Bad things happen in threes. For Nora Jamison, this couldn’t be truer. Her grandmother just passed away, her best friend is in trouble, and she just hit a man with her car. It cannot possibly get any worse. Wrong! Nora quickly finds herself thrust into a world she never knew existed. Werewolves are real, and they are after her and the mysterious stranger she hit. Running for her life, she ends up on a ranch in Texas. Stuck in a new, unfamiliar world, she gets to know the man that helped rescue her. Daniel McKinley is different than anyone Nora has ever met. Despite his rough exterior, Nora can tell there is more to him than meets the eye. However, Nora has a tiny secret of her own. She can only hope that when Daniel learns it he will still look at her the same way.
Daniel McKinley has always been a loner. His father trained him to be an alpha through brute force—not through people skills. Now that Daniel’s older brother is alpha instead, he has become even more of an outcast. Despite their differences, the wolf in him craves the acceptance of his brother—his alpha. While trying to prove himself, he is involved in an accident that draws a human into the line of fire. Unwilling to see an innocent hurt by the enemy wolves after him and his pack, he vows to protect her. Nora is kind, caring, and strong. His past is dark and he fears if she learns too much it will scare her away. Although, he tries to keep his distance, there is something about her that draws him in. Can he keep Nora safe and earn his brother’s trust in the process?
I am happily married to my husband of almost nine years and have two wonderful children.
I have always loved reading and writing and am thrilled to have published my first novel.
Paranormal romance is my go to genre and the genre I prefer to write in. I love the unique feel of creating an entirely different world and implementing it into the human verse.
This third book in the Werewolf Wars is full of suspense, intrigue and battles with the bad guys.
It had me rooting for the good guys during battle and crying for the losses they suffered.
I was very happy for Daniel, he was always considered the bad guy throughout the first 2 books, but in this one he finally proves himself good and finds the love he has never known. Daniel finally gets his just rewards, Nora and the love of his sibling
The evil Juarez Alpha also gets his just reward, but will the Harris Pack face an even worse Alpha now?
I can't wait to read the 4th book in this very compelling series.
This book is so worth reading, the whole series is.
Thank you for this wonderful series Bethany and please hurry with book #4!
I was given the privilage to Beta Read this novel. This is the 3rd installment in Shaw's Werewolf Wars Series. I enjoyed the previous two novels, but have to say this was my favorite by far. The story never left me flat. I kept wanting to read, to see what would happen next. When it ended I was sad, but knew that a 4th book is planned for the fall of 2014. So much action!!! Along with a tender sweet romance. Daniel is my new book boyfriend...SWOON!!! For all of you romance junkies, paranormal and action fans, this is definitly a read for YOU!!!!! Look for its release on June 10, 2014!
These series are truly awesome, they're about to give me what attack. Daniel and Nora were great together. I'm so happy that Devin is coming around and starting to trust Daniel some. These wars still have to be finished it book 4, because i don't think my heart can take anymore excitement.lol. Great job Ms. Shaw.
Yes this a book, but it's really hard to find an author that is able to have you so engrossed in a book that you cry. This storyline was amazing, it has me captivated from the start. I would recommend this series to any person that enjoys reading paranormal books.
So much happens in this book a lot of good and some bad!! But they did it!! The enemy never saw them coming!! Lark and Nora are very smart and a great asset to the pack! And I had a feeling Vincent and Sarah were alive!! Here we go to lost and found. Great story and so detailed you'll love it
The Harris pack has bbeen attack by Medicalf pack . plus they captured females to breed for them. A lot more happens in this book. Great read and recommend this book
Right from the start we're put into an action scene which I just love because I hate all that beating around the bush crap, just get to the good stuff you know? In this book there are more then one POV but I try to focus on the blurb's characters and that would be Nora and Daniel. I mean I love to see how the other characters are doing but I just wish the author would put whose dang point of view and couple we're reading about (figuring out what couple we're reading about is easy) but sometimes the point of view is not. Sometimes I think Daniel is just too honest and it just doesn't help him out any, "I went out with Vincent on occasion. Although, there was never any promises of a relationship. Any girl I picked up knew it was just a one-time thing. Vincent was the one who led girls on and took them out a few times before moving on to the next." Then there were the times that Daniel was honest that I loved him for it, "I can see where it might bother someone," Daniel exhaled. "But, I'm just glad to have you in my life." Nora smiled peering up into Daniel's eyes. He rolled over, draping himself over her. As he entered her again, she realized that maybe he really didn't care." (by the way that doesn't mean Daniel doesn't care about Nora this is from a scene where something happened before this and Nora asked a question.) I liked this book so much more than the first and second. Once again there was a scene I did not approve of and I really did get on the computer and yell at the author the woman is so lucky that I no longer want to kill her because I read the next little outline for the next book.
