s debut novel! The world and plot were intriguing and different from many other romantasy books I have read. This book includes magic, fae, fated mates, one bed troupe, secret order, found family, and much more. This story follows Cress as she is told she is part of an “Offering” to the King. Before she leaves, she completes a bucket list and meets several interesting characters along the way. Once her 30 days are over, she is taken to the king where she is joined by several others as they become the Order.

As I said this was a great start to the duology but I do wish a few things were fleshed out a bit more. I also feel more emphasis should have been on the training rather than half the book being about completing her bucket list (although I did thoroughly enjoy this part).

Overall I would recommend this book and can’t wait to see where Cress’ journey goes.

I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for To No End by Lexy Night. Reading this arc was a double edge sword, because it was one of the best books I’ve read in 2025 but book 2 isn’t out yet so I’m devastated. However, Night has uploaded on her socials that book 2 is in the works cheer!!

The book is laid out in two unofficial parts. The first section of the story focuses on the FMC Cress, who has learnt from her parents that the King has demanded the offering for the first time in decades. The King had a vision in his sleep, a dream that told him something was coming and that he needed to restart the offering. The offering requires each Lord and Lady of his realm to offer up one child of age, they will never see this child again and the child's life would effectively be over. No one bar the King and his spymaster knew what the offering would entail. As the people in this story our Fae, a child constitutes anyone in their early 20s.

Cress’s parents have said that she is to be their offering. Their choice was between her and her twin sister versa, but Versa was betrothed so cress was selected. It is also implied that the mother has a stronger connection with Versa, and couldn’t bear to part with her. Cress had 30 days before she was to join the offering, so her parents decided that she could have the freedom to do anything she wanted in those days. She could travel outside the estate without an escort, effectively given a hall pass to do as she pleased. The only rule was that only Cress and her parents could know the real reason for her leaving. Her twin, the house staff and everyone else must be told a lie, so as not to hurt them or spread it out to everyone. It is a burden that is solely for the family to take.

You can’t help but feel so sorry for Cress, her family have essentially called her expendable all because she doesn’t have a man in her life. Although Cress does agree, it does seem that her twin Versa is the chosen one in the family. It must be awful to be considered a spare part to your shining twin whilst knowing you only have 30 days left to live your life, say your goodbyes and absorb as much time as possible with your loved ones. It is a nod to Night’s writing skill that as the reader, you feel the distress that Cress is going through. You feel the twinge of being hurt like that by your own parents, you join Cress in feeling upset and even angry at her parents. The writing is so evocative you have no choice but to be sucked into the emotional whirlwind our main character is going through.

I mean what would you do if you found out you had 30 days left in this life? That you’d never ever be able to come back to a single part of it ever again. You lose your family, your friends, your pets, even the view out of your bedroom window. For all you know, you could be going to your death so you might think that you’ll only have those 30 days to see as much of the world as you could. It’s a very interesting dynamic that Night has weaved into this story, the book makes you think of your own mortality, because you can’t comprehend having to be sacrificed in this way. The closest thing the reader has to this experience is death.

Cress chose the first thing she must do, is to lose her virginity. Sex is a very important part of every adult's life, it’s a right of passage so it makes complete sense that the character would pick this option. She then moves onto a more noble task, of helping those in need. Instead of letting her jewels go to waste in her drawer after she’s gone, she takes them to a pawn shop in the nearest town and then spends her day handing out gold to those of low income. She maintains anonymity whilst doing this, she isn’t doing it for the praise, instead just because it is good. Before finally meeting the man of the hour, Trace. Trace is a mysterious kingsguard from the north. He saves her from an aggressive man who is sour because he lost a card game to her at a pub. They sit and chat, before Cress realises how drunk she is. They ask for rooms and the innkeeper tells them there is only one left…

Every single “1 room in the inn” trope lover is going wild at this moment. Until it turns out that Trace is an honourable man who did not sleep with her, or even share the bed. They agree to meet again in a week, where the slow burn love story starts to take place. They eventually hook up, and when they do Cress’s wings come out accidentally, which brings her shame. Even though we go on to learn this is normal, Cress has been really empowered and confident about her sexuality so far. It was nice to see this small moment of fragility and how she dealt with it.

