Well, five years ago, our Halloween tradition looked like everyone else's. Corn fields, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, even the occasional hayride.
What we didn't expect was to receive a letter that would turn our lives upside down.
What started as black-mail turned into our favorite ritual.
For the past five years, we've caused complete and utter chaos across the country. This year, the traveling “Bloodstone Manor” has come to our back yard on Devils night.
Can you run fast enough to escape the white rabbits? Or will your soul be sucked and eyeballs plucked?

Another great read just in time for spooky season! I loved this story and the characters but I did feel it was a tad bit rushed, a little more background into each character and more time spent with the kills would have been fantastic. Nonetheless, this is still a great read especially for all those dark girlies that love a little horror and gore mixed in with their romance. I look forward to more form Ashlyn and Redrum!
Exactly what you want from a splatterpunk, horror, smutty novella. Would love to know more about their back story, which seems so interesting. Two killers, husband and wife, devils night, competition, masked mayhem. BuT there is a back plot that keeps you intrigued throughout. A whole load of smut! And they have hearts! You really feel how much they love each other and have morals (funnily enough). Great halloween novella, highly recommend.
Note: If you are triggered by eyeballs (which I now think I may be), do not read!
Who doesn't like holiday traditions?! The garland, the masks, the murder, the gore, the spice! Very festive! I loved their story, and I'm dying for a prequel and a sequel! It was definitely a ride I was not ready to get off of, and I can't believe it was co written, it flowed so well! I'm excited I got to read this as an ARC. It fits perfectly in time for my spooky reads! So if you love splatterpunk/ horror vibes, definitely give this book a shot. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy and Happy reading!
🐰 Masked Couple 🌽 Splatterpunk/Horror 🐰 Intense Graphic Unaliving 🔪💀 🌽 Intense Graphic Gore 🐰 Halloween Novella 🌽 A great time! Remember to read all the TWs 😊
I was good and I can’t wait for the next one. I liked the weirdness of Lilyanne her and Liam seemed to be a good match.
I loved the fact that she had a thing for the reaper without knowing who the reaper is. I felt sorry for Liam when he did what he did to save the girls especially when we find out what his day job is. It must have been hard on him.
Not sure I liked the wording at the end with the fact that the person was talking to little Lacey given what she had been through but maybe that was me seeing it in a sinister way and not the nice way it was meant to be said. Hence why I can’t what for the next book to find out if it was a friend or foe.
It was definitely gory triggers really do need to be checked.
This was my first Ashlynn but my third Redrum book. I may just have become a fan of Ashlynn I am already a fan of Redrum.
White rabbit (A Devils night Massacre) Ashlynn & Redrum ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🔪 🔪🔪 ‘Let the blood spill, motherfuckers.’ I ADORED this book. SOOOOOO MUCH! it is dark and twisted and heart wrenching, all in a tiny little novella size. Idk how these amazing authors managed to fit so much amazingness into such a short book, but they did!! It’s great. And I LOVE the ending. I truly hope we get more of these two!! ‘All I’ll ever need is My Romeo. I’d know if he was near because he'd be hunting me’
White Rabbit has been living rent-free in my head since I finished. I have a love-hate relationship with novellas because they're never long enough to fulfill my need for more of the story and the characters. However, this book will be one of my favorites, even though I want, no NEED more of Lilyanna and Liam!
If you love gore, spice, and possessive couples- this is the book you've been looking for.
I'm rating this book 2.75 stars. I loved it but the book has intimate scenes every 2nd line. I was like, I need story to proceed. A normal number of intimate scenes can be understood but not in every second scene. Also, the FMC has been through enough torture and it's normal to go through pain but instead of describing that, they are again having s*x. I'm like WTH...
* This book is very dark, so please read Trigger Warnings!!!

