I really appreciate that this author releases her books so close together. I never forget what happened in the book before because they are always released a few months apart.
So I didn’t like Svetlana in the first book of this series. She was the annoying friend who always got the FMC in trouble doing things she didn’t want to do. I liked her more in the last book and I did like her in this one. I also did like Vitya. He pushed Svet away at the beginning because he didn’t think he was good enough for her. I usually don’t like when the MMC pushes the FMC away but his POV showed how much he loved her and how much he was obsessed with her. He was also celibate which made it even better so him pushing her away didn’t bother me too much. They finally get together at about 40%.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the baby trope here. It’s not either of theirs. Vitya finds the baby and Svet helps him take care of her but I wished they had gotten together before they found the baby. I feel like that took up a lot of the attention.
I will say I was pretty bored reading this one. It doesn’t have the suspense of the other books. At like 70% I was like omg the author doesn’t have a million sex scenes like in all her other books but then she proved me wrong when there was a 26 minute chapter that was just a sex scene. Naturally I skimmed it because it didn’t need to be that long. I did find myself skimming other parts of the book because it lagged a little.
My favorite parts were when the whole family is together. They are so much fun, I love them. I’m surprised to see that there doesn’t seem to be a manwhore in sight!! Unlike the last series where 2 of the 4 brothers were manwhores, this series doesn’t seem like there’s going to be any which I’m very happy about.
I did think there were too many V names though. Her dad’s name is Vitaly, her brother is Val and her man is Vitya. I kept getting things mixed up because they’re too close in name.
I can’t wait for Val and Yelenas book. Two cousins in love (non blood related) but they grew up together so it is a little taboo. Mia and Dario are definitely getting a book after them! I’m looking forward to Sasha’s book because he is unhinged!!! lol

I was really looking forward to Svetas book, she was a great side character in the first 2 books of this series. 2 years ago she saved Vitya’s life after he was stabbed, she had a crush on him and after she saved him he asked to be assigned as her bodyguard and then fell for her but kept a professional distance and she says he barely spoke to her.
One night he’s killing some bad guys in basically a crack den and finds a neglected baby in a closet, he brings her home and starts looking after her, Sveta finds out and insists on helping him and the forced proximity of all this is what makes them open up to each other.
I would have preferred they were together and then the baby came into their lives not that the baby caused them to get together when he’s barely spoken to her in 2 years because he was really determined to stay professional especially after the h’s dad threatened him to never touch her. So I would have loved for him to give in and admit his feelings for her and fight for her without wondering if he ever would have done it if baby Sam hadn’t been a factor.
Apart from all that I did like it, it’s always fun being in the Melnikov world. Them teasing each other about their kids sex lives and being grandparents is always funny. And when Sveta and Vitya are together properly with the baby as a family it’s sweet and they’re so in love.
Val and Yelenas book can’t come quick enough though!! And I think Mia and Dario will possibly be a thing, Lev will be so happy if another daughter ends up with an Italian again 😂

3,2 💫 | Estos libros son, definitivamente, mi gusto culposo.
Estaba muy emocionada por este libro porque era romance de guardaespaldas y sí me gusto, pero creo que el anterior sigue siendo mi fav de todos lo que han salido hasta ahora (de la segunda generación).
Fue lindo, iba bien en el 30% porque aun no sucedía nada como suele suceder en los libros de esta autora y, antes de llegar al 40% ya estaban declarando su amor. Que, repito, a mi no me importa, es la razón por la que los leo jajajja son muy adictivos. Y era de esperarse porque ellos ya llevan 2 años de conocerse sooo mucha tensión sexual.
Y solo puedo decir lo emocionada que estoy de los libros que vienen:
💫Val y Yelena (la bomba que soltaron, hola? Es seguro que el próximo libro es el de ellos 😈).
💫El libro de Mia (esta chica, la amo. En mi corazón ella es bisexual o lesbiana, pero se que la autora la pondrá con un hombre soo el hombre que se enamore de ella tendrá que ser duro jajajja (tengo un poco de miedo porque estoy casi segura de que la pondrá con Dario) ya quiero ver que pasa).
💫El libro de Sasha (este chico me da un puto miedo jajaja pero yo no se si tenerle pena o admiración a la chica que logre llamar su atención. NECESITO).
💫Y el libro de Max (no han mencionado mucho de él, pero le gusta la música y tocar el piano. Además, es medio misterioso).
Me faltan más hermano pero por ahora solo ellos.