After spending a good week with Trace, she goes back home to spend time with her family before leaving for the offering. Cress deals with all stages of grief/denial whilst learning to accept her future. We get some beautiful heartbreaking moments with Cress’s last meal at the house. The way that Night has written the interactions between Cress and the house’s staff and with her family is spectacular. You really do feel it down to your core as they read about it.

What would you do if you found out you only had 30 days to live your life?

The book then changes into what I would call part 2, Cress and her parents go to the castle for the offering, they say their final goodbyes and Cress is taken by a high priestess and the king to be reborn. During which, she is branded. The reborning ceremony takes place in the water of the four mothers. She is dressed in a veil, as are the other offerings. After submerging in the water, she takes off her veil and sees that trace is another child of the high Lords that has been sent for the offering. Although Trace now looks slightly different with more tattoos and scars. When they had been together in the first half of the book, he had glamoured his appearance.

At first I even thought that there were two Trace’s, or more importantly, that Trace had a twin and his twin had been sent to the offering. By only having one POV we learn at the same speed as Cress about what is actually going on. I’m a sucker for a good plot twist and that is exactly what Night has given us. Much like Sandy in Grease, Trace was meant to be a summer love. But now he is a broody alt/goth version of his former self, with more secrets to hide about his past than we would expect. Night’s way of providing the unexpected makes this book almost impossible to put down.

This twist in the plot takes us on a journey with Cress, understanding how Trace is there, why he looks different and why he is so goddamn rude and angry to her. They are taken to Elorns in the North, by the King's spymaster Idris, where he explains that Cress and her new family, the fellow children of the offering, will be trained to become members of the Order, a secret group that's there to serve the king on secret missions.

Cress and the fellow offering’s go through intense training, both on magic and on physical strength and fighting. Cress struggles a lot with her magic, but excels in other areas. Throughout the training friends are made and in her case, love is even lost. One of the friends Cress makes is a pacifist who’s powers allow her to dreamwalk. We learn that dreamwalkers are incredibly powerful and can change people’s dreams, feeding them visions and lies. I do wonder if this is a subtle nudge to tell us what happened to the King to make him restart the offerings, a dreamwalker from an enemy territory perhaps? Pushing him into doing something for their advantage, but this theory is never confirmed.

Cress also connects with Varro, another offering, at first they were enemies. Cress’s dad had taught her about Varro’s father, someone who caused a battle where Cress’s dad lost a lot of men. However, the more time they spend together, the closer they get, going from enemies to friends, then friends with bad thoughts of each other. Varro does at first come off as a bit of a villain, and even goes as far as punishing her in training, but eventually he starts to be nicer to Cress. Love triangles always win my heart, and 9/10 times they go my way, but I am hoping with every fibre of my being that Cress fully falls for Varro and leaves Goth Trace in the dirt where he belongs.

Once the offerings have done sufficient training, they are sent on a mission to see how they fare, and to see if they can get some moonstones back from the hands of a big baddie.

The mission unfortunately goes wrong, Cress’s life is in danger and her magic acts accordingly to save herself and fellow teammate Varro, Trace is there and could step in and save her, but instead he chooses to pick the mission over saving Cress’s life. When Cress’s magic that comes from her is far more than anyone expected. It turns out she has a dark form of magic, but she can’t work out why it only appeared now, when she was with Varro as they were both about to die. Obviously Night is pushing us to show that Trace really is the piece of… I think he is, and for that I thank her. I am interested to see where the relationship goes with Varro. I'm hooked and rooting for characters thanks to Night’s clever writing style. She drops her breadcrumbs to bring the reader into the light and I gobbled them up like a hungry goose.

When they return from the mission, Cress is shown a chamber that only people with her magic can get into, this is where she will learn who she is and how the other people with her magic learnt how to use it and control it whilst she also gets closer to Varro. Wherever Varro has been near her, Cress has had a tingling feeling, which leaves us questioning why. But as we think on it Idris appears back, saying they must all be ready to go on a mission, even though their trainers think they aren’t ready to go. As Idris takes the first few, Varro finds Cress and finally talks to her about their feelings and the weird sensations she has been getting. Night choses to leave us on a cliffhanger, not knowing what the new mission is, and what happens now Cress knows she is mated to Varro, the son of her fathers enemy.