Nora was a great character for this story. It was so funny that she hit Daniel with the car but at the same time it wasn't. I absolutely loved how strong willed she was and wanted to help out. She had a great attitude and a great personality. She was an excellent character for Daniel and I loved them together. Daniel had such a hard life when he was growing up and I loved how the story went with him. Im glad he found someone of equal personality as him. Loved how understanding and quiet he was in the story in some areas. He overcame a lot of obstacles and was better for it. Nora hit Daniel on the way to the car heading to her best friend. In the process she ended up in the middle of the war with Daniel who turned in front of her to protect her but at the same time trying to get a leeway for them to get him home. She ends up learning techniques to try and help out with the war. At the same time she ended up getting close with Daniel. She had a condition not really a condition but she was scared of what he might do when he finds out because usually everyone runs off and leaves. I love this series and look forward to the next one. After you read one book you want to keep reading and living in the world with the characters. I love learning about each character and how even if you are focused on a couple you still learn about the other couples from the previous book. You feel the excitement, sadness, and happiness with them as the story progresses. Bethany has done a excellent job with this series. I recommend this series to anyone that loves paranormal romance!
Finding Our Way (Werewolf Wars #3) by Bethany Shaw
Overall Rating: 4.5 Stars
This book has it all, suspense, action, love and werewolves. Bethany is brilliant, the details she books into this book is remarkable, and very interesting. I received a copy for her blog tour, and I was quite intrigued on page one, all the way to the end. Nora goes through a lot, she loses her grandmother, but then Nora is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She is driving and BAM she hits someone, then that is when she see them. The werewolves, and she also meets Daniel who she had hit with her car. Daniel protects Nora during an attack, there is a war in between families and now Nora is caught in the middle of it. Then she finds out that her best friend has been hiding a secret from her for four years. She also finds out things about Daniel as well when she is in Texas with the wolves and her best friend. This book will not disappoint. Bethany does a great job with the main and secondary characters. The fighting is intense and well written and thought out. I don’t want to give away the story but this series is a must read. The wolves are hot and the story line will have you wanting more. Thank you Bethany for writing a brilliant book and series, I’m a fan for life.
Finding our Way” by author Bethany Shaw is an amazing read. It is the third books in the series “Werewolf Wars”. I fell in love with the author’s first 2 books in the in series and now I am addicted. The story is very addictive and flowed so very well. I felt the emotions of the characters, especially Daniel. I know that many people might like series that continue the story with possible cliffhangers (no cliffhanger); however I realized that this book/series was like a show on TV. Although everything might not get tied up into a pretty bow, the anticipation for the next book is there. I cannot wait to read the next in the series to find out what will happen in the war of wolves. I want to know how the people in the books will be and most of all I want to see the continuation of Daniel and Nora’s relationship but also the others in the books. I am totally a reader and I know what I enjoy (and my sister cause she knows what good choices I make), this book, the whole series is totally worth the time and money to read. Author Bethany Shaw has gained a new fan and I will recommend her writing to all others who enjoy such well-written, sexually intense, and wickedly hot books.