Tropes & T/Ws:

If you like smutty pitch black romance novella, do read it. Do remember, you have been warned to check the triggers.
Well excuse me while I pick up my brain because it’s all over the wall with this little ARC!
Ummm haha this was the very definition of horror/splatterpunk and 13 chapters of pure gore and smut.
It took me the whole day because of the breaks I took but wow what a ride.
Aslynn and Redrum have done such a good job in delivering something short, terrifyingly cold, real but with a plot full of warm love and devotion. This was so well done. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼I even feel like there is even more material for a continuation 😉😉
If you are looking for something short with a little more gore for this month, this baby comes out on Oct 30th

Holiday traditions: we all have them, right?
Well, five years ago, our Halloween traditions looked like everyone else’s. Corn fields, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, even the occasional hayride.
What we didn’t expect was to receive a letter that would turn our lives upside down.
What started as black-mail turned into our favorite tradition.
For the past five years, we’ve caused complete and utter chaos across the country. This year, the traveling “Bloodstone Manor” has come to our back yard on Devils night.
Can you run fast enough to escape the white rabbits? Or will your head be left on a spit? We collect them after all.
This is what this book felt like to me: a FLUFFY. A bloody one for sure, but a fluffy nonetheless.
I never "understood" or wanted to understand the word "splatterpunk" until I read this book and I LOVED IT.
This has Brynne Weaver vibes but concentrated. This book was crazy as shit and the way I laughed, damn. The twists!!! I didn't even know you could have such a complicated story in such a short time.
I mean, this guy, this crazy, unhinged, serial killer of a husband, IS A GREEN FLAG. (Well, not exactly of course, but still... Lol) He understands her, takes care of her and he loves her so damn much it HURTS.
I've been needing a fluffy read for a while after all the dark books I've read and not even Kayla Grosse did what this book has achieved.
It's a short read (less than 200 pages) and I read it in the afternoon. It's both heavy and light. It was a breath of fresh air.
And the ending, I wanted to cry sooooo baaaaaad. It was such a perfect ending.
THIS. THIS is gonna be my standard for short, dark novellas from now on. The standards have been raised, beware.
Ashlynn and Redrum, this was my first read from the both of you, but I'm bowing at your feet. FUCKING THANK YOU.
Oh my, where to start? I needed a couple of days to process what I read because just wow... Amazing!!
Ashlynn and Redrum did a fantastic job telling Lily and Liam's story in this novella and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to read it as an ARC!
But also like I need the next book now please haha
If you haven't yet, order it as it comes out this Friday the 18th!

"One, two, we're coming for you. Run, little rabbit. Run."
Lilyanna FMC unhinged badass who has an Eyeball fe/tish 👀 Liam MMC unhinged husband who gags when his wife gains said eyeballs 😆 Well you guys did me in, may I never look at buttered corn the same again BUT this book was incredible none the less 😉 these two serial unalivers spend 364 days a year being good loving, hard-working parents. But halloween/the Devils Night? Yeah no that is when the fun happens 😉 though this year is especially interesting when some of their pasts come out to play, will the Secrets That come to light be the thing that breaks them? Or will it just bring them even closer even even more places 😉👉🏼👌🏻💦
This was definitely one hell of a ride in the haystack! I cannot wait for you all to read this 🖤😘 coming sooner than you may think 😉
Initially the first 2 introductory chapters of the MCs were great. Unfortunately for me, I feel scenes were rather rushed and not as in depth as I personally would have liked them. I understand it was a rather short book but I would have liked to see more description in the spice and more description in the murders. It felt very repetitive and samey after the first few times. It personally wasn’t a good read for me. However this does not mean that it may not be for someone else! This is no way a negative review despite the rating I am giving. This is just personal opinion and I implore you to read it and give your own reviews. Do not base whether you should read it or not based off my review. Everyone has differing opinions and I hope the authors of this book do not see this as a negative x
Holy wow! I received this book as an ARC, and I DEVOURED this book in a day! This book was filthy and gorey, and I was so freaking here for it.
Lilyanna and Liam are absolutely addicting and incredible characters! I love how beautiful and twisted they are! I thoroughly enjoyed these characters and how they were written.
I can't think of a single thing that I would say i disliked about this book. It was so intense, and the writing was just fantastic! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a quick gorey and toe curling spicey read.
Please, as always, check the trigger warnings because there are some graphics scenes and heavy topics throughout, and your mental health matters.
Hot, steamy, bloody, full of gore and eyeballs. Definitely a perfect read for Halloween time. Ashlynn and Redrum will have you wanting more of Lilyanna and Liam and the end of this. I definitely did not want this insane couple. A couple that unalives together, stays together, and these two were meant to be in every sense of the word.