Night has Trace and Varro tied in a love triangle with Cress. Trace was wonderful to her at the beginning, but then was rude and ignorant of her feelings during training and then  left her for dead. Varro was the enemy's son, but is now showing her kindness and caring for her, providing a safe space for her to heal every night and giving her encouraging nods during training tasks. Night has included every trope for the fantasy girlies, 1 room in the inn, enemies to lovers, found family, fated mates  and a love triangle. She is one of us, she knows what we like and she served it all up on a silver platter of plot twists and character development. There is no part of this book where I think “oh this could have been done differently.” Plot was brilliant, character development was great, there were no plot holes, world building was phenomenal and we even got a disabled trainer with only one eye. Every single part of Night’s work screams 5 star.

I hope the second installment lives up to the standard set by this book. 10/10 wanted to reread it immediately.

To No End is an emotionally captivating novel that resonated deeply with me on a personal level. As an identical twin myself, I found myself profoundly connected to the main character, Cress. The author’s portrayal of her struggle, isolation, and longing for a life unlived, left a lasting impact, especially as I reflected on the unbreakable bond between twins.

Cress's journey throughout the story was nothing short of heartbreaking and powerful. She is forced to part with her twin sister, Versa, under circumstances that feel both unjust and impossible to comprehend. As someone who has always had a twin by my side, I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to be torn away from that connection. The intimacy, the shared experiences, the silent understanding, these things are so deeply ingrained in who we are as twins. To No End made me think about that bond and how fragile and special it truly is.

The emotional depth of Cress’s character was so real and raw. Her grief and sense of loss felt palpable, and I found myself empathizing with her every step of the way. I can’t imagine the pain she must have felt being forced to leave Versa and everything she has ever known. It’s a level of heartbreak that’s hard to articulate, yet the Lexy Night managed to bring that feeling to life on every page. What truly stood out to me in the book was how the Night captured not just the pain of separation, but also the resilience Cress had to summon to navigate a world alone. I couldn't shake the feeling of wondering whether such a loss can truly be healed. Can anything replace the unique bond twins share?

But To No End is not just an exploration of familial bonds, it’s also a captivating romance. Night masterfully crafts the realm in which the story unfolds, building a rich and immersive world that feels both otherworldly and real. The world Night created is full of intrigue and wonder, which only enhances the stakes of the personal struggles the characters face. There’s an urgency to the atmosphere that makes every moment feel heavier, more significant.

However, what sets this novel apart is how Night approaches the romance experienced by Cress. Unlike many books where the romantic tension is drawn out slowly over many chapters, To No End takes a different route, allowing the sexual tension to build quickly. This fast-paced chemistry doesn’t diminish the emotional depth or believability of the relationship. In fact, Night manages to deliver on the romance earlier than expected, offering readers the satisfaction of seeing characters connect in a meaningful way without dragging the narrative out unnecessarily.

The way the romance is woven into the story feels so natural and right. There's an intensity to the relationship that mirrors the inner turmoil Cress is already experiencing. It’s a compelling blend of vulnerability and desire, one that deepens as Cress learns to navigate her upcoming separation from Versa, her parents and everything she has ever known and discovers a new sense of herself through her relationship.

In addition to the emotional and romantic elements, the novel’s pacing is impeccable. Night strikes a delicate balance between the heart-wrenching separation of Cress with her parents and Versa, the development of Cress's internal strength, and the building of her relationships. The story never lingers too long on any one element, but instead moves smoothly between intense moments of grief and the passionate moments that offer hope and connection.

To No End is a stunning example of what happens when an author blends rich world-building, emotional complexity, and satisfying romance into a compelling narrative.

If you're looking for a story that weaves together love, heartbreak, and an immersive world, To No End is a must-read. It’s a book that will stay with you long after the final page. And as for that cliffhanger, it's the perfect balance of just enough to leave you wanting more, without driving you to pull your hair out.

