Aisling Gallagher and her brother, Flynn, come up with a plan to make Áedán Ó Ciaragán fall for her so she can ask him to forge an alliance with her family to boost their power -simple; no, of course it isn't.

I know this is fiction but I did struggle with the plotline, especially what Aisling did, and had to keep doing, to catch Áedán's attention; from earlier books I didn't feel this suited her personality. He's not a nice man at all and has a very cruel and perverse nature that he uses in his 'games' in order to find loyal followers. As with all stories there's betrayal from unexpected sources.

Saying that, I did enjoy the push and pull of these two characters and how they get to their happy ever after.

Aisling is one tough cookie that forms a plan with her family to unite with Aedan in hopes of boosting their power. She is formidable adversary one that gives Aedan a run for his money. They both have their own agendas but will love win in the end.

💞💖💞 Áedán and Aisling 💞💖💞 This is a dark romance by S.R. Watson and Ryan Stacks! It's the fourth in the Gallagher Crime Family and I can definitely say it kept me on my toes. Awesome book, series and authors!.