I am really loving this second gen series!! Vitya and Sveta were so fun to read. I loved their banter and their little family moments were so sweet. Vitya is adorable and so soft for Sveta when he finally caves and is done hiding his feelings. He was already all in from the moment he met her over two years ago, but then he was all in when they stopped hiding and let everyone know it.
I do wish there was chasing on the MMC side because it was mostly Sveta until Vitya gave in around 40%. But it was understandable since he was her bodyguard and was worried about her dad finding out and didn't want to be taken away from her/have someone else protecting her. He was the only person he trusted to be her bodyguard. I just love when my MMCs are the ones chasing lol
Vitaly is still my number one character from this universe. His scenes are absolute gold. I hope we get a bonus POV from him.
And omg Val and Yelena are absolutely precious!!! Their book is next and I cannot wait!! I am so invested in all the other kids from the second generation too. Like Mia and Dario!
I love this series because I know what to expect going in with each book. Obsessive/possessive MMC, no OPD, low angst, quick read, HEA, insta love, mafia. The perfect palate cleanser 😊

De nuevo, ¿Es un buen libro? No. ¿Me encantó? Claro que si. Estos libros de mafia interconectados son mi gusto más culposo de verdad, me tienen gritando de inicio a fin.
No podía con la tensión de Vitya enamorado de la mujer a la que tenía que cuidar. Me sigue matando de la risa todo sobre Vitaly, no existe mejor personaje en el mundo de esta autora.
Estoy gritando solo de pensar todo el estrés y taboo que será el libro de Val y Yelena.🔥

Okay, first of all, we need to take a moment to appreciate this cover model because for the love of all that is holy, I swear I blushed when I opened this ARC. Not sure who this fine specimen is but he has easily slipped into my top 3 book cover models.
Sonja has delivered another sweet and fun mafia romance for us! I'm really enjoying this next generation series. Sveta is sweet and sassy. I really liked how she pursued him without seeming desperate. I feel like she didn't hide her feelings as much as Vitya did, but it helped to have his POV. Two years is a long time to spend 24/7 with someone and not show how you feel. I don't want to give too much away with the plot because there was an interesting twist that eventually caused the 2 of them to finally get together.

-Celibate MMC for 2 years (since Sveta saved him)
-Woman hits on him at the bar and he rather rudely lets her know he isn't interested 😆
-FMC does some flirting to get under MMCs skin

5 stars is TOO low!!!!
HOLY JALAPEÑOS, This was smokin hot!!! I dont know what slayed me more—the sassy, innocent heroine who literally saves the hero with her own blood…
Or, maybe it was the stern, stoic hero who stays faithful to the heroine everyday since meeting her, even though he believes he can never have her…
or the way he melts for her and loses the battle to stay away!
Or maybe it was the way the hero, a man hardened by loss, violence and self-denial, rescues a tiny baby!
I loved this book from start to finish! The writing is smooth, while the story is sharp, everything fits together. Theres lots of yearning and tension, action, all the feelz to go with all the steam!! Seriously, this was fuego, it warmed up my heart and my kindle!
Safe. Hero is celibate since knowing heroine and no details are given of his past. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero, gives him the gift of claiming all of her firsts. No ow/om, no cheating or sharing. On page violence against secondary characters. Heroine is physically hit by villain. Hea with epilogue

Аууу толкова толкова сладка книга. Витя и Светлана бяха толкова сладка двойка. Те се обичаха от далече цели две години и намирането на Саманта, 4 месечното бебе беше това, което най-на края ги накара да признаят чувствата си. Бяха толкова сладки заедно. Обожавам колко открита и сладка беше Света, как се бореше за всичко, което иска със зъби и нокти и не се плашеше от нищо. Мълчаливия Витя стана доста приказлив, започна да се усмихва и да се закача със Света врднъж щом реши, че ще е с нея и няма да позволи на баща й да го раздели. Беше ми толкова тъжно за него, като си спомняше как е гледал Света и семейството й отстрани, любовта привързаността и приятелството между всички тях, без да може той да е част, толкова самотен е бил, но вече има огромно семейство и съм така щастлива за него. А както винаги Виталий беше така забавен, беше обещал на Витя да му отреже достойнството с тъп нож за масло, ако припари до Света.
Една от най-любимите ми сцени беше надрусания с болкоуспокояващи Витя, изправен пред петимата братя Мелников.
Виталий игнорира братята си и погледна надолу към мен.
- Обещах ти нещо, Витя. Спомняш ли си? Когато поиска от мен да охраняваш Света, ти казах, че ако някога докоснеш дъщеря ми, или ако пъхнеш коя да е от част от тялото си в нейната, че ще отрежа члена ти с много тъп нож. Ти наруши правилата. - каза ми той.