To No End: Tales of Forgotten Fae
Author: Lexy Night
Fantasy

WOW! I absolutely loved this book! I could not stop reading, and that ending! I need book 2 immediately! We start the book with our FMC Cress who is a fae from a high family. In this world, one fae son or daughter must be given as an offering to the king. Her parents tell her she has thirty days until she must be sent away. She starts knocking things off her bucket list, while also lying to her friends and other family members about where she is going. While she is working on her bucket list, she meets a man named Trace that she starts developing feelings for. What she thought would be a one night stand ends up turning into more.. also I did not know what to expect when she left for “the offering” but wow the story just completely erupted into so much more after that. Her, and the other chosen fae end up being told they are now part of the Order. Where they belong to no one, and must be trained to protect the realm. Each had their own magical abilities and it was so cool to watch these evolve and transform. This book was also spicy so.. heck ya! It was so friggin good you guys. Please, please read this one!

This book completely pulled me in. We follow Cress, a fae who’s just been told she has 30 days of freedom before she must be sent away as an offering to the king basically giving up her life as she knows it. Those thirty days become a mix of heartbreak and hope as she works through her bucket list, tries to say goodbye to the people she loves, and starts forming bonds she never expected.

The first part of the story takes its time building Cress’s world and her relationships, but once things shift, it really hits you. The found family element is so well done watching this group come together, trust one another, and train for what’s ahead gave the book so much heart.

And then that ending. Absolutely no words. I’m diving into book two right away because I need to know what happens next.

If you like fantasy with real emotional stakes, found family, and a heroine you can’t help but root for, this one is 100% worth picking up

This book. This book RIGHT HERE will be everyone's new favorite. I wish I could say I couldn't put it into words how much I loved it, but that's what reviews are here for, so here I go....

First off. Cress is awesome. She knows what she's good at, and she knows what she is lacking....but only in a practical sense. She is not aware, however, of how she affects those around her and her lack of confidence in her self worth is what makes you feel for her as an FMC. She often compares herself to others and finds ways she doesn't measure up, and you just want to hug her.

Secondly, when characters are usually thrown into a new life they weren't ready for, it just happens. Nope, not in this book! The reader gets to watch her plan, make a bucket list, and become emotional. The journey there is half the adventure and so unique to this story!

I won't dive deep here for lack of spoilers, but when I said Cress isn't always aware of the impact she has on others....we have more than one MMC for a reason and that's all I'll say about that.

There are some amazing bombshells throughout this book dropped and it tests the loyalties of the group. The world building in this book is sprinkled in all the way until the end and it is a treat for the reader and a headache for our FMC (sorry, Cress).

The suspense we are left with as well as the promise for more action, deception, danger, and love makes you want even more.

Read this, you won't be disappointed.

Overall: highly recommend

A magical journey that hooks you from the very beginning! Enthralling and entangling, I was unable to put it down as I needed to know what happened next. I was emotionally attached to the characters, protective of our strong female lead, and wishing for the found family she comes to know while questioning them all the same. I absolutely loved the story told, feeling I was immersed in the world along with the characters
The nuances and Easter eggs had me squealing and gasping out loud, being surprised at each turn. The plot twist be TWISTING and that ending?! I cannot believe I have to wait for book 2, I am in a spiral thinking of what comes next.

Man oh man! I’m so happy I was selected for this ARC — I’ve been telling everyone about it because I’m obsessed! I never write reviews, but this book really excited me coming off of my SJM kick.

The pacing kept the story moving along perfectly, and the action scenes were everything you’d want. Cress is such a strong character, and I can’t wait to see what the group gets up to in the second book — the cliffhanger had me 😤 I need book 2 ASAP!