This is my first splatterpunk read. These two authors definitely gave their all and I have to say this is a dame, twisted, thrill ride of a book. Perfect for spooky season or just a little horror in general. It’s filled with a ton of spice and the ending was like “what!” I did not expect that.
4 stars because this book was really well done but some parts I got lost because I guess it kind of was too quick, I had to reread a couple paragraphs to really understand. Like I said this is my 1st read on this type of genre, so I’m sure it’s just me. I did really enjoy it though. Love me a good, spicy, spooky read!
I really enjoyed this 100 page splatterpunk novella- wish there was more to it tbh. FMC Lilyanna and her husband Liam are hardworking parents, for 364 days a year. That 365th day? They are letting their monsters come out to play.. and they have no chill. This gives a whole new meaning to eyeballs because MAN does Lilyanna love them.. maybe a little too much? lol I loved the Bonnie & Clyde aspect it had to it, a couple that kills together stays together
White Rabbit was a fun little splatterpunk/horror novella following an established couple, both having a past as k1llers that is catching up to them respectively. The gore aspect was entertaining, we got a lot of eyeballs enjoyment. The spice was too quick to the point, although present, for my personal taste. It was nice to read about a couple with history instead of two people developing one.
My GOOD LORD JESUS. Forgive me for I ate this shit upppp. I haven’t read any of Redrums work.. time to change that! Honestly this book flowed so smoothly and that ending thoughhh. I think I know what’s coming and I’m so excited! This is a gorey smutty Halloween novella and was absolute perfection.
Perfect book for the season loved the story line loved the horror it’s got amazing spice and lots of twisted ideas loved every second of it hoping there’s more to come or more from Ashlynn and Redrum they work amazingly together and come up with an outstanding book I’ll definitely be adding it to my Trophies Ladies well done
It's my own fault though, this was a free book and I should have known... smh I should have known 😔 Read the synopsis and thought it would be right up my alley... *le sigh* how wrong I was. Just brutality and sex with a hint of a plot. The couple has sex pretty much after doing anything ie kill a girl- have sex, kill a guy- have sex, eat- have sex 🙄 like wtf.
Oh Ashlynn, I have no words. This was the most unhinged book I have read since spooky season started and I loved every second of it. Lilyanna and Liam have an instaiable appetite, not only for each other but for blood. I can't even finish this review because I don't want write one with spoilers but I want to tell everyone about it all. 5 star read!
Ever have a fantasy about a serial killer ? If so this is the book for you - Darker than anything I've read in awhile ... loved the build up and then the ending.. Great novella - definitely recommended
4.5🌟 4🌶️ So I really liked this, I think. It's definitely a WTF am I reading but I'm pretty sure I was here for it the whole time. I also realized lately that I may be dead on the inside so you take that how you will 😆😆😆 I was actually really nice having an established couple as the main characters. I feel like I don't read that very often. On top of that there are a lot of times in books that once the main characters get together I stop caring anymore😅 but I was super interested in what happens to them the whole time. And the relationship between them was super smutty too. There was a lot of gore and murder. So basically everything you sign up for when you read an erotic horror. I was a fan, and would recommend to those that are into this genre.
