This book was easy to read. The author writes in a casual tone that makes it feel like you are having a conversation together. There is a beautiful blend of Scriptural truth, challenging next steps, and practical advice. I know that while I was reading I was both motivated and challenged to pursue a better version of who God created me to be. The author walks you through several stories in the Bible and helps you look at them in a fresh new way. This book is for everyone- all ages and everyone who thinks they could grow in confidence from God.

At heart - I'm a narcissist or maybe a recovering one. I hate self help books. That said, this book is excellent. Actually got a highlighter and pen and made notes. Well written, half story - half how that story is going to self help you. While written by a Christian author, the info is usable by both Christian and "un"Christian. Historically inviting and accurate in the depth of our invasive self imploding selves. Definitely recommend and worth the read.