Във всички книги Виталий е толкова забавен, ама надрусания с болкоуспокояващи Витя е просто страхотен. Покрай всичко много се смях с тази книга. Всяка сцена с Виталий беше голям смях, но също така се смях със Светлана, която като баща си е вечно гладна и също като него обожава да се тъпче със захар. А Витя е маниак на тема здравословно хранене и все й набутваше да яде зеленчуци и макар да й мрънкаше за захарта, която поглъща, все имаше заделено нещо сладко за нея.
Тук видяхме и Валентин, близнака на Светлана и Йолена, дъщерята на Матвей и Алана. Двамата са влюбени, но крият връзката си, защото са израснали като братовчеди, нищо, че бащите им не са истински братя и нямат кръвна връзка. В края на книгата се разбра, че Йолена е бременна. Започвам веднага тяхната книга.🥰

Аууу толкова толкова сладка книга. Витя и Светлана бяха толкова сладка двойка. Те се обичаха от далече цели две години и намирането на Саманта, 4 месечното бебе беше това, което най-на края ги накара да признаят чувствата си. Бяха толкова сладки заедно. Обожавам колко открита и сладка беше Света, как се бореше за всичко, което иска със зъби и нокти и не се плашеше от нищо. Мълчаливия Витя стана доста приказлив, започна да се усмихва и да се закача със Света врднъж щом реши, че ще е с нея и няма да позволи на баща й да го раздели. Беше ми толкова тъжно за него, като си спомняше как е гледал Света и семейството й отстрани, любовта привързаността и приятелството между всички тях, без да може той да е част, толкова самотен е бил, но вече има огромно семейство и съм така щастлива за него. А както винаги Виталий беше така забавен, беше обещал на Витя да му отреже достойнството с тъп нож за масло, ако припари до Света.
Една от най-любимите ми сцени беше надрусания с болкоуспокояващи Витя, изправен пред петимата братя Мелников.

I swear this series just keeps getting better, & I know w/out a doubt the next book is gonna be crazy good!
This is one of my favorite book families ever, the love they all for everyone & the strength & bond is incredible. The bond between Vitaly & his brothers is one of the best, & I can’t get enough of their fun banter! I still die of laughter over the crib episode f/their series & loved Sonja bringing it into this series. That was definitely funny & memorable.
Vitya & Sveta’s story was everything I wanted. Vitya had my eyes watery & my heart fluttering w/his love for Sveta, especially when I read the inscription in his ring & how he was always taking care & making sure she was bundled up to go out. And the chemistry between them was explosive & very hot. I loved seeing them as a family & care for Samantha.
And of course no Melnikov story is complete w/out Vitaly! He still manages to steal the scenes & had me laughing-ALOT. There’s no denying Sveta is his little girl!
I’m gonna be sitting on pins & needles waiting for Val & Yelena’s story! I can’t wait. I’m also anxious for Sasha’s too.

This was a great new addition to this series. The characters in the story had a strong and genuine connection, and the writing style was superb. However, I personally didn't connect with the baby trope that was included in the plot. On the other hand, I absolutely loved the playful and witty banter between the main characters, and the book had just the right amount of spicy and exciting moments. I had been eagerly anticipating the story of these two characters, and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed.