I’d give 1,000 Lorcs to read it again for the first time (IYKYK)

This book was so f**cking good!!!!! The way Night set up the story of this book kept me hooked, she started with a lot of dramatic revelations about the Offering and then you are basically left in the dark about it. The plot follows the FMC, Cress, who is a twin and forced to be the Offering in her family as her sister is too weak for it and she is betrothed to a powerful family. As soon as Cress was given a month before she was to disappear forever, I thought oh okay we are just going to skip ahead in the plot and be at the offering but no... Night decided Cress and the reader were going to on a little bucket list adventure before leaving forever. I feel like in other books we always just skip to the big plot point and all the adventure and character building comes during the main plot of the book. Night took this plot in a different direction and Cress experienced a lot of character growth in her 30 days prior to the Offering. This is where she meets Trace and oh boy does it get wild from there. Cress and Trace spend almost the entire 30 days together falling in love and living life in a bubble and when it is time for them to leave one another they thought it was the end forever. Well guess who shows up at the offering.... none other than THE Trace. Like I said I was predicting some things but as I was thinking it could happen, I really thought there is no way that would happen. Whilst in Basdie, the six individuals offered, Gia, Cairis, Varro, Cress, Trace, and Nori, are trained to be spys and assassins. They cannot ever leave their "school" unless it is on a sanctioned mission, they are to rely on one another and become a family and team. But by no surprise you coop up a bunch of adults in their 20s drama will ensue. The time spent at Basdie was the time I saw the most growth in Cress and where she really broke herself down and rebuilt herself. She learned how to rely on others and have confidence in herself. Now I do not think she is fully there, I know book two will have a lot more character growth in store for her, but I really enjoyed her character. I loved all the side characters except Trace, he I did not like since they got into Basdie.
The ending of this book had the revelation I was waiting for the entire book, and it was laughable that it took Cress so long to figure it out. On top of that getting a synopsis-like POV of Varro, was AMAZING. I really loved him, and it was interesting to see the major parts of the story through his eyes. I think if you love ACOTAR then you will love this book! I do not say this as it is one of those books that are super similar it is almost like a fanfic. This fae fantasy is truly very unique but has the same qualities that ACOTAR has. Readers of ACOTAR will become diehard fans of this book. I am very excited for the next book, and I hope everyone has a chance to pick up this book as it was so so so good!!!

Thank you to Realm Studios and Lexy Night for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

5 ⭐️read - spice 3.4 🌶️ ARC Review!

To No End by Lexy Night - is a romance/fantasy it’s her debut novel and it’s absolutely amazing! I’m open to all genres who ever knows me knows that fantasy and romance are my top genres so once I heard what this was I said heck yeah sign me up it’s right up my alley.

Its very fast paced there’s not a moment where it feels like it’s going slow or your getting lost with the world building there’s moments in this book where you connect with the characters. Not one but all of them and you slowly but surely start to love each of the main characters. Cress is a character you will connect with in so many ways. the steps she takes before she goes on her journey is such a powerful moment and very realistic it’s something i connect with the most.

The found family in this is amazing they connect in away that’s unexpected such as they better each other once they find their role in this life/journey the interesting part about the fae in this story it’s that everyone is different it’s not just one type of fae with a certain gift/power it’s kind of like a group of different type of fae brings something different to the table which was fun to explore.

There’s moments of laughter and oh my god moments in this story it keeps you on your toes in one of the best possible ways. If you love fantasy and romance this is for you! Even if it’s just romance give this a try you won’t be disappointed there’s moments in this story where I was like wait there’s magic in this book reason being it’s a mix of normal topics along with magical ones too.

Overall i enjoyed I’m glad I got introduced to this world and I can’t wait to see more of it. I would recommend this to anyone that’s into romance and fantasy

I just finished To No End by Lexy Night, and OMG, I am obsessed. This book has everything: an incredible plot, amazing world-building, and characters I immediately fell in love with. Cress Blackthorn, the FMC, is hands down one of my favorite heroines ever. She’s beautiful but sturdy, fast, curious, unrestrained, and SMART AF. Her mouth and intellect constantly got her into trouble, and I loved her for it.

And let’s talk about TWO new book boyfriends. One of them rivals Rhysand from ACOTAR (hello, fae daddy with wings!). The betrayal hits hard, the tension is palpable, and there’s IMMEDIATE spice. NOT insta-love, but definitely insta-lust with timelines that make it totally believable. The side characters are fantastic too, each bringing something to the story.

