A Killer's Night

Rate this book
The stakes are personal in FBI Agent Jo Pullinger’s latest case…

Robert Grantham has been in charge of the Seattle field office for what seems like forever. Despite his long tenure, he’s shown no sign of slowing down. Until now.

Immediately after a work trip to Idaho, Grantham announces he’s stepping down. To Jo, none of it feels right. She believes someone is blackmailing her boss. And she aims to find out who.

The quest for the truth will take Jo into the heart of darkness. Sinister forces move in the night, slowly eating away at the foundations of the FBI. Hounded by a dangerous henchman named Ronan Carver, Jo and her allies will do whatever it takes to find justice.

But this might be one case that’s too big to crack.

The gangs all together

Jo and McKinley are thrown by their boss’s announcement and don’t believe it. Their search quickly leads to danger for them all and Ford is sent in for help. A new character, Ronan, is introduced and I enjoyed the slow view into his personality and background. Seeing Robert in a retired role was fascinating, especially as we saw the pantry in more detail, but also with the cute pajamas!!The ending was fitting for them all and I hope for more books with Jo and the gang.

Another thrilling instalment

Another thrilling instalment in the Jo Pullinger series. Full of action from beginning to end, and with the great new characters of Carver and Harvey, I really enjoyed the story. And with exciting developments between McKinley and Larkin, as well as Jo and Ted, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in future! Highly recommended for all thriller lovers. Bring on book 12!

A real thriller

I think it would be nearly impossible for Thomas Fincham to write a boring, run of the mill story. He has absolutely done it again by capturing my undivided attention to the point of losing my self in the pages of this book with all the heart pounding action. Highly recommended!

Good good good

This was a great story. The characters make it awesome. Everyone working and risking their live lives to put away bad people. A noble cause in real life from those that serve. I like the new addition of Ronan. Lots of suspense and intrigue. A book not easy to put down

This series is addictive. I love how the characters interact, and the plotlines move in unexpected directions. The writing style is easy to read and the pages just fly by. The ending is very satisfying but I can't say I saw it coming.

Amazon won’t accept my review tonight so it’s just here on Goodreads.

Dense storyline with ends wrapped up by the last sentence.

Nicely woven tale of just desserts and stalwart, moral characters.

Not my favorite

This was a slow read for me. I love this series of books, however it was just ok. I do love the continued character growth in all the characters.