Nora and Daniel are literally thrown together when she hits him with her car.while he is making his escape from the enemy pack. Nora is already on a mission with disaster after her friend April, leaves her a frantic message about her being in danger. Little do these two know their future and their destinies are inexplicably tied to each other. It is only after Nora talks with April and is told to trust Daniel that she starts to relent. As the drama surrounding the pack unfolds, Nora gets a glimpse of the turmoil the she has become enmeshed in. She now knows she is in danger of being taken as a breeder. As the pack and the humans who have aligned themselves with the wolves prepare for this war, these two draw closer and closer together. Always a loner, Daniel now has a woman who cares for him and he for her. He will do anything to protect her. And as the drama around them all continues, families who were once separate, now start to become close. The journey is far from over....will they be able to overcome loss and pain to find their way ?? We the wolves continue to make a stand or will they be driven back ??
This is the third book the The Warewolf Wars series.
Daniel is a wolf with a questionable past and many things he has regretted. He is struggling to make a place within his family and to prove that he is good and trustworthy to those that are still doubting him.
Nora is a human trying to find her best friend that seems to be in trouble. Nora and Daniel literally run into each other and danger, violence, drama, and a budding romance ensue.
Nora is intrigued by the tough and quiet Daniel and sees him as no one else does. Daniel has never had a relationship and has so much going on, do they have a chance?
This book is wall to wall action with a fantastic flowing story. The characters grab your attention and you become invested in their outcomes. The characters are believable and I really enjoyed their journeys even through the heartbreak. This is a great series and if you love a good shifter romance that will grab you by the seat of your pants and take you for a ride, you don't want to miss this series.
This is a series but each book can be read separate but you get more reading them in order.
This review is from: Finding Our Way (Werewolf Wars Book 3) (Kindle Edition) In this third installment of Werewolf Wars, the action continues with heart stopping opening. Nora Jamison is in search of her best friend April, when she crashes into Daniel McKinley with her car. When she tries to help Daniel, she notices that he is different in some sort of way. While being injured himself, Daniel still tries to protect Nora because he doesn't want another human involved in their on going battle with the Gulf Clan.
As the story progresses their mutual attraction for each other intensifies. The two of them are constantly second-guessing what the other is thinking or feeling. Daniel is the reluctant hero through the book, constantly trying to prove himself to his Alpha and big brother, Devon. You can't help but fall in love with him. The story is full of heart tugging emotion and it sucks you right in.
This is another awesome story by Bethany Shaw that is a pleasure to read. I received this book as a gift and this is an honest review.
And once again Bethany Hawkes has managed to surprise me. Out of her magical imaginative hat she has pulled out another character that astounded me with his redeemable qualities. Daniel, what a pleasant surprise and how intense yet lonely was his existence. At first, thought by some as a traitor, he shows us that like all his siblings he possesses a depth of character, even though he does not think he is worthy of love. Enters Nora, compassionate, strong and loyal no matter what. Together they are like screws and bolts, they fit perfectly. Devon and Lark are here and so are Gene and Natalia. This book was action packed no question about that. I even tried to loudly support the gang during the battles...my breath hitched a couple of times and the ending made my heart stop for a second..I swear... I'll be damned if I don't eat my fingernails until I start the next one. I was gifted this ARC in return for an honest review.
This is the third book in this wonderful new series.. Daniel has been trying to gain the trust of his brother and his new pack..Nora has been having a run of bad luck. Her grandmother passed away, Her best friend is in trouble and as she makes her way to help out her friend she hits a man with her car.. Or is he a man? All of the pack members from the first two books are back and still fighting with Juarez and his Texas pack..Will they finally over come Juarez? Will the human females be able to help? And will their men be able to keep them safe? Very well written, its nice to see Daniel finally accepted and trusted with in the new pack. He finally gets his happy ending with Nora.. Can't wait to read the next in this series. recieved this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review
Exhilarating, Action packed and very entertaining I loved the love story between Nora and Daniel in this book. As the war continues life must still go on for some at least. Others find it hard to continue. A lot of things are all happening within this story but it’s so well written it’s easy to follow. I was also very happy to find out at the end whit the blurb about book #4 that there will be another book in the series. Even though this book had a clear ending it still felt like a semi self contained story, feeding off the other books, enhancing them. Well written and very enjoyable to read. The main background story of the war is ever present but still has time for the love story to bloom between Nora and Daniel. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this third installment of the Werewolf Wars Series. These books just keep getting better and better. I love Daniel. I'm glad he finds someone that understands him, and is willing to look beyond what he shows to everyone. Nora is a strong woman, that doesn't let people tell her what to do. She is loving, and gentle, and the perfect match for Daniel. Their passion is electric! I'm glad that Daniel and Devon finally start to really work on their relationship. I'm really glad that Juarez gets his comeuppance! This book has it all, action, love, romance, tragedy, humor...what more can you ask for?! This is a MUST read! I highly recommend it! Can't wait for the next one!