This book made me cry and had me on a rollercoaster of emotions the entire time. I was beyond honored to be chosen as an ARC reader for it, and I’m calling it now…this is going to be a bestseller. I loved the world building and the tropes (forced proximity, one bed, touch her and die, fated mates) are executed perfectly. If you love dark romantasy with morally grey characters, forbidden romance, and a heroine who fights like hell to survive, this one is a MUST. I cannot wait for the next book!!

To No End is everything I didn’t know I needed in a story. The plot is so unique—nothing about it feels predictable, and it keeps you hooked the entire time. The chemistry between the characters is absolutely electric; every interaction, every moment, just sizzles. Plus, the spice? Perfectly done. And the emotions? Get ready to feel everything—love, heartbreak, joy, and everything in between. This book is a total rollercoaster in the best way possible.

Thank you so much to Lexy for the opportunity to ARC read your book.

Don’t walk to get this book, RUN!

To No End is incredible!! The author does a phenomenal job making you fall in love with the characters and feel all the feels. At some point I was almost in tears at what the main character, Cress, is having to endure. And that ending, wow. I rarely look to the “invisible audience” like “did you just read what I read” but that’s exactly what this book did to me! Mouth open and all. The bonus content is marvelous. I love some bonus POV chapters and hope that book 2 will have multiple POV chapters throughout. I always love knowing what the male/MMC is thinking.

To No End comes out January 27th. Pre-order it on Amazon. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

This fast-paced romantasy had me hooked from chapter one, when our FMC Cressida learns of her new fate, numbered days of freedom and makes herself a YOLO list. I felt very drawn into Cressida’s world the entire time, as if I was right there alongside her on her journey. I connected instantly with Cressida. It was a rollercoaster of emotions watching her grow as a strong FMC. Her relationships with her family, friends and love interests all felt very raw and real, and I absolutely loved the sisterly bond between Cressida and Versa!

There is a lot of great foreshadowing and tropes spread throughout the pages of this book, and I deeply enjoyed learning about the world of Demir with its unique world building and magic system. Reading To No End felt like meshing together all the vibes I loved from Fourth Wing & ACOTAR while still reading something entirely unique and different.

Overall, I highly, HIGHLY recommend To No End. It’s SO good! I could not put this one down.

I was so excited to start off my new year being a part of Lexy Night’s ARC team for this debut romantasy novel. It is such a good book, and I cannot wait for book two!

To No End is phenomenal!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I didn’t want it to end. I am completely blown away! The writing is beautiful, poetic even, and the story has so much going on yet it is perfectly paced so you feel absolutely devoured by it. The FMC is relatable and fierce and doesn’t make terrible decisions at every turn 😂 The romance and spice is perfection. The way Lexy develops both platonic and romantic relationships is flawless. I feel like I have journeyed with these characters for a long time and yet there’s still so much more to uncover. Lexy Night is definitely a new favorite author of mine and I am so much looking forward to reading more of her stories!

Even the dedication is beautiful:
“For all the people who thought they knew someone… It’s not about what came before; it’s about what comes next. I hope to write about the women you admire, the friends you deserve, and the kind of love you’d destroy kingdoms for.”

One of my favorite quotes:
“A knife, when it’s at your throat, presents an undeniable reality. But fear is far more dangerous because, unlike the blade, its influence is masked by other emotions: greed, lust, aggression—fear can hide behind all of these, and it is far more lethal in the hearts of those who rule.”

*I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily writing this review.

Didn’t want to stop reading! Lexy does a fantastic job creating her characters and the world they live in. Cress, the female main character, has her life completely changed in one moment. She makes a bucket list of things to do before she must report to the fae kings castle. We get to feel all the frustration, pain, and pleasure she endures during this time. Once at the castle things change again. Cress is met with others who now have the same fate. They must train to defend themselves with weapons and magic. There is love interest in different parts of the story. The heartache that the characters have is enough to make you cry! There are many twists and turns, things that make you dislike characters you loved and love once you may not have cared for. The ending of this book left me reeling and ready for book 2!