The Melnikov kids are all grown up, and Sonja Grey proves once again that she’s the queen of mafia romance that’s equal parts chaos, charm, and steam. 😍
This time, we get Svetlana and Vitya’s story, a slow burn (well, for about 40%) between a feisty mafia princess and her grumpy, too-good-for-his-own-heart bodyguard. They’ve been circling each other for two years after she literally saved his life (yes, a vein-to-vein transfusion, talk about instant connection 😳). He promised her dad he’d never touch her… and we all know how that kind of promise usually ends.
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting the baby twist. Vitya finds an abandoned baby during a job, and that unexpected discovery pushes him and Sveta into this cute, chaotic, accidental family situation. It’s heart-melting at times 💕, but it also kinda took the spotlight away from their romance for a bit. I wanted more them before the diapers showed up. 😅
Still, their chemistry? 🔥 Off the charts. Their banter had me laughing out loud, and when Vitya finally gives in to his feelings, he becomes the sweetest, most protective man alive. The man worships the ground she walks on, and I was here for it.
What I love about this series is that it delivers exactly what I want every time:
✨ Protective, obsessive MMC
✨ Sassy, strong FMC
✨ Mafia mayhem + family hijinks
✨ Low angst, no cheating, no third-act breakup
✨ A guaranteed HEA 🫶
Also, the Melnikov family moments? Absolute gold. Every time the whole gang shows up, it’s pure chaos and comedy. I love that there are no manwhores this time around, just loyal, growly men who fall hard for their women. 🙌
That said, I did find myself skimming a few scenes near the end. The pacing lagged a bit, and the extended spicy scenes (looking at you, 26-minute chapter 👀) could’ve been trimmed without losing impact.
But overall, Born into Chaos is a warm, funny, steamy addition to the Melnikov world. It’s less brutal than the earlier books and more domestic in tone, but still packed with the same love, loyalty, and danger that make this universe so addictive.

Hace mucho no leí el cliché de guardaespaldas.
No me llamaba la atención pero si sentía curiosidad sobre la forma en que iban a desarrollar todo. Estuvo bonito y no me esperaba lo del bebé pero creo que fue buena trama. Lo único es que no congenie bien con Svetlana, no me gustó de a mucho. Me cayó mejor Vitya.

ugh i hate having to do this but i really did not like this. the baby plot line was a really bad choice imo because it completely ruined both sveta and vitya’s character and just made the story so stagnant and repetitive. it didn’t make sense with either character and they just felt so different from the previous books. also i don’t like how similar vitya and vitaly’s names are 😭

I love everything Sonja Grey writes. She has blessed us with this second generation series and they just keep getting better. I have been anticipating there book since we met them in Born Into Sin and it did not disappoint. Svetlana saved Vitya when they were attacked in the first book and he was stabbed which led to him being her personal bodyguard for the last 2 years. I loved everything about Svetlana she was the perfect amount of sweet and sassy. Like father like daughter lol 😂. The banter in this book was great these two love going back and forth with each other. Sveta especially likes to remind Vitya that she saved his life and has not let him forget for the last 2 years lol. I already knew I was going to love Vitya but after reading his pov and seeing his real feelings for Svetlana and that he would do anything for her made me love him even more. Also the take of surprise baby in this book was done so beautifully and made the story even more perfect. The spice was hot as usual. Vitya and his dirty mouth was so hot 🥵.
Getting to see all of the kids and the parents together is one of my favorite parts of this series and the banter between the brothers. And of course Vitaly always makes the books I love that man so much lol 😂.
I also can’t wait for Val and Yelena’s book I already know I’m going to love it!!

I love everything Sonja Grey writes. She has blessed us with this second generation series and they just keep getting better. I have been anticipating there book since we met them in Born Into Sin and it did not disappoint. Svetlana saved Vitya when they were attacked in the first book and he was stabbed which led to him being her personal bodyguard for the last 2 years. I loved everything about Svetlana she was the perfect amount of sweet and sassy. Like father like daughter lol 😂. The banter in this book was great these two love going back and forth with each other. Sveta especially likes to remind Vitya that she saved his life and has not let him forget for the last 2 years lol. Can I just say how much I adore Sonja Grey and her writing. This is another book I could not put down for the life of me. My family knows if I am reading Sonja walk away. 😏😅 No but seriously I knew that Sveta's story was going to be epic and she really is a little bee, with all her sting. I love the banter between her and Vitya. A match made in heaven if I do say so myself.. and I do! There are so many things I could gush about and we would be here all day but I won't do that to you. I will say as always I love this family. The way they take care of each other is my most favorite thing to read. I am so here for the twins relationship. They truly have each other's backs and I am here for that. I can't wait to see who Sasha ends up with.. that should be interesting 😅😁 I need to see how Val and Yelena get their HEA because they deserve it. Seeing a small part of their dynamic broke my heart for them. Imagine having to hide your love for someone from the people you both love most in this world.. that's heartbreaking. I can NOT wait for the next book and Sonja I am telling you if you need or heck even want a permanent ARC reader I am your girl!! DM me or email I am down for both. I would like to start this off by saying that of all the books I have read I was so proud to say none of them had ever made me cry, I am no longer able to say that My pimp card has officially been snatched and honestly, I’m not even upset about it because holy shit . I will say though even if you do end up crying you’ll be laughing in a couple of pages anyways
After everything that sveta and vitya went through they deserve all the happiness in the world and Ms. Queen Sonja obviously delivered that for us per her usual.
I was so excited for these two
there was the perfect amount of push and pull, and the buildup altogether was phenomenal sveta gave him hell and honestly, he never stood a chance to begin with.
I never expected what brought them together, but I think that just added to the thrill of things because no one ever expected it and after that the shenanigans just kept coming but the way everything played out was flawless
five star read and highly recommend if you read the first generation,
you’ll appreciate all of the effort that was put into each individual character and that alone is a big part of why Sonja Grey is hands down my favorite author because nothing is ever left unexplained and if it is then chances are you’ll get every answer You’re looking for in the next book.