So many emotions go through you as you read these books. In this one I found myself constantly tensing and sitting on the edge of my seat, to see how everything was going to end! Loved Nora and Daniel, they're just both the outsiders who are trying to find their own way and fit in! The very ending was perfect. But the sneak peek into the next book.........OMG I can't wait!!!
Daniel is so quiet but at the same time somewhat sure of himself and not so sure of himself, when it comes to his family! I was so glad to see Devon and Daniel to start repairing their bond. Overall its a great read, and I can't wait till the next book!
As a fan of the brooding, mysterious outsider, Daniel, I was excited to read his story in the installment of the Werewolf Wars Series. I enjoyed his slow progression into earning his place in the pack, and it didn't feel rushed, or false. The author didn't hurry his acceptance just to make readers happy, and I applaud that. The tension is thick, and long-standing within the ranks of the pack, and the animosity and lack of trust feels genuine, making it more relatable. This storyline was full of highs and lows for the pack, as well foreshadowing of more to come. I will continue to read not only this series, but other writings by Bethany Shaw.
At last Daniel may be able to enjoy the love of his family. He has had such a hard life with his idiot of a father and very stubborn older brother. He has helped the women escape from Juarez. While running for his life he is hit by a car. Nora is on her way to her friend aprils house. Unknown to Nora she is now involved in a werewolf war. Will Daniel be able to keep her safe? Will all of them free the captured women? Can they end Juarez once and for all? Life is looking up until Vincent and Sarah are captured. Could they really be dead? I sure hope not. Time will tell. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Ever since reading about him I wanted him to get his own story and his own redemption. It just seemed fit that amongst all of that bad people there's one good soul who had to get their own book. Daniel, despite his past, is a good person. I am so happy for this book and because I got to read it.
And I love the ending and the brothers bondong, even if it was a small step forward. I really want to continue with the next book right away. This series is addicting for me. I could continue reading just them for the next few months.
Daniel has been abused and hurt . Then Nora hits him with her car. She can not believe her eyes when he turns into a wolf can he save himself and this woman.. This has a lot of action in it. I can not tell you how much I am loving this series not one that you want to pass up. Daniel and Nora's are such great characters. I loved the ending with Juarez. The family is feeling such a loss from the ones they lost, but surprises are waiting for them. You do not want to miss can not wait for the next part of the series.
book 3 ,once again a great story . very well written , .if you enjoy paranormal , wolves, get this series. lots of action with the war between the packs. I enjoyed how the characters from former books are still involved in the storyline and how Daniel and Nora grow together . don't miss out on a great series.
Intense, action-packed, & full of new surprises! I've been awaiting this release since I read 'Into the Unknown' earlier this year. I have enjoyed these characters and their journey, & wanted more, more, more. Finding Our Way did not disappoint! I shall await the next book with much anticipation as I'm looking forward to more of Daniel & Nora's story as well as what Juarez's crew is planning.
FanFreakingtastic!!!! This may have been the best one yet! The only negative was I finished and have to wait months for the next one. Daniel was great to get to know. Not who I thought he was at all. Nora is perfect for him and so loveable. I know it's not over yet but things are turning around! Definite must read, romance, drama, action, fantasy it's got the lot!!!
Well written book of suspense, obstacles, love and emotions as Nora and Daniels' story plays out. They both have obstacles that they must overcome themselves as they both fall in love with one another as you continue to read!
You will be caught and sucked in right from the start!