Just finished and there's so much I want to say. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions
About Sveta and Vitya's relationship I can't say more than they are totally adorable, they complement each other so well, while Vitya is a fan of order and healthy food, Sveta is a bit messy, loud and can eat her own weight in sugar (like her dad)
Seeing again the moments when the Melnikov Family comes together and the way they support each other is amazing, I can't wait to read more about all of them
I knew I was going to love Vitaly as a father but also seeing him as a grandfather and as a father-in-law (Vitya definitely won his love with that fruit snack) was so cute, I can't wait to read his POV
The ending with that cliffhanger? Sonja please can't leave us like this with the Val and Yelena’s story, I'm imagining so many scenarios and I just hope you don't make us suffer so much, now I don't know what to do or read until her book comes out
And the restaurant scene was so perfect (admit it made me cry a little) it was definitely one of my favorite scenes, and also when Vitya tells Vitaly about Sveta’s favorite toy. I fucking love this family!!! I also hope to know more about Max and Sasha. Mia and Dario definitely have a spark, right?

Another amazing read by Sonja.. I couldn't wait for Sveta's book I knew it was going to have so much fun banter between her and Vitya and plenty of hot spice from them to.. I feel like it had a sweet side to them to especially involving Samantha I just love their little family.. Hearing bits from all the family really make me happy and having loads of Vitaly moments in this book was just brilliant👏 I always feel great after reading a book by Sonja and the only thing u are left wanting is another book from Sonja 😂😂 5 stars as always with her books and u will never be disappointed after u pick any up to read.. love love love this Meliknov next Gen series ❤️

I read this author as a feel good…
I like her books cuz their all devoted men that all fall instantly in love, & there’s usually enough going on 2 keep me interested in story & the spice levels R always 5+ 🌶️
This book fell way short for me, just due to the inconsistency & believeability of it. & I’ve read enough that u have to put aside that aspect for these types of books, buuuut, I’ve come to enjoy these characters & this series and their parents series too! So, when I say that I Almost didn’t finish, it was really hard to get past these details….I just felt a little bit like it was lazy writing to just breeze past so much. I don’t wanna give away the ending but the whole ending just was completely just no! No! Disappointed in author with this one. Writing was fine, just felt the author’s decisions of this story and details of how they got to the end could have been a lot better!! I’ve read a lot of her books & she should have put a Little more effort in this one.

What can I say, Vitya is the perfect man.
He loves Sveta so much that it hurts to read about those two years he couldn't be with her. I love that Sveta never gave up on him, even though Vitya tried to push her away with his attitude because he didn't allow himself to be with her. 🥺🥺
Anyway, the book is amazing like all of Sonja's books, you get immersed in the story and you can't stop reading!
AND THE ENDING, OH MY GOD, how am I supposed to wait two months? 😭😭

Usually I love these books but I have to say this one is my least favourite in the series.
The book started well, the build up was there, then they went & found a random baby & the book became about her. There wasn’t enough time for the 2 MC’s to build a relationship, they got no time together as a couple, it just fell flat for me.
As always, Vitaly makes these books, god I love him!
Can’t wait for Sasha’s book! Please be good!

I love the "found family" trope and Sonja Grey did not disappoint! I am an avid reader of all of her Bratva stories and at no point have they felt stale or redundant. Her seamless weaving of the family dynamics of the Melnikovs with the newer characters is always fun to read.
Vitya/Sveta are so adorably stubborn and in love with each other.
